[Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands

I would let Akamu go with Bern but he doesnt really like hail. If aurora veil stays even if hail is removed however he would have an option hmmm.

(He could set up rain both to mitigate the damage and maybe assist the water scim

It does stay up, but Weather can't be removed easily once Set, and Changing Weather can still lead to Interactions between the two. So anyone that wants to join Bern better have Hail mitigation measures or are just tough enough to handle it.

Non one said I HAVE to set up Hail Weather and Aurora Veil - Not right away, that is. I do not plan to outright start with Hail/Zephy (for now), but if you could set up rain to aid Citrine - that could indeed be helpful. The downside is that my Ninetails will be debuffed by that, but I can always go *snap* and have Drought triggered? It will still interact with the Veil in unknown ways though.

Hmm, okay, I think that's the Group I desire to go after with Bern, Citrine, Ralice and who of you people ends up with me then, please. They need to be taken out fast and swiftly, and I thiiiiiink I should be able to do that.

A thought/an idea that came to me that I wanted to pinpoint before I'll be off to catch Zs: How much sense would it make if me and Seddi aka @Dragonstrike take out this group together as fast as possible with our hard hitters? Yes or nay? I'm open for anything, and will likely lead with Equinox (out of her Ball to fight like *shudders* a Trainer's 'Mon) and a colorful mixture of high-damage Evocation-spells. No setting up Hail right away, but saved for later. Preferably no triggering of Drought (yet) to not hinder Citrine's water-based spells?

I'm open to the idea.  Assassinating the leaders of the groups is a viable tactic, if dangerous should we fail to do so quickly.  We'll want a backup plan for dealing with the Palossand, least we get overwhelmed.

Question Windos: Since I fused with Hecate, and there moves I cant use, I imagined Bethy can't copy a move from Hecate and make me able to use. Since those moves is lock and I Bethy can't get from and Hecate.

Yes. Not great, but you have other powerful options to choose from, like some of Seddi's Mons Moves, Draco Meteor from Akamu, Terrain/Weather Moves, Heal Pulse , etc.. Just ask around for the most powerful or useful Moves everyone has, if they haven't posted them already!

@Redstone , @Dragonstrike , @PhantomUnderYourDesk

Anyway, once you guys have come to a consensus about which groups you want to tackle and HOW, post in the Game Thread! Or heck just pick a group and hope other join you or not on YOUR Plan, if you want to be quick or just rely on NPC Support. There are 4 Groups of the Legion, after all, and dividing up to clear most or all of them at once is good from a 'Not giving them a chance to react' sort of way. Oh, and be sure to mention how many of the Depot Supplies you took in those posts as well just for In-Game Record Keeping!

If you want to Stealth/Ambush the leaders, it's best you go into a Encounter via Stealth or some other method where the Mob can't easily see you, try to Scout/Access things, THEN decide if a decapitation strike is viable or not. I mean, you CAN bold as brass confront them and then just gun straight for the Leader's throat, but unless you're supremely confidant you can take them out wiithin a Round or 2....

No problem mate. I already suspect that and just needed confirmation. I was actually having a conversation with Dragonstrike and we found some moves who could interesting to Bethy to copy:

Rain Dance (Seddi Goodra have access)
Wide Guard (One of Akumo Pokemon have that move)
Psychic (Good STAB and Iron Leafs have access to that move)
Soak (New suggestion of Dragon, since it can be used to change enemy type to Water, making loose the ghost type, heck maybe could be use on Oz or someone else to change the type)
Swagger (Could use to copy Brozong Swagger move and leave it open)

And those are the ideas we discuss. Unless everyone have other suggestions of moves to be copy.

And Just in case anyone is wondering about Copycat+ Full move effect:

"Copycat is Improved - you can have them Copy 1 Move of a Pokemon it knows and with their permission, and it knows said Move for the Entire Day. Copycat then can be used against anyone to immediately 'steal' one Move they just used during the Round (or one at Random from its list) and use it on the spot - for example it could steal Quiver Dance and use it right then to Boost! This stolen Move goes away at the end of the Round, or if Switched out"

So yeah, give me suggestions people!

For the case we get overwhelmed by the Palossand, I've got these covered with my spread-moves and several moves that cause SE-damage.

I definitely wish to try ambush them, even if Bern only/'only' has 2 points in Stealth. Rather try and fail than not try at all.

Sounds like a plan indeed? Or would you prefer to go for one of the leaders while I deal out spread damage on everything?

(...)So yeah, give me suggestions people!

Plenty of suggestions and options of mine if you wish:
- Agility or Swords Dance orHealing Wish or Heal Pulse or Zephy's mighty Blizzard or lethal Mega Horn from Nirix
- Nasty Plot or Feint Attack or Flamethrower from Myra
- Moon Blast or Helping Hand or maaaybe Spellbind from Spritzee
- I doubt you can copycat Cyan Surge
- Seismic Toss or Snatch from Mawile
- Icy Wind or (if soaking) Thunderbolt from Zephy
