I only have enough room to spare in Seddi's party for two pokemon (considering that Seddi is assuming he might need to prepare for a struggle of some kind if things go badly), and I think the Tailwind and Teleport are probably more potent here for faster arrival/departure.

I like the mechanic that someone who is out of encounter slots still gets to participate in the shock of the scene - they are just essentially Diceless. Vern gets to show how powerful the enemy is xD
