Everyone has been pretty busy lately, or so it seems to me. Part of the reason why I didn’t push for the game to continue was to give everyone a break to do their own thing, so if anyone wants a reason for the absence of posts, we’ll there it is! I’d like to get back to progressing things within a week or so, but until then I see no reason to rush things.

How was the trip , by the way? Got any neat stories to share, or maybe even pics of things the caught your eye? Also, artfight? What that?

Its been good taking a little break from the campaigh. Enjoying some relax vacation. Helping a friend test their rpg system. Playing some Vampire Dark Ages, enjoying some Divinity Original Sin 2, and DMing my Pathfinder 2e campaigh. Been crazy.
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.

AAAAAAAA Windos-dear, I've missed you a lot and been thinking of you more times that I could count!~ (⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄) *proceeds to meekly glomp and hug you, offering kissus and a whole package of high-quality cookies*

Good choice to take a break, for your and our sake! Trip was...exhauting and the overstimulation was real, but it was 110%ly worth it due to all the great artworks and stuff to see+buy, the Japanese snacks + food to eat in town and it's nice to see and meet the faces behind some artists I follow online! I do have some pictures, will share some here later once I've sorted these properly. I'm not the best at explaining, but Artfight is basically an anual game of art-trading held on it's own website (more detailed explanation: https://artfight.net/info/about) I haven't participated last year due to mental exhaution and job's being quite busy, but I do want to get at least some artworks done this year, mostly of people from Bailey's uranium-themed Creator's Collective discord!

*Warmly twirls you around and gives you snuggly hug back* And it is good to have you again, dear Phantom. Party isn't complete without that star, after all !

I really do need to go to a convention some time, 'cause it sounds like you REALLY enjoyed yourself if you could overcome the sheer mental pressure those events Hard Press down on your psyche like an overweight Snorlax! Eagerly await your photos, but take your time sorting them out!

Huh, Artfight sounds right up your ally! Wish I was a bit more talented with drawing 'cause I'd help you out, but I'll have to settle being a amatuer writer for the time being. Perhaps if I practiced hard enough I could become skilled, but I know where my interests ultimately lay - the written word and creating world to explore.

So, images and photos! Contrary to last year I didn't actually took that many though. Don't know why actually.

First, a special mention needs the food in town! Man, it was absolutely nice to feast on so many Japanese treats in the town's own Japanese district once again. From Onigiri, Taiyaki, Melonpan and Matcha Cake, everything was so neat and yummy... I don't enjoy raw fish nor fish in general, so vegtable sushi was it. Miso-Ramen with egg and nori at my favorite ramen-restaurant my utterly beloved though... Every bite and sip was simply so...good... <3

One store I've been at had real durian for sale, the real and whole fruit. I 've never seen these irl and didn't know they were that huge, so that was quite the fascinating discovery in my book. They're only stinky if cut open, so all's well on that end.

Onwards to the convention itself, despite how crowded it was - the later the day/the closer the con was to closing time, the less people were around though, good for me who stayed until closing time - it was absolutely great to see so many various art styles on the prints and other stuff artists sold at their own booth! I got to speak with some artists that I'm somewhat familiar with via the internet, aka follow them online, it as neat to see the face and person behind great art (yeah, despite how incredibly shy I am, I tried to act brave and talk and tell how I admire their works). I did not buy thaaat much, mostly smaller things like stickers and enamel pins, BUT among the few prints I got myself for my ever-growing art collection these are my favorite pieces:
(left to right: Dark-Type Hatsune Miku from the Project-Voltage-collab, Ghost-Type Muki from the same collab, biblically accurate cat-angel)
(smol funfact, my mind's first impression to that artwork of Dark-Type Miku was '????? Morgana, is that you? Because same vibes here???' Regardless though I adore the rendering and lighting there so sooo much, in general I'm a big fan of that collaboration of Miku and Pokemon, love the various Type's design and matching songs)

More things's I've gotten myself following!
(left to right: DnD-themed stickers tha I just HAD to get; a Tshirt that is a whole mood because art is my vessel to channel emotions, including anger and frustration over people; enamel pins themed around the star-crossed-lovers-trope of which I'm a fan of)

Now for what was not to nice during the trip was that

1. I have barely slept during these days despite I was exhausted... I WAS exhausted physically and mentally at the end of each day and was glad as heck to be able to rest once having arrived back at my booked hotel room, but actual sleep... That somehow didn't work, I did sleep but it never felt restful enough. Good that I am able able to catch up on sleep now at last, much needed.

2. I lost my ID-Card at some point during the last day of the trip. It must have been near the closing time of the convention, while the crowds headed towards the nearby tram station. Already sent a mail towards the staff asking whether they have found it somehow before I get a new one, response pending. Shouldn't be to hard to identify it's my card since it has my name on it.

That's all for now! Sorry for the mild spam (>//< )

You're great and awesome at writing and creating worlds to explore, and that is just one aspect I do love about you.

Tournament prep on a cobblemon server (I'll be using sand) and some pretty cool school events for me. School will be over in 2 weeks though so that's nice

Glad to hear everyone's been enjoying the impromptu break (:

I'm still grinding away in Monster Hunter Stories.  I've started killing Elder Dragons, so now I'm trying to better streamline those battles and prepare for the difficult endgame challenges in my quest for 100% completion!

Probably gonna move on to Luigi's Mansion 2 HD after I (eventually) beat Stories, since it's a shorter game I know really well.  Helldivers 2 just got more content too though and I still need to start Shadow of the Erdtree...aaaaaa, too many games to play right now!

I do have a draft partially typed up for my next post here, so should be able to resume posting whenever I can tear myself away from the super grindy games.
