Save File Problems
#1
It's not really a matter of accidentally deleting or trying to find my save file. But more that I don't know how to insert it into my game. The only times I've been able to access it was when it was updated to the newest version. And now that I'm all caught up, I'm stuck at the new game menu screen with nothing else.

I don't even know where I began to go wrong with this so any help is much appreciated.

Often, this is caused by launching the game through the Patcher.exe vs launching it from the Uranium.exe. Do one of those consistently and you will probably see your problem disappear.

If that doesn't fix it, come back with more details and we can probably help you further.

I was launching it by Uranium.exe directly. But I always got my files by Patcher.exe, I just don't know how to download it.

So when you launch it from Patcher.exe you can see your save files, and if you launch it from Uranium.exe you cannot?

Okay so. When I opened Uranium up the second time, I couldn't see my save file and then I clicked the update button. When I did, Patcher had my save file right there and had the complete UI for a saved game. I also don't technically have Patcher, I only had access to it when I updated the game and thought it was normal for the game to be like this. When I finally reached the final update of Uranium, the game had no need to update, thus no need to re-open Patcher for a third time.

With the information given recently, mostly thanks to you Iron, I know that I need to download Patcher.exe.

So overall, thank you for helping me!

So... bit of a problem...

I can't find a file online that has Patcher.exe and the ones that do are sent to a reddit link that's removed. So uh... help please?

I just checked Mega links for both zip and installer on that post, and they are both working

Yep, you are correct on that. What I meant was that I couldn't find a link to Patcher on its own. The problem was that I used the Installer directly. After you sent the link I downloaded the ZIP file and boom, there's my save. Meaning this entire problem wouldn't have been one if I just downloaded the ZIP file.

Thank you Mikaruge108 and Iron for the answers they gave to me. Have a wonderful day!

All of those contain the Patcher. You can't update your game without it - since you updated your game, even if it was through Check For Updates, that means you had a Patcher all along.

anyway, glad it's working now.
