...Hoo humm. Sitting right here in that teatime retreat and breakfast nook of that anxious man's place and having taken their time to let their gaze wander a bit until he returns, Bernhard's first impression is that this man is wealthy, but in a way that is elegantly so. Like, definitely not ostentatious, which is appreciated and which lowkey reminds Bernhard on their Mentor. He has a fine taste for decoration and furniture, got to give him that much indeed. Must be a man in a high position or ortherwise important figure in some way. All of this kinda makes Bernhard wonder what he'd reward them with if they DO succeed in curing his precious daughter - but blatantly asking this would be quite rude, so Bernhard abstains.
One more thing that the stoic Magus can't help but to wonder about is how that man keeps repeating that his daughter is 'all he has left' - if that's the case, what's with the girl's mother? Are there perhaps any hints within view to do sort of an educated guess on this? Like, framed photographs or similar, out of sheer curiosity? Whether there are or there aren't, Bernhard will definitely NOT ask, least he's risk a full breakdown of that guy!
Either way, enough of mulling over things as it leads nowhere. Instead, time for tea! Tea of a VERY fine sort and quality, and tea WITHOUT having to worry whether or not it is spiked with weird fae brews or aromatic herbs, hooray and yay!~ Both is highly appreciated and gladly accepted! (I also so hecking love tea, and like it a lot how it seems to be a big thing in Scimitar society or at least to Bern's Mentor!) "Just a bit of sugar, thanks. It's bitter completely without, but too much will mask the certainly unique taste... I also have to admit you have a FINE taste for furniture and decoration. Modest, but stylish through and through."
There's something weirdly off-place of sitting here and drinking tea all calmly (in Bernhard's case, that is) while something BIG has happened that caused the city to go into an impromptu lock-down, but does the local Scimitar Magus care? ...No, not really. He'd probably watch the world burn while keeping an unimpressed facade if he knows for certain that he and those he cares for a safe and sound. Plus if his guess is correct, the others, for certain Seddi if Bernhard's first impression remains true, got himself involved ALREADY in SOME way - Oh boi, hopefully all the people he met yesterday won't bite off more than they can chew, like lots of young adults and adventurous people do...? Well, thank heaven and Arcus that Bernhard has more than grown out of that phase.
For a bit there's only silence after the man introduced himself and almost threw himself into an anxious fuss once more, until Berhard gave him a reassuring and honestly gentle (yet only mild) smile. "There, there, Mr... Gleam, was it? *hand gesture of waving any worries off* Please, do not be hasty. I will see her, and I have assured you that I will lend you my help, and I have always kept keep my words so far. However, please, tell me more about her first. Tell me what her symptoms are, whether there is anything that you have tried that only made her condition worse, and anything that might be of importance when brewing together a Healing Potion for her with... - *reaches out to pet Nirix's neck* - "...his unique skill's help. It is also of a crucial role for you to understand that it is not me you have to convince on giving you a hand - It is him. Like I have told you, a Galarian Rapidash's horn is potent and strong in any healing arts, but only if the intent under which even just part of it is given is pure and honest..."
"Therefor, please tell us two how much it'd mean to you if we were able to make Saph feel better. How much joy and happiness and whatelse it'd bring you as well as her... You, Nirix, I ask you to listen, and listen well. Please, be open about aiding us in this case, allow me to ask you this. You do not have to gift us your complete horn if this is what you are wary of, though I do definitely appreciate if I could add just a grounded PART of it into my created tonic t least." Bernhard carefully continues to pet his prized unicorn, runs his natural hand through his colorful pastel-y veil and mane, utters careful and almost whispered words to him. "I KNOW of your reservations, Nirix. I am AWARE of your waryness of parting with something as prized as bits of your horn. ...Though if there ever is a time to display courage and compassion, then it is NOW. Humans have done horrendous acts on your kin, I am painfully aware. But, is this worth it letting your heart be blackened and poisoned, refusing to aid those in dire need of your unique powers? ...It is not, in my books that is. Never forget what has been done to your kind, but never let this prevent you from being the one who lends a helping hands to those that need it. My intent is pure, and I will certainly not force you doing something you aren't okay with. This man's intent is pure, it is clear as day that he only wishes to see his beloved daughter smile again. Do you...understand? Please, listen to what he is about to tell us, and have yourself a heart, my dear and treasured one. You have been with me since you were a juvenile Ponyta, and you have let me understand that you did have a read of my heart's content upon meeting me. No evil is what you found within it - now, can you spot any malice in this man's heart?"
During it all, Bernhard will - if possible - already create prepare Alpha Form of the needed Healing Tonic, by adding 2 Units of Veil Color to a vial of destilled water (which he should always have a reasonable amount of, I'd guess). Then he'll take a small (just a spoonful!) portion of it, and add just a little bit of ground Soulably flowers into it to see what effect it'll have. (Reminder, those were the fuchsia-glowing flowers that Iron Leaves caused to grow) Their effects are unknown to him, but he's got a feeling they may be useful in medicine making...?

Going to rough up some school club thugs, eh? Be careful. They're probably not our vandals and kidnappers, but even a smaller a coordinated group isn't easy to take down, especially if the grunts are willing to tag team ya. If they have any honor at all or you can intimidate them sufficiently, they might back down if you can take out their leadership. Knock a few small dominoes over, then tackle the big one when they come out to squash the problem their grunts can't handle. That oughta teach 'em a lesson.
That was a weirdly detailed response. Almost like Seddi has done something like that before...

You get a long but clear message back from her - All is well with me. I'm still working on prior takes and dealing with the government. The news reached me just a few moment ago - truly, it is most vile and wrong. I was about to message you about it myself, but it appears you found out as quick as I had. What is going to be stance on this matter? If you are getting involved, I'll be sure to let our 'minders' know and get this sorted out for everyone's benefit, as much as it disgusts me to play these games with matters such as THESE. Rest assure things will be taken care of, one way or another.
Since Oz/ @ Spiritmon didn't have much more to say, and neither of you made any request for stops, everyone makes great time to the '2nd Pokemon Center' . Dodger would go even faster if he could, but intercity speed laws and the crisis at hand is forcing him to slow down, much to his intense displeasure - he wants to deal with this matter 5 SECOND AGO, let alone NOW.
The scene itself....
An entire Center, cordooned off from the public.
It looks so plain and inviting, like all Centers should.
A lie, all a lie, cruelly and Injustice made by whatever scum responsible for it and so many others...
Around it, small but growing crowd of people, Trainers, and Pokemon, all of them terrified out of their mindss. A few medical tents where stationed nearby, with a few nurses, EMTs, Healers, and other folks staffing them and rushing all about, trying to keep the people that can't be moved alive and well in spite of everything. A far too small squad of police officers, Trainers, detectives, and volunteer forces, all grimly patrolling and maintaining the perimeter with tight grips on their armaments of choice and an even tighter grip on the Pokeballs.
Everyone was so on edge, all it would take it just one more disaster to set everything off, like the Blaze to an Inferno.
Evil, desperation, and control: the ever toxic relationship on full display...
As you all stepped out of the vehicle the serious and not at all dandy Rodger turned to you two and gave you a quick nod, jerking his head over to wear the police were, who were already taking quick notice of you guys arrival.
"I'll handle the suits for now. Do what you think is best - if anyone tries to stop ya, tell them that Everret is overseeing things now, and you got permission to act straight from him. Though with your own 'status' I reckon it'd take more than a little red-tape to stop you, Seddi, and I doubt the meds would turn down another Helping Hand after you proved yourself. *Sighs* Right, off I go then. Pray and Wish us Good Fortune to resolve things 'fore they get further out of hand, 'cause if this is only the openning act....damn them all."
With that said, off he does go, to do what he does best - helping others, and making everything groovy and dandy eventually.
@ Pokekitty2 : Just as you were about to head off to do as you may, you both notice something out of place: a salary and Touristy looking man was wandering around inside the perimeter already, looking very much out of his element yet resigned to dealing with things all the same, and at his side an Espeon that was nosing about the place, their eyes and gem stone glowing every now and again as they used their powers to search the scene for ANY clues they can find...
Oz heart was heavy in such distraught scene. She however know be sad in this moment will not anyone. She just nod her head towards Seddi/@ Dragonstrike and off she go to the closest officer. "Officer, I heard what happened, and I came here to help. I have medical abilities, and my Pokemon also have healing skills. Can I help?"

Your questions about the girl's mother shall remain a mystery for the most part (until you are brave enough to ask about it...), though you do get one hint about it: a single Picture of Rubin, his daughter Saph, and a short woman. The daughter is barely older than a couple years old, so how reflective of how she looks now remains to be seen, though you see that she has blond hair and bright blue eyes. The short woman, on the other hand, had long brown hair, bright green eyes, and was wearing what looked to be a plain everyday dress that wouldn't look out of place from an office lady setting. She had a small but vivid smile, looking absolutely content as she hugged Rubin, who was the one holding what you presume to be his daughter.
Nothing could ever compare to Morgana's own fae and witchy brews, for better AND worse, though tea not imbued with a bit of Magic or Specialness does make it seem almost inferior. Fortunately you know how to appreciate any kind of tea of any kind, and you know a bit of discrete magic to mask or enhance the taste of foods if need be. Not that it's needed in this case, but it is good to know!
Your host smiles lightly at your praise, bowing his head slightly as he served you.
"Th-thank you. I come from a 'Old' family, and our tastes have always been a bit classical..."
A faint sense of nostalgia filled his tone, a distant look in his eyes for a moment before he shook it off. Your condolences also help center him some, though it's clear that the situation with his daughter - and the probability of curing her ills - is ever a burdensome weight on his shoulders. He stays respectfully silent as you speak, and answers you questions clearly and calmly as he can, taking deep breaths and sips of tea between all of them.
"... My daughter is deathly pale, Ice cold to the touch, and has no appetite or energy these days. I....have to use IVs and nutritional and medicinal supplements to keep her conditional.... stable. She has been comatose for the past two months, with only brief, brief periods of lucidness and being awake. During those times she seems....so gloomy and yet at peace. It's....it's errie to see. *Pensive look into his tea* .... Ghosts - the Pokemon Type - have also beein attracted to her for the longest time, ever since her illness become more....severe. I've had to put Spell Tags and burn special Incenses to ward them away from her and my home. I'm unsure if they have something to do with her illness, or if....."
He goes silent at that point, as both your mind turn towards a very gloomy possibility.
"....I've tried every medicine and treatment known to man. I've tried Pokemon medicines prescribed for the most severe of conditions, to the most resistant of creatures. I've had doctors from around the world try to diagnos and assess my daughter's condition. *Slowly shakes head* ....None of it has worked. The best I've manage is using Berries and Incense to bolster her health, and keeping her room and bedding as heated as it's safe to counteract her chill. It has been working.....but not helping. And I don't know for how long that will remain the case."
He seems especially distraught as he said the last part, but he tries his best to keep himself calm. The shaking in his wrists and teacup tell the truth of how he feels, however.
Your speech about Nirix and the qualifications necessary to get the healing properties of his Horn makes him go still as he listened, his tremors increasing slightly before they smoothed over as he took another deep breath. He then got up from his seat and walked over to your unicorn, who seemed a bit wary of the man, but your words from earlier made him remain tolerant to the close proximity and its suddeness. Rubin then got on his knees and bowed to your majestic steed, metaphorically and literally leaving himself at their complete mercy.
"I....I....don't know what to say to you. T-to let y-you know how....how much it would mean to me to have my daughter, my precious, miraculous little Saph, back to being a happy, health, and normal little girl. She....she is my world, and I will do almost everything I can to make sure she can live a life full of wonder and joy. Even...even give up all I have, every last bit of myself, burning myself out through and through, to see her safe and whole. So please....please....PLEASE, Nirix.... Please, by your grace and mercy....please help Saph. Please.... "
Nirix is....he looks overwhelmed by the outpouring of this man's heart as they laid it bare to him, taking a few steps back and looking at him with widened eyes. The desperation, the sorrow, the almost hollow and hopelessness the man was filled with nearly caused them to retreat to their Ball. But yet. Yet...underneath that, shining so brightly and hostly, like a minature sun, was Love. Love and Devotion towards his daughter, a Dutifulness and Integrity to do everything that was right by others and in all his Actions, and a soft-hearted Fairness towards all others, no matter who or what they may be.
This man, this Rubin....he was a truly miserable person now. At the end of his rope, about to hang from all the tireless work he's done for daughter and the toll it has taken on his weary spirit.
Yet, Rubin would not rest. Not yet, not ever, not until his daughter Saph was cured and in whole health once more....or until the bitter end. Hers....or his.
For a long time Nirix just stood there over the knelling Rubin, pensive. Through your magical bond with him you knew what he felt, and knew his hesitation and uncertainty of what he should do. For as aloof and stoic as he was, your fae stallion truly had a soft and tender heart. One that cared for others and the world, and wanted to see that everything was done right and true to all, as good as it can be. He looked over at you - for support, for reassurance, for comfort, for a sign, or for something, you can hardly tell.
Then, after what seemed to be hours, Nirix slowly craned his head down towards Rubin...and gently *huffed* , rustling his hair and causing them to look up at him. Your unicorn's gaze as calm as it can be as they locked gazes with the prosecutor.... before slowly closing his eyes and nodding, before he opened them and motioned with one hoof for the man to rise. A myraid of vivid emotions flashed through Rubin's face at this, until a look of fragile hope blossomed, tears beading at the corners of his eyes has he gave one last bow to Nirix.
"Thank you....thank you...! I promise I will repay you and your Master for this boon, and do anything you request of me. Thank you, thank you....! "
You and Rubin have received permission to use Nirix's Horn in any Healing Potion or Alchemic Creation towards Curing Saph.
Making a 'Alpha Healing Potion' would be hard to do on the spot - it'd take a few hours to either get set up (preferably in Rubin's kitchen) and brew it, then more time to tweak it in order to tailor it to Saph's condition. Considering how anxious everyone was feeling by now.... well, any delays could probably wait until you get to see Saph for yourself and determine what exactly is wrong with her. Perhaps any Knowledge gleaned would help make a proper Cure for the poor girl faster than trying a generalized approach - or perhaps not. You knew how fickle Magic could be at times, and with how harrowing the young lady's condition sounded...who knows indeed how things will turn out.
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.

He exchanges glances with Ecclesia and especially Lani, he knew very well that she would be up to dish out some pummleing to those who attempted to scratch her pride.
Before starting the walk he would text Seddi to inform him about his whereabouts and the plan, assuming that he would be the most likely to have experience in dealing with criminals.
(if this counts as the end of encounter 1 he would collect the berry yield and plant a papaya berry for the next day)
The Officer rubs the back of his head at the irritated response, looking embarrassed and a bit unnerved at it.
"Apologies for that, sir. Sometimes, Fate works in mysterious ways in Sutalor, and now....well, it seems to be working most obtusely. *Nods* You will be compensated for this, though how much depends on the outcome. Try to minimize property damage if it comes to that, and prioritize a peaceful outcome if at all possible. If not....be merciful and fair as you can be, Dragon Master."
Lani looks grimly certain, tapping their knuckles together in anticipation for finishing those punks retribution and hopefully get a good fight out of it. Ecclesia seems unbothered by it all, though you can tell the thought of a Tough Fight exictes them by the subtle gleam in their eyes.
When you look back over to Penelope, you see her laughing as Nalu danced around her, carefully tickling the girl with their spines and acting like the Jolly goof that he was. Success!
You recieve the direction to Dusk Gloom Park and a 'Nominated Deputy' badge from the Officer upon concluding business with them, and after you receive your message back from Seddi you are ready to head out and deal with those knuckleheads once and for all! The sports girl is sad to see you go but wishes you well, giving you a warm smile and bow.
"Thank you for all the help. Please, come back once this tragedy is over: this Pool will always be open to you, and you and your Pokemon deserve to enjoy it. Good luck, and may the Sun and Moon be with you!"
===
Eventually you arrive at Dusk Gloom Park, a place that was completely shrouded in perpetual shadows from the many tall trees, rock outcroppings, and other tall plants and landmarks. It took a bit of searching, but eventually you found who you were looking for: a group of punks hanging out by a empty, shadowy field with a couple of benchs, tables, and grills. A few of them were on watch (though they couldn't see you from the shadows you were lurking in), but most of the others were being a right rowdy bunch, goofing off and being a general mild menace to society. A few battles were taking place, and you noted that each of the Pokemon looked as if they were Dark Typed or similar - must be this gang's theme beyond 'harassing innocent ladies' . All told, their were roughly 20 Breakneck Boys here; how many Pokemon or what tools and tricks they have remains unknown to you, beyond that about half of the members had Pokemon Partners in crime.
However, there was a smaller group (still part of the 20 total) of BBs off to the side that seemed to be heckling and lambasting a pair of members, who you quickly recognized as the Punks almost responsible for ruining Penelope's day! Seems like they were getting reemed for something - perhaps their failure to complete their mean spirited mission.
No sign of that Tough fellow the Officer mentioned - at least, none of the punks here match that descriptions by you and your Mons estimates.
You got the Initiative: How are going to handle things? Shock and awe, Stealthy, By the Books Confrontations, etc. ?

Seddi doesn't even bat an eye at Sylvia's own introduction (and her snickering at his name). Maybe not surprising given he seemed to have been anticipating the telepathy already, but the man is certainly a bit of a mystery who looks and acts a little out of place himself.
"No offense taken. You can probably imagine how often I get reactions like that when I introduce myself."
Ceruledge gives Sylvia a respectful, silent nod in return. Though she's still keeping a careful eye on the Espeon and her interpreter(?), she's started scanning the area for anyone that looks suspicious. Some of the pressure from her staring is alleviated for now.
"Right then. Rabsca, come on out!"
Seddi tosses a Nest Ball, and the floating psychic beetle immediately takes notice of the other powerful Psychic presence in the area. Their eyes are closed, but it's clear they're interested in the Espeon.
"With your permission Sylvia, I'd like Rabsca to directly assist you with scanning the area. He's a powerful Synchronizer himself, and if you combine your abilities, maybe you'll be able to pick up on something we might miss otherwise. The sensation can feel a little invasive if you aren't expecting it and are sensitive to such powers, so you are free to deny the direct Synchronization if you have privacy concerns. Rabsca works much more efficiently when Synchronized though, and it could double our productivity, which is why I'm suggesting it. The sooner we track down these varmints, the better." There is a slight hum as Sylvia amplifies her own power slightly, in an attempt to make the Synch as easy as possible. Randy is looking uncomfortable - he’s not familiar with Psychic power, and is quite fine staying that way, thank-you-very-much.

One lowly officer does stop you - more out of following procedure than actually wanting to, from what your gut tells you - and after one doubletake as your considerable Identification and a awed/Intimidated look they let you go on your way and try to make themselves scarce and useful.
You know, now that you think about it, considering all the Status and Authority you were given you most likely outrank every officer here, including the chiefs. Only Dodger could really countermand you, and that's only in terms of the pure clout and POWER he has as one of Sutalor's top and more elite Independent Bounty Hunters. It was almost as if you were back to doing your job as a Ace Trainer of your League, only more so ...
For Randy and Sylvia, they don't find much on their own while they were sniffing out the scene, but then again they hadn't had much time to do so either or pull out some Psychic Tricks to enhace their search.
With everyone in agreement about a Synchronized Psychic Search - Rabsca indeed looks quite excited to do such work, in their own kinda Zen way - the two of the telekinetic mons begin... Meanwhile, Ceruledge stands guard, sweeping their gaze around the area, ready to intervene if any foul forces would dare cause further Misfortune and ruin NOW of all times...
Synchronized Psychic Search!
Slyvia will gives a + 3 Bonus to the Final Roll, and due to both Pokemon having Synchronized the Roll Results shall be Doubled!
INS (4) + Survival (3) + Alert (3) - Difficulty (5) = 5D6 Dice
(6)(3)(1)(2)(1) + 3. X 2 Blegh.
Well, thank goodness for Sylvia's help, for that Roll becomes 6 Success in total!
Initially, the coordinated sleuthing goes rather poorly, both because the two Pokemon's inexperience with using this method and the thoroughly confounding nature of the grim mystery. Just as the search was about to be called off the purple feline's gem lights up as they cross over a specific patch of ground. With a pulse of Psychic power from them it is revealed: a trail of foot prints, all of them glowing White in the Psychic Pokemon's vision as well as yours and Ceruledge's. The trail seemingly appeared right at that spot, as if out of thin air, before they lead all the way into the Pokemon Center. A shudder runs through both Mons as they become attuned with the etheral signiture of this Strange trail, and you can't help but feel a tremor of apprehension too - just what and who could create such an impression?
Ceruledge's Ghostly Vigilance
INS (4) + Fight (4) +Alert (3) + *2 (On Guard) - 5 (Big Commotion) = 8D6 Dice
(2)(2)(4)(6) (3)(6)(1)(2) 3 Successes
Your Sword of Malice doesn't Detect any nerdowells or similar, but does spot what appears to be a Murkrow perched in a tree nearby, adorned in all kind of shiny things and dodads, as per the usual habit and fashion of city fairing crows. From what your partner was able to tell they didn't seem hostile or suspicions, but was oddly still and....disquieted? Hmm...

With some quick coordinating and generous use of the local mapping app, you manage to meet up with your mentor at a Center near the bar you just visited. Pushing past the notably large and anxious crowd, you hardly have a second to look around before Aaron is upon you, gripping your shoulders with both hands and giving you a stressed, wide eyed look.
"Boy, there you are ! *Looks you over, and sighs with relief* Good, good, you're alright. Come, sit with me."
You two make your way over to an table he reserved earlier - perks of being a elderly trainer - and he collapses into his seat, gripping his can with enough force you can almost imagine the wood creaking.
"First that fiasco with you disappearing, then meeting with Bloody Witch Morrigan, and now this travesty. I knew Sutalor would be wild, but not like this.
*Sighs*
"Darron, I know you probably want to help out with this mess, but we're better off leaving it to the others to deal with. Something that big, that coordinated and done like a Ghost job...that's Ace Trainer Leagues right there, kiddo. Not something you can easily handle without me giving a heavy Helping Hand. We promised to help save this land, but remember - we're here first on foremost on personal business. We'll help however we can, but we got to mind out limits and keep our eye on the prize. *Scoffs* That, and Cynthia would have my ear for Quiver Dancing around something hot like this without extenuating circumstance - hell, she'd complained enough about me coming here with ya to begin with. I'm older than her, but she's more than a hard ass curmudgeon than I am, bah!"
Well, your teach gave his own take on the situation - Stay Out of It. What's your response?
Aaron can likely tell that Darren is mildly miffed. He does comply, however. "Fair, and you are right that I wanna do something."
Aaron lets out a tired * Sigh* at your peeved attitude, shaking his head.
"Gah, kid, I know you want to help - Arceas knows anyone with decency would too - but we can't be acting Recklessly here. Last thing we need is you getting in over your head in the chaos, or our League starting to breath down our necks for too much 'strong arming' and risking ourselves . Politcs, bah!"
Your mentor goes silent for a few minutes, thinking over what exactly you can do as he rubs his chin, before looking over to fix you in place with one of his patented 'Shut Up and Listen' stares.
"Very well, I got a couple of things you can do that shouldn't be too much. First, we can do some patrols around this Pokemon Center to help settle down these people's fears about the place being another target. If we Encounter anything nasty I'm taking charge and you'll be doing exactly what I say. Alternatively, you can organize a few Pokemon Battles here to help Train yourself and give everyone a distraction. You can handle this by yourself, and have permission to be as Flashly and dramatic as you want to be - heck, that might be preferred, given how jittery as a nervous Bug everyone is. Got to let them loose the energy somehow, and what better way that a good tussle?
"So, which one sounds better to you, boy?"

Vernon tries to get his hands on some caution tape and sail alongside the beach on Pwee's flat head, unspooling the caution tape as he goes and using Turtwig to cut it.
The officer gives you a nod, and hands you some papers that both detail your mission and act as written permissions for you to do it. You are also able to easily get caution tape and some signs upon asking for them, which gets a satisfied nod from them, please you thought of it and going a bit beyond what a usual Trainer might do.
Once you got done with prepping you meet up with the Life Guard, who was now decked out in a tough looking padded vest of sorts and baseball cap with emblazed with the logo of the Sutalorian Coast and Life Guards: a stylized Lapras with a stren gaze and a Blastoise sitting on its back, both wearing sailor hats.
"Hey, dude! Glad to have you working with me! Name's Shawn! You got any plans made already? *Hears them out, and Smiles* Great! Pretty much exactly I had in mind with my own team! *Smacks a fist into a open palm* Right, you take care of clearing out and locking down the section of the beach you were on earlier, and I'll handling getting out all the Tourists and beachgoers safe and sound. Let's get to it!"
We'll be dividing this Encounter into Three Portions: Munchlax's Search, Pwee's Patrolling the surf, and Vern's Beach Efforts. For Munch, his will be Insight + Survival + Alert Roll + Pick Up Bonus, with the results determining the outcome of his part of things. Pwee's will be a Fortune Roll - 2 for determining if anything good or bad happens as he does his ferrying.
For Vern , you get a choice of one of the following 4 Activities to focus on; these will take place after the prior two, so you have your Full Team for them (Ideally):
Pokemon Round Up and Out: Chase out an Random Pokemon that is causing a ruckus with all the frantic activity now stirring things up (Pokemon Encounter, Peaceful or Combat)
Search and Surprises: Help out a couple of beach goers find their missing property before escorting them out (Roll Based Encounter)
Cordoning and Demarcation: Set up 'No Trespassing' barriers and laying the ground work for properly closing off the beach (Open Ended Encounter)
Wayfarer's Whimsy: Let the pull of Fate and Destiny lead you to wear you are needed most (Fortune Roll, ???)
Which will it be?
(Also, what is your Fortune Score, mate? Been awhile since I've seen it, so...)

She just nod her head towards Seddi/@Dragonstrike and off she go to the closest officer. "Officer, I heard what happened, and I came here to help. I have medical abilities, and my Pokemon also have healing skills. Can I help?"
The officer at first looks skeptical of your claim, as would any decent government official would be without getting verification of some sort, but with a quick demonstration of your talents and name dropping Dodger you were quickly accepted and ushered over the medical tents. You were left with tall, reddish-pink hair doctor in blue-green medical scrubs, wearing both a face mask and glasses as he tiredly stared at you with reserved yet keen interest.
"Oz, correct? You may call me Dr. Peace. You're here to help with the treatment of the patients, yes? Considering you have no documentation pertaining to being part of the medical field I presume you're more of a 'hedge doctor' of sorts with your Pokemon? Hm....I suppose that will be enough, then. Desperate times accepts all, and we could use the support."
He motions to himself, giving you a look.
" First, a test: can you do anything about my mild exhaustion? I need to see how 'effective' your kind of healing is, as well as what approaches you have towards treating a patient."
