There are a few actions I can recommend:

First, is it at all possible to access the game's main (startup) menu? That is, is the game corrupted or is your save file corrupted? If you can access the main menu, try loading a new file and tell me what happens.

If you have the ability, hopping onto the discord (should be a link at the top of the forum page, click the big "Discord Partner" badge) would be beneficial. They're able to help you more efficiently and honestly more effectively.

Deleting your copy of Uranium and re-downloading it would fix a corrupted game engine, but not necessarily a corrupted save file. I think it is a good option though, and would fix a corrupted game engine.

If you do end up re-downloading, please keep an eye on files that the download "sticks" on or are caught by your computer's firewall or security systems. Files being quarantined may cause an issue.

Any more information you can provide (more detailed reports, error messages, or screenshots) would be helpful. I do hope we can get you sorted out and enjoying this game

This is all good advice. More advice:

Make sure your game is up to date. Recent updates have improved corruption-detection. The error you've described is a corrupted save, not a corrupted game.

You can try loading a backup save (the game creates one automatically) or an autosave. It'll probably work.
