[Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands
Oh, are Sylvia and Randy running into Professor Sada on their own time?  Lol.  That's very convenient.

Oh, that is quite all right. I actually have to be headed off to bed, so it’ll be ‘till the ‘morrow! :) g’night y’all

Huh, I didn't think of that, but now that you bring it up, yeah - I rule that Verdant Terrain to be the 'Get Out of Jail Free' Card for the Encounter, with the obvious cost being 'Iron Leaves Existence is Revealed in an Extremely Public and Violitile Situation' . Hell, Verdant Terrain alone would be a god sent to healing and/or stabilizing a bunch of Mons and People - you just have to be willing to give up relative Hidden existence for a much more public 'Heroic' one.

Veluza can cut into Juniper rather precisely, if you go with the 'Pump Out the Sludge' Route. Extra rations wouldn't hurt either for feeding some of the hungrier patients.

Oh boy, I love me a get out of jail free card (:  Seddi's bosses (and other important people) might not like this one though, so definitely a last resort if the other methods with the proper precautions aren't working out.  Pro is that Leaves would be a lot easier to use in public from that point onwards though, so yay I guess?  Dice are going to be deciding a lot for this encounter, methinks.

Veluza getting some non-combat action would be cool and useful!  Love getting to use moves and traits for roleplay applications.  Unrelated: I've also been thinking 'man, if someone had a Pyukumuku with Purify, that would also have solved most of our problems'.  But oh well! *shrugs*

*Shrugs* Such is the cost behind it - a guaranteed 'win' and basically major brownie points with the public and Sutalor Gov for future headaches and getting yelled at by your bosses. But let Seddi make his points and I'll Roll things out before we get too into the weeds on this, eh?

I want every Mon to be useful in and Out of Combat, and will try to work at that angle whenever possible. Sometimes a Mon might be less needed or 'right' for a situation, but a smart Trainer and their partners are never out of options for dealing with things!

Yeah, that is another Insta Win Option, but oh well, something to look into in the future.

You know, we now have the following patern of situation: Whatever moment Oz is in a tough spot, Seddi will appear out of thin air to help her. At this rate, we can call Seddi Batman heh.

Edit: Also, if someone call Oz Seddi Robin, I will punch the first person who say it.

Lol.  Completely unintentional, I can assure you. (:

Oz is definitely not a sidekick. Heck, Seddi's kinda in the sidekick position right now, provided he doesn't need to bring out Leaves to save the day.

Sorry, I didnt mean to sound mean or anything. I was just joking. Seddi is not a sidekick. He's been acting more as life saver in more than one ocasion, so no need minimize Seddi help mate!

Oh boy. To increase the chances of success I will sacrifice 18xp to increase my medicine from 3 to 4 and use a Will Point to increase my chances of success. I fear I will need each bonus and chance I have to boost Juniper chances of survive.

Wait, Persephone also have Lucky Chant. Maybe Hecate and Persephone combine could also help in the treatment due Luck Chant negate all "1"?

So be it! Oz's Medicine is now 4; Spend that Will Point to add + 1 Success to the Medicine Check Roll, whichever one it shall be! <- I'll transfer this Text over to my next post, whenever you make the Call - since this is your Encounter, you are the one that gets to call the shots at What Decisions are made, unless you want to hash it out with Dragonstrike.

So you have a base 12D6 + 1 Roll for Medicine; With Vel's help, that goes to 13, while Iron Leaves can give + 2 but runs some risks in doing so even without using Terrain (and especially so if she tries Draining). Dragonstrike has to sign off on her usage, however, since keeping them under wraps is a fairly big deal at this point in time and I'm not going to screw THAT up.

*Smiles* Why yes, yes she does. That would nicely eliminate the 'Death' Option from a Neg Roll too, though the outcome of that would still be Bad. Her Super Luck also can help, if she takes a more direct part in the procedure. Her Moveset may help in that regard, as with the rest of your Mons - think it over, yeah?

Keep in mind that Lucky Chant modifies Fortune too, and its Effects applies to All Allies. If you Modify it Up more Positive Outcomes are more likely but you invite Miss Fortune into things more readily; if you modify it Down then their is less likely to be Bad Luck or Strangeness but miracles are diminished as well.
