Let's do a minor encounter after Darren finishes collecting Vibrava's booty
The newly named Solena perks up and does a little dance, VERY pleased with your choice. Chloe simply crosses her arms and lets out a huff, jealous and envious as ever.

You elect to simply spend some time enjoying some surf and sand with your Bugs, setting up shop in a not TOO crowded part of the beach to do whatever your want to your heart's content, Be It Training, Bonding, or doing some goofy hijinks and have fun doing so. You also see what looks to be a lil girl in a pink sundress and beach hat, looking very confused and quite lost as she looked around with a airy, spacy expression - feeling like investigating instead?

Oz was trembling and crying like never before. She is probably just Dite would be in her place. All the years of neglecting, suffering, anguish, nightmares…ALL returning at the same time. Oz is her weakest state, her most emotional vulnerability in her entire life. She thought she had surpassed all of that pain…But it seems her soul is still shattered and broken like a vitriol. Its like a black ocean of pain and sadness, dangerously close to consuming her whole.
Despite a deplorable situation, she expected to Seddi hate her, even knowing a little better Seddi chivalry spirit, she wanted Seddi to hate her. Even now, she wanted and craved heaven's judgment upon her, for what she did and let happen to the point who trusted her: Her friends who died because of her hubris and who she unfairly repaid their loyalty with death. The dead she used as means of survival. Her own people she left behind due to her inability to cope with her failures at the time.
She wanted judgment. She wanted to be accused, to be called a traitor, because she felt undeserving of love and friendship.
But then…A hand on Oz's shoulder.
She slowly lift her face, still in a haze of sadness and self hatred. That feeling of…understanding. Of…Caring…Of…human connection.
It was such a simple action…But…It was enough to let some of Isobell pain go away, even if it was just a little.
She hugged Seddi, and cried on his chest. Wanting more than anything in her life…just…let it go. Put all the pain away from her heart. To finally let years and years of anguish, guilt and despair out of her wounded heart. To finally be free of all.
She cried and cried. Letting out sobs and tears coming through her eyes. She hasn't cried like this since 10 years ago.
With Seddi words, she lifts her face from the ground, and look at him, curious and still crying.
Seddi returns that hug, not saying anything. He's just simply being there, because someone needs to be there for her.
And that's what friends are for, right?
Before Seddi starts his story, he'll summon Kusanagi from her pokeball. "I know that last time we spoke it was a little frosty between us, Kusanagi, but I thought you'd want to hear this story as well. You remember what I told you when we first met, I'm sure. Well, it's time for that story. My translator is unfortunately not able to translate for you right now, so if you want to discuss it, it will have to be later unfortunately."
And then, he begins.
Music: Cascaraffa - Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
"My story begins in Paldea's Asado Desert, in a city where all the streets and roofing is paved in blue. Somethin' one of the city's previous gym leaders thought would be good for the city's image, as it's built in the middle of an oasis. It's only the third largest settlement in the region, but it's a bustling trade hub due to its proximity to Porto Marinada, a port town with a famous auction house as its centerpiece. And it makes that region a hotspot both for tourists and for enterprisin' folks of all kinds."
Seddi's Theme: Yotabu's Theme - Histrobea Chronicles
"I count you luckier than me in some ways, Oz. I grew up an orphan, with no family to speak of. A street rat that nobody seemed to have wanted. I have no memory of anythin' before waking up in a dark alleyway in one of the most beautiful cities in Paldea. There were no expectations on me, but also no guidance. I was well and truly alone.
"It didn't take me long to find a soul in a similar situation to mine. On the city's outskirts, I met a lone Charcadet that seemingly had no friends either, and the two of us vowed that day to stand by each others' sides, no matter what came.
"Charcadet and I stalked the alleys of the city for years, doing whatever we needed to survive. Eventually, we got picked up by a local gang, and they gave us shelter and supplies in exchange for training us in their work. Real opportunists, those folks. But also many who were down on their luck and had no other place to go. Made a few friends there, and got two more pokemon partners with their help and the supplies that we were provided by our benefactors.
"The real turnin' point though was when the gang that picked me up finally decided it was time for me to earn my keep, around the time I turned 16 if I remember rightly. The first job was simple. Break into a wealthy collector's house and steal a particular item of value for a client. In and out. What I didn't anticipate was what we'd find there, as we weren't actually told what specifically we were looking for. Only that it would be obvious when we saw it.
"We found two sets of armor, two items of particular importance for any Charcadet. One set of golden Auspicious Armor, and a set of dark Malicious Armor. They may or may not have been the items we were after, but they drew Charcadet's interest all the same. Lookin' back on it, I have to wonder if the client knew I had a Charcadet as my partner, and specifically picked us to do that job because of that."
Ceruledge's blades and eyes suddenly flare. She isn't bothering to hide that she's angry. Angry at what happened. Seddi pauses and puts a hand on his partner's armored shoulder, and she calms down, taking deep breaths as she cools her flames.
"We screwed up. Got too greedy. Too ambitious. One of us did something that alerted the collection's owner that thieves were after his things. It didn't take long for him to show up while we were tryin' to loot the armors. And he wasn't happy to see thieves in his home."
B A N G
(Music stops)
The sound still reverberates in both their memories to this day. That fateful night, when everything changed...
"...he owned a firearm, and he brought it with him to that room. He didn't hesitate, and he fired at the easiest target he could see.
Charcadet, her fiery plume illuminating the space around her, the light reflecting off of the two armors in their display cases.
"She flew backwards from the force of the projectile hitting her directly, and collided with one of the armors. She was enveloped in the bright light of evolution, while I panicked and grabbed the nearest weapon I could find in the darkness. And then..."
S T A B
"...a struggle ensued. Next thing I knew, the collector was dead at my feet, and Charcadet had evolved into Ceruledge. A cruel, cruel irony, for she would have much preferred to evolve into an Armarogue. But the deeds were done. We had one of the armors, technically speakin'. And I'd just killed a man with a blade from his own collection of priceless artifacts. Also quite ironic.
"So, we ran. We ran and we ran and we ran. But we forgot one thing.
"We'd left evidence. And with evidence, came justice. Sooner rather than later. That's the story of how I was incarcerated, convicted of both murder and larceny. It didn't matter that I killed in self defense. I was a thief, so murder was just the cherry on top that sealed my fate.
"My pokemon partners were all confiscated, and I was jailed with a rather lengthy sentence. I learned later that my partners were sent to a rehoming facility, and I was thankful that they at least had managed to escape being punished severely. But again, I was alone. Alone, and with nobody to look out for me anymore."
"There's a sayin' among the folks in the criminal underground of western Paldea: not all the streets in Cascaraffa are paved blue. That day, I learned first hand what that sayin' meant. Sometimes, they're as black as the people who walk them. Others, they run red with blood. As nice a place as it looks, if you go lookin' for trouble, you'll find it in spades."
The entire time Seddi is telling this story, he keeps the details very matter of fact. There's almost no hint of emotion from him that hints what he might think of the events he just described.
Of course, the story doesn't end there. Ceruledge obviously wasn't rehomed, as she's standing right there with Seddi. And Seddi obviously got out of jail somehow.
He lets the question of what came next hang for a moment, watching Oz and Kusanagi to see how they react to this first part of his origin story. It's not every day that someone tells you they're a convicted felon, after all.

Your blind swordswoman was indeed not exactly in the greatest mood when Summoned, her eyeless gaze and nasty scowl doing a remarkably good job conveying how truly vexed she was, even after sleeping almost the entirety of yesterday and trying to meditate it away. Seems like she is one to hold her resentments and nurses them like the finest wine imaginable - fitting, for a bitter old warrior like herself that has been through hell.
Three things stopped her from returning to her Ball - or worse, make good on her previous threats:
1) Both Ceruledge and Glinda rising up, ready to intercept and defend you as necessary. The later gets a downright murderous * Snarl* and a bladed arm pointed at her immediately suddenly forgetting about you and your Blade of Malice for the moment. Considering they've implied quite a bit about their Involvement in Unova's Shadowy Revolution, you have sinking suspicion she had gained more than her Type's typical hatred of the Fae.
Miraculously, however, the Sidhe Sister of Oz was able to quite calmly and eloquently explain their presence - though not without a lot of threats and posturing from Kusinagi. A stare off ensued for a brief stint, before your old otter scoffed and back down, much to the relief of every Mon in the Room. Dite, if she was not already terrorized enough, more or less Fainted when she got focused on by your Old Blade and a what sounded like a rather foul threat. Omph.
Glinda offered to translate Kusi for you, but was flatly denied by said swordswoman - from what you got and Feel from your Bond is that they didn't trust the Good Witch in the slightest. She also had little sympathy or empathy for Oz, from what you could tell - though whether that be from apathy or disdain with their overall fearfulness and 'meaningless' self-loathing about it you're not certain of. The most you got out of the was a grunt of acknowledgement and a bland, neutral frown and bark at Oz, which drew QUITE a bit of ire from Oz' Mons (ESPECIALLY Fortuna, who looked ready to find a way to claw their eyes out AGAIN).
2) Kusanagi was indeed interested enough to hear Your Tale of Origins, cocking her head at you like a Yamper looking at a treat and wondering how to get at it.
3) She promptly raided the mini-bar for what looked like a bottle of scotch and a big saucer to which to get properly sauced - how they managed that feat blind you're not sure. Maybe practice or those super sharp senses of hers?
Throughout the story your scarred lady just silently drinks, her sheer presence and air of aloof interest causing no end of stress for the rest of the Mons and no small amount of ire from your spectral mistress, who was making an admirable effort to grind her teeth despite lacking a proper set, sword arms twitching with barely restrained Ir. This....this....old bitch DARE treat her Master's sordid past....her sibling in all but blood, like it was some drama to savor? By Giratina she out to flay and fry them ALIVE....!
As you got to the part about the murder Kusanagi slowly started to grin, leaning forward as you told of your almost grisly demise, which only served to piss off everyone in the room even more BUT Glinda (who seemed....pensive) and Bethy (who was starting to enjoy the drama generated by the old warrior). By the end she let out a barking, sardonic, and quite clearly mocking laugh -
- That was promptly meet with Ceruledge leaping forward to slice at them with the most Bitterest Blade you've seen so far, pure righteous RAGE and unquenched MALICE dancing in her fucking angry eyes
That was promptly, casually, easily held in place by the Blade of Glory, her free sword arm lazily stretched out to keep your oldest partner at bay. No sign of Move Energy - this was pure technique and inherent *grit* that keep the Bitterest Blade from gain any ground or purchase. A savage, gleefully challenging grin was on her face as she continued to sip on her drink, not at all feeling the least threatened or contrite by whipping up your First Blade into a near-frothy state of incandescent RAGE.
"Samerott? Samerott. *Shakes head, smirking* Sam sam samurott..."
From the way Ceruledge seemed to grow even angrier SOMEHOW....you have a feeling they just Taunted them.
You have a strong feeling someone is going to be screaming bloody murder if something isn't done to stop this quick.

Vernax's first priority is to check on poor shriveled Munchlax, the Pokemon line he's always been drawn to because the last syllable of their name is the same. It's possible he may never evolve at all now, since only a very happy Munchlax can evolve, and if he does evolve, Vernax wonders if he'll be skeletal still? Whoever heard of a skinny Snorlax? But Vernax won't abandon him. He's determined to try and make Munchlax - Famine, as he'll be known henceforth - as happy as possible, and give him the best chance of evolving possible. Vernax is relieved to see Famine hasn't permanently dampened his spirits, though it does make Vernax a little sick to look at him and know the forces of his own fate are the reason for Famine's fate.
(Did Munchlax Pickup anything besides a horrid disease? I feel the little guy deserves something waggish stolen from the insane contest)
Instead of trying out the new Transportation pokemon - which Vernax feels will probably be a "fair" trade from a certain hellish perspective - Famine is taken around the various markets of the Festival or department store. They'll be picking up any items that will help boost his Happiness, and Vernax will turn a blind eye to any minor thieving Famine does (only things no one will miss. Petty things. Anything bigger, Vernax will pay for in secret or return). One priority is finding a Luxury Ball, assuming a transfer is possible. Maybe they'll even be 25% off = 750$. Vern doesn't want a Soothe Bell as he knows the Heavy Duty Boots make Famine happy - they're even more comical now since Munchlax is skinnier. They'll definitely pick up some healthy and tasty meals like protein shakes, since every calorie counts now. Maybe a Razz-Leppa Espresso if it smells nice.

They're not so much shriveled after getting medical treatment and IV Fluids to cure their acute cause of starvation/Energy Exhaustion from Summoning/Keeping the Beliaddon there. Instead, they look more like a willowy gnome rather than the rotund dwarf they once were. A stark change, but the most important thing was they seemed Happy as ever. Indeed, despite the radical changes they went through - which amounts to becoming basically a Anti-Munchlax (Munchlax-less?) - they seemed chipper as ever, with their previous appetite that dominated a lot of their behavior replaced with a almost zen-like state, not unlike some Sinnish Monks you've met in the past.
If asked about what they think of losing their Appetitie and the Transformation they went through, though, they do express a bit of melancholy. Not having the desire or capacity to truly Pignite out surely kills their previous favorite past time, as well as a common point of Bonding with Pwee. However, they seemed more concerned with comforting you, patting you on the knee in a 'there there' gesture. What happened was not fine, but it'll be okay. Both of you will find new ways to enjoy life to the fullest, they sincerely believe.
Oh yes. Almost forgot about that.
Famine serenely pulls out....what appeared to be a Orb of Pure Hellfire. Was this also given, in exchange for their Transformation? Or did this little fellow manage to do some Dealing of his own with the last bits of Metronome Power they once had? A mystery for the ages....
Hellfire Orb Obtained - Inflict Burn 3 IMMEDIATELY on user and take Burn 3 Damage at Round Start and End (Roll For It), but change the ' + ' into a ' x ' for Fire Type Moves (Subtract Attributes first). If used by a Demon, Infernal/Demonic Pokemon, or a Fire Type, though, it instead 'simply' grants 3D6 Chance to inflict Burn 3 on a Target, which also doubles the damage of said Move and immediately procs Burn 3 Damage. Unique Item. Increases Disobedience of Non-Themed Mons by 2 if held unless at 4 or Higher Loyalty or at 4 Disobedience; Themed Mons instead gain + 1 Loyalty and Happiness while holding it.
Your slim bear seems more than willing to indulge your shopping spree, joyfully humming a tune while prancing around the market, attracting various looks of disbelief, astonishment, and no small amount of concern from those savy about what a proper Munch was supposed to look like. You're indeed able to get a Luxury Ball for $750 after some rather strong bargaining that left the seller rather impressed and nervous, and the transfer went smooth as butter, resulting in a rather blissed out hug monster once you reSummon them after a period of adjustment.
As it turns out it seems like Protein Shakes/Healthy Food was the exception to the newfound lack of appetite , as Famine thoroughly enjoyed indulging in this newfound yet found old passion. It ended up racking up a $1000 Poke and nearly getting you kicked out of the healthy food/'gym bro' store, but the sheer glimmering eye delight from your lil partner made it well worth it. + 1 Happiness, Loop Hole Found!
If you want the premium Koffee getting a couple of cups is trivial - especially once you explain a little bit about the, ah, trouble that caused your twos Exhaustion and somewhat haggered appearances.

Seddi walks up to the two and directly inserts himself between them. No. Hesitation.
And they both get a scolding from him.
Foolish or brave? Probably both. But Seddi hasn't gotten to where he is without taking a few risks, and he's not about to stop now.
"Ceruledge, you know better than that. You know I'll handle it. Simmer. Down."
Taunt or no Taunt, she won't attack Kusanagi. Not with him getting in the way.
The old samurott is a different story, but not one he thinks he can't handle.
"Kusanagi, I would strongly advise that you don't antagonize Ceruledge intentionally. We still have a deal, after all. And you're gonna have to work with my partners in the future as a part of that deal."
A pause as he stares down the old otter. Until he breaks the silence one more time.
"And no, I don't regret what I did. Just in case you were wonderin'. Anyways, that's the end of the interestin' part, unless ya want to stick around for the sappier second half."

Your Sword of Malice immediately is ashamed and horrified at your rather direct scolding, disengaging from the most infuriating Mon she ever meet to look at you with bashful contrition, tapping both her flaming arms together and bowing her head. Make no mistake, though - she is still extremely FURIOUS at the callousness and simply disrespectful attitude of the bitter old otter. HOWEVER, her Bond, History, and sheer Trust in you is so strong as to neatly check her nastier impulses and inherent nature.
Plus, you're her Big Brother. If she isn't willing to listen to you then the world was truly ending.
You get a slightly surprised reaction from the Blade of Glory that almost became a scoff....until you said that. Kusanagi cut herself off, lowering her saucer of whisky to 'look' at you....before cracking an approving smirk and simply nodding, settling down and back into their former 'enlightened' aloofness. Though difficult to really understand this veteran of a conflict to end all conflicts, you get the feeling she's willing to relax after you proved your muster once more.
Though it got you wondering....was the previous scene just something that happened, or was it a calculated ploy by the old Samurott to gain further Insight into her - hopefully - Final Wielder?

Probably won't bring up the whole demon thing... the line will be just "a Metronome gone wrong" with no further explanation.
Seems like that would be a pretty long day so far, I think the party will simply rest and eat, mostly. If I have any encounters left I'll just continue to abuse Pickup with them in safe areas.

"Thank you. We will talk about this more later, Kusanagi."
He sighs in relief, takes off his hat, and bows to Oz (@ Spiritmon) and her pokemon. "Apologies to y'all. I was not intendin' to set up that kind of a scene. The second half of my tale is much more tame, I can assure you." It's almost like a switch has been flipped on and then back off with how quickly and comfortably the cowboy transitioned between firm discipline and polite courtesy.

Seems like that would be a pretty long day so far, I think the party will simply rest and eat, mostly. If I have any encounters left I'll just continue to abuse Pickup with them in safe areas.
In that case, you last remaining Encounter for the day (A Moderate Slot) will be treated as an Extended Rest and Relaxation Bonding Session with all your Mons. Both you and Famine will gain + 1 Will for it by default, but if you have any Mons to focus on or particular ideas for how you think a BIG respite would go then by all means.

Or rather, someone - a rather tiny little Pure White Stunky, who was lured to your big picnic party and general exploration with some clever treats left out by said bear. They looked Skittish, but bold enough to try and sneak around to get at unguarded supplies and scope out the situation. A unthinkable thing for Famine to do prior to his Change, but now since he's less hungry for Non-Health Foods he might as well use his old snack supply to attract potential friends or Catches for you!
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
