Well darn, there you go making me eat my own words...

That's a pretty reasonable explaination as to why low brow humor/needling/and good old teasing isn't well received by Nathan. If he's been mocked all his life for his unique interests and being an outsider, that type of humor would be totally lost on the boy. Probably should be for Ven as well, but he deals with his painful past by either the Gritted Teeth methods, or outright ignoring/keeping quiet on the details that he's not to pleased with.

Though, if Nathan starts getting onto him about his fears and phobias, Ven is probably going to get onto him about his remarkably low ability to tolerate stressful situations, or how obsitinate/bull headed they can be at times. Ven might go psychotic in the worst of situations, but at least he can still function, cope , and rationalize the whole way. He's also a whole lot more willing to compromise on his own stance and views if it mean he can make his friends are happier/safer , or just get along and cooperate. Nathan...not so much. Boy sticks to his guns even when its not exactly a grand idea, and is more than willing to engage in fights rather than rationally talk things out.

We going to apply a similar ruling as what we just did for Counter and Mirror Coat to Light Screen and Reflect as well? -1 Damage against everything using only a single move is rather strong...and should probably be limited to just Aurora Veil with its condition of needing Hail active to be used in the first place...

Nah those aren't a big deal. Barrier, Iron Defense, Charm also reduce all damage by 1 damage on average. Mirror Coat could make you essentially unkillable.

I am too, since I am eager to get to know Wobbuffet and try employing a strategy that will be....interesting, to say the least. And no, it won't be Encore + Yawn + Evasion tactics....at least not initially.

The reason the encounter has not started is that Nylon went offline relatively shortly after Iron brought out the latest batch of encounters, so we are waiting on him to choose one. Perhaps I should get a list of Pokémon/general actions from them when I am able, and forward that to you @Iron, so that the game doesn't get stall into the dirt in the future.

Then I'll just have Ventus give the boy plenty of space until we reach Winesberry, so that nothing bad can possibly happen until then! Afterwards, though...well, that depends on how things unfold. Hopefully beautifully, like an origami lotus, but it could always be a trainwreck!

Ohhh, this would give us two space to hold that desired and uninterrupted talk about Psychic Types, how to raise thrm properly acording to Ven, have Shiva ask how his deceased brother handled his Abra and how he made it such a faithful Alakazam and teach Helios, Braixen, Kyuu + Master some mild meditation mechanics or (prefered) autogenetic training. Would be benefitial for all of them, and hopefully help on that awareness of the alpha waves in brain on the Abra's side. This will take an Encounter Slot of mine (but not necessarily one for Windos?), which I'm very down with. Kyuu could also learn Confusion during it, he has just enough XP. Level-up on Psychic powers within Shiva's rows.

If Ven catches the Wobbufet, there is even a reason why this all comes back to Shiva's mind, so she isn't asking out of the blue. Nice~

It won't stall long. If someone doesn't pick an encounter in a day I just move on without them.

However we could ask @Nylon if, as a character, he has a rule to never try to take an encounter someone else calls dibs on. If that were the case he could just pick from the leftovers after being AFK for a while.

Hmmmm...interesting...Safeguard prevents the usage of Yawn, but doesn't prevent the pokemon from falling asleep the next turn if they've already been hit by the move according to Bulbapedia...that's an interesting quirk for Yawn to have.

-1 Will due to sleep when trying to catch, nice. I don't have my Electric rodents on hand, so sadly no suprise Paralysis when Safeguard is not in action within the Round Thunder Wave's used.
