Nathan was the first character I properly roleplayed as, and I spent the better part of three years playing as him.  So yes, I am rather passionate about his development as a character.

Hey, I just wanted to correct some missing details I left out, and make sure that Nathan + Heart didn't have a complete downer ending so far. I'm not THAT merciless to them....

The story is fine.  It wasn't far off from what I was expecting.  Just extremely jarring to see such a twisted version of a previously happy ending. As Phantom said, this is an alternate timeline not canon to the original Skull Ruins, so I don't need to worry about this interfering with any other plans I'd had for Nathan and related characters.

If it makes you feel any better, I am now imaging cool things for antihero Nathan to say if I ever reprise my role as him here The additional tidbits are even giving me a few more ideas

Also, as a general announcement, I'll be going back to finishing up PC Creation for everyone (Somebody did something to give me more PM Space - thanks, whoever did that!) , and in between that I'll be getting The Map at least interpretable, putting key to post on the Scimitar Council, and finally get about to prettying up and fleshing out Da Rules Section.

1 - First of all: I more or less have the same emotion as Dragonstrike: I... sad to see everyone fates. I mean, Nathan lost his father again. Shiva fate is also very sad in a way (yes, she was able to find another timeline to live ever happier, but...still very sad after everything she pass though). Not only that but Nathan lost Kirlia...thats one of a heavy blow, and one I pretty much can relate (I do remember the time Gaspar died in Celadon City...and had a similar emotion when Rose was kipnaped in Skull Ruins). But to die like that...Its hurt a bit even if it was a alternative timeline. Not only that but see Ventus suffer more and more, even from here I could feel the soulcrushing blow in him. I...do have a theory about Ventus fate...but to be quite honest...it gives me dread just to think about that theory, and I hope I am wrong. And...Terra betrayal I can understand his reasons, but such thing still hurt a bit.

2 - Heart...oh Heart. To me at least, he kinda had a nice ending, in be a hero...but it still pretty sad. He loose a family once, when his family was kill...and now he loose another one from his friends getting separating one by one. And I do remember Heart is pure raw emotion. So seing such events happen around him, and be the bastion of strengh of everyone, and try to show no weakness? I mean...when everything around you is war and tragedy, there little space to show a lot of emotions: Like cry, laugh, or everything, since the situation kinda charge you to be strong. Can't say I curious to see what kind of changes Heart develop after so many tragedies happen around him: He still had any piece of the PUNisher Pokemon Collector he was once was...or was kinda buried after so many tragedies happen around him. I wonder what happen to Heart too in other aspects. "Shaman Hero"...I wonder if he became a more spiritual kind of person, trying to help both people and Pokemon go though so many suffering, trying to harmonize people and pokemon together. And try to end the cycle of hate the world was doomed. But that other tittle..."Black Flame". I both curious to see what make him get such tittle. And I wonder if in this timeline he got the Flame Powers he got from the Skull Ruins, or symbolize something else.

3 - Enigma...I can only imagine that guy be the main bag villain of the campaigh, or at least one of them. Those Shadow Pokemon is S problem to everyone: Human. Pokemon. Legendary. One way or another we gonna meet that person. I do wish we not, for many reasons. At least...not now. And depending in how different the timeline is, Heart problably have a different mindset, since Enigma is someone who wants to humans control nature and kill the gods (in this case Legendary), and Heart want human to live in harmony with nature in the original timeline. I wonder what would happen if Nathan and Heart meet Enigma. What fight would happen.

I...dont have much to say that I didnt said in the Spoiler thing. I curious to see more of this changed world...and I know I very selfish in want to know a lot too about everyone characters fates. Specially Heart. I would lie if I say I not both curious and kinda of fearful about Heart changes. Between Arial, Heart, Leo and Kogeki, Heart was the second character I make, but I feel one of the most connected, and where I put a good portion of emotion with him. That was the essence of him: Heart. A person full of the purest and wildest source of raw emotions like a flame: Rage. Passion. Sadness. Happiness. Fear. Bravery. Hatred. Determination. He was the both center concepts of a heart, good and bad. I the more I think of it, the more I curious to see the choices he made.

Yeeeep. The Heroes of the Prime Timeline get their teeth kicked in, then punched in the stomach for good measure. My muse REALLY didn't want us things to go peachy - even the 'winners' didn't really get what they wanted in the end, and I me ALL the Heroes. Such is life, at times...

Still, some things went better than in the normal timeline, at least for Galar and Paldea (and Obviously Sutalor, but they don't count). No telling what is going on in the other Regions....yet.

Send me a PM of your Theory! - If you're right, I'll give you some goodies when you join the game! But yeah, AU Heart has had it Tough - still, he won't let himself be defeated by it all. He's got a lot of responsibilites and people riding on him, and he SHALL NOT let them down.

I'm amused no one has guess right about all the Heroes Titles, but I guess I can be sufficiently mysterious on accident ^_^

You can always do more History and Lore research once the game begins to find out more about them - and get a different side to the story, depending on what sources you unearth...

Heart's still got all that in spades, my friend. It's just been tempered in bad blood instead of Fire.

@PhantomUnderYourDesk : Indeed! The options to actually BE from there....well. You'd get a lot for it, but you'd also get a lot for it. Don't let that discourage you from trying to utlizie it, though - playing with fire can be fun if you know what you're doing, he he!

This bring a super important question: Did our characters had any descendants? Nathan was a piece of bad road, so I can bet someone did catch the heart of our favorite grumpy trainer, heh. Heart on the other hand...He did make one of his goals was to restore the ArcHeart clan. I wonder if the way he rebuild was though marrying and having many children, or maybe training some pupils and let them join the clan. It's been 60 years more or less, so he probably end up with someone. Or not, I don't know the decisions of this version of Heart.

Now, the honest answer to your question of whether Shiva had any descendants is: I do not know. I really don't. The more detailed answer is 'it extremely strongly depends on which timeline you follow, and even then I cannot give you a direct answer'. Following the skull-ruins-timeline, the answer is 'Maybe. Only if Ven manages to get a decent enough hold on himself to at least tolerate Shiva's personal interest in fairy magic, and tries to be a better person. Whether this possible for him, I cannot say/don't know'. The boring answer is that 'someone will need to continue her Pokemon Daycare, but she can always get a student to inherit it to'.
