[Game Thread] Lord Windos’ PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands

Oh, after having rushed to the Center the others and Oz are (with the same speed as previously), Bernhard definitely wishes to stay with Darren, watching over him if he is allowed to. And just in case, he also requests a mild sedative to calm his own nerves. He's...not really up to talk, but will provide answers if questioned (aside from the question why he fled, he'll sidestep these by saying that he has his reasons).

Aaand his current Held Item is his remaining unit of Kitsune Crimson Rope. Got to remember to work/weave it into his robe later on to make it a powerful  protective piece, if that Flutter Mane's staying in the party(??!!!)

Gonna bullet point a good chunk of this since there's a lot going on in a short span of time.

- Seddi does not respond to Kusanagi's expletive.  He simply teleports away with everyone else.  He doesn't have the time to worry about Kusanagi Disobeying right now.  What he thinks of her Disobedience, she will have to find out later if she survives.

- Upon arriving at the Center, he quickly explains what happened to Darren when he hands the bug specialist over to the nurses, and that they should be expecting another individual who had to run away on pokemon back soon.  He did not know that Darren had acquired a Female Smore and some Royal Jelly, nor that it had been critically injured by the Flutter Mane, so seeing that was both surprising and worrying on multiple levels.  Darren, what the heck are you doing, capturing all these crazy powerful pokemon...?

- Glinda and Fortuna are returned to Oz when she's free.  Seddi thanks them for their excellent assistance, and Oz for her quick thinking.  He wouldn't have gotten there in time and gotten Darren and Akamu out without them.

- He also flashes his credentials as a temporary Peacekeeper of Bayahama and a Paldean Researcher to take temporary custody of the Flutter Mane's pokeball.  It may have Darren's OT, but someone with experience needs to make sure that thing behaves itself and doesn't try to break out of its ball to wreak even more havoc.

- He contacts Professor Sada, explaining that Darren caught a Flutter Mane and that it's currently in the cowboy's custody, as the Bug type trainer is currently in the ICU.  He sends her his location so she can meet up with him if needed.

- He hangs around the Center's lobby for awhile, as he's waiting for Akamu to show back up, and someone needs to also tell Aaron what just happened to Darren whenever he comes looking for his pupil.  (OOC: I forget if Aaron gave Seddi his number when Darren did, but Seddi would contact Aaron directly and tell him to come to the Center if so)

- When Akamu and Kusanagi finally show up, the cowboy quickly ushers the Alolan inside, then turns to the old Samurott once he's sure the nurses have got it from there.  There's not much indicating what he thinks of the Samurott's behavior yet.  "Well, what's the situation, Kusanagi?  Is it dealt with?"

Edit: When Bernhard shows up, Seddi just gives the mage a rather scrutinizing look before resuming his vigil. Doesn't say anything immediately, and it's practically impossible to tell what the cowboy is thinking right then. He will tell Bernhard where Akamu (whether he's arrived or not) and Darren are if asked though.

Oz was waiting for them to come. After a long while, she heard commotion inside the Pokemon Center, and then heard a voice behind her. She was glad to see Glinda and Fortuna coming with her. She ran towards them and gave them both a big hug. “You two are back! I was extremely worried about something terrible happening! I…” Then she sees Seddi thanking them and then she responds to him. “It was nothing really. I just wish I was there to help you guys. Truly. But I was glad that me and my sisters were able to help you in some way.”

Then I imagined Seddi informed Oz about everyone's situation, and her face turned to a more serious face. She nods at Seddi and tells him. “*Sigh*, I will go there and see if there is something I can do to help. I promise we will have time to talk later, Seddi.”


@Lord Windos Is there something Oz can help the Nurses in anything? She tell them she have medical knowledge and might help with something with them.

Darren is woozy throughout the fight and is in and out of consciousness, once they get to the Pokemon Center, as he is carted off into the ICU, a single textbook falls out of his bag, open.

Seddi will pick that book up and look at the name, curious.  Hmmmm...why does that name sound familiar...?

Well, that's a question for a little later.  He can ask Darren and Aaron about it when he returns the book to the bug catcher.  Looks like it might be important to the boy.

Oh boy, I LOVE going through Da Bullet Points!

- Normally I would say that Seddi wouldn't recognize Royal Jelly of the top of his head, since he's neither a Native Tandorian, a proper Researcher, OR a Bug Ethusiast like Darron, but even with his Limited INS he can put two and two together once he sees the unusually LARGE and Mature Smore that is still clutching the RJ rather possessively, even when Fainted. The Nurses are understandably scared shitless about what you shared, but they didn't let it stop them from giving Darren and his adorable ant the best treatment they can get. Heck, they get Elite Deluxe VIP Treatment since, regardless of what they did was FUCKING MORONIC, they did help catch and Contain the Flutter Mane that has been terrorizing the city.

- Linking into that: Once Seddi is able to Confirm that the Flutter Mane has been successful Contained (using his own Legal Powers, + maybe Bern sending his own confirmation), EVERYONE that participated in said Situation gets $10000 Poke, while Oz and Vernax get $5000 each for their own contributions. The Bounty on Containing the Flutter Mane was $50000; if Darren had actually managed to somehow limp out of the Hidden Ring with his 'prize' he'd would've been able to claim it all for himself. Alas he didn't, so his rescuers and relief team gets their share of the profits.

- Glinda is rather surprised you're not angry at her for essentially kidnapping you away from Kusi, but if you're not making a fuss out of it then she isn't either.

- Continuing off from Confirming the Containment of Flutter Mane, the Nurses and a Ranger grimace but quickly assent to your request to temporarily detain FM from Darren. 

...But when you try to put your hand on it -

- you stagger away, vomiting up a rank gooey glob that is pitch purple and pink, which REEKS of Cursed Ghost-Fairy Energy. You had to be held up by a Nurse for a moment to recover, and you could feel Iron Leaves alarm, ready to burst out of her Ball to aid you, secrecy be damned. You take 1 More Than Lethal Damage for trying to Take Away FM from Darren.

- You try calling the Professor....only to get sent straight to Voice Mail. Then, a minute later, you get this text:

[Seddi, I am currently occupied myself at the moment resolving this: somebody tried to break into the IC and GTS to sabotage it again. Unfortunately for them I was there fixing them. They have been dealt with. Unfortunately they committed suicide rather than be detained, and their Pokemon subsequently went brain dead - I suspect a psychic link facilitated that. -Aaron would end up contacted anyway, since Darron has them listed as their Primary Contact for Medical Emergencies, but he also can't come either, for some madman just so happened to try and kidnap the people of the Center he was aiding and working at. He's fine - the ones who did it are not. However, they opted to....disintegrate themselves with personal explosives when defeated; nothing of them remains, and Aaron got critically injured but is still alive from the blast. From what he later texts to the group, though, is that they looked like a cross between midevil paladins and clergymen, and they looked VERY surprised that Aaron was both there and salient enough to Resist....whatever they were doing to Bewitch the Center.

For the Time Being, Aaron is too Out of Action. Mentor like Mentee, eh?

- Kusangai just....sighs and shakes their head. Then....

"S-s-s - no. M-m-monster.....r-r-rworse."

The Old Blade of Glory spat that in Common to you, though it was....rather poor, gravely, and tinged with their 'native' tongue. From the flash of Pain on their face....that small effort alone was NOT easy or comfortable.

- Though you don't see them, you can FEEL Muse settle right down on your shoulder; looking over would reveal nothing. They're Invisible.

"*Sighs* Sorry about Bernhard....abandoning you. I'll be speaking to him about that. But please....don't be too harsh on them. They're...we're just not used to working with others. Equals. It's...been a long time for us, and our life....didn't allow for such jolly cooperation. *Snorts* Well, until recently. *Sighs harder* ...If you have any requests, I'll try to fulfil them. Won't really make up for what my Partner did, but..."

She falls silent, but you get the sentiment she's trying to share: I want to do right by you still. The lil' artist waits to here your reply (if any), before you feel her leave; going back to the wizard, no doubt.

Both of your sisters return your hug, with shuddering and eagerness from Fortuna (Oh what a RIGHT mess that was!) and calm composure from Glinda. They're fine from the ordeal, brief and small as their involvement in it was.

You can indeed help with the Nurse! You'll have to take it easy (No XP or Magic), but with your Sisters help (Glinda in particular) you're able to give advice and help oversee Darren's/Solana's Condition. Glinda is the first one to Take Note of the More Than Lethal Damage the fire ant has, and you're quick to Notice it too once she points it out - your Soul Bond makes such Damage stick out to you like a sore thumb. All this help ALSO boosts your rep with the Nurses and Doctors (Bayhama), though only by so much.

Given your Status, the Nurses are more than willing to let you watch over Darren, and they're quick to take Nirix for healing (will take a little bit, but will be ready soon). You're not given a sedative, however, since they don't have any that can be appropriately given for your level of anxiety or without a prescription (Sorry, but these Nurses are Professionals even through Scimitar Love). Once you make clear your desire to NOT speak about things the staff and Law leave you be, not wanting to Disturb the Moody/Anxious Wizard and also respecting your Right of Privacy/Status as a Scimitar.

However, their is ONE individual that isn't afraid to give you a piece of your mind.

You can feel Zephy - still Invisible - floating in front of you, having just come back to have what you think was a quick chat with Seddi. She doesn't say anything yet, but you can feel her immense disappointment and can almost image her crossed arms and stern frown.

You eventually land well outside of the Hidden Ring and right back on the Beach proper, though still near where the 'wild' area and sand dunes/pits where.

Then, minutes later, you see a MASSIVE ..... CREATURE rise from where you're comrades were.

You couldn't get a good look at it, but....just seeing it made you feel full of H A T E , fear, and DEEPLY uncomfortable.

It stood still in the distance for a minute...

....Then it slowly made its way over.

Away from you, but still towards the Beach FULL of Tourists, Settlers, and others that were looking for a good time and were no instead in for a Bad One.

**Suddenly, you feel a SURGE Of Energy. As if this Situation, grim and horrible as it has become, has given you a Second Wind of Sorts**

Oz did take it easy. Her body still hasn't recovered from the events of yesterday, but she is trying her best. She noticed how deep the lethal damage was from Solana.

Oz will also make a deep analysis of Darren's body. Check everything in his body to see if he is okay or if he is in a weird condition. Due to being a medical but also an ex-Scimitar, I imagined Oz did study a bit about magical curses or magical ailments? Since I imagined after she became a Purifier Evoker, she must have studied something related to that. Did Seddi inform of Darren condition of almost death and return with the bug traits? Maybe Glinda could help since she has the Spirit Sense and Afterlife/The Dead Specialties? Oz will try to analyze his situation to have a diagnosis of his situation. In Oz case what would be the roll? The other type of Healing Oz have? The ??? Healing?
