Heart also try his best to stay in place. He should have train a bit his atletics skills. "Alphonse! We must make that Ambipom stop of his moves or else he gonna swing from a branch to other! Put him to sleep! Use Nastly Plot! Then go ahead and use Synchronoise 3x! Show your strengh!"
Nastly Plot Accuracy: Insight (3) + Survival (3) + Alert (3) - Actions (4) = 5d6
Effect: Increase user STR.
Synchronoise Accuracy: Dex (4) + Fight (4) + Canalize (3) - Actions (5/6/7) = 6d6/5d6/4d6
Damage: Power (5) + STR (3) + STAB (1) = 9d6
Effect: Area effect and Sounds based. I choose a type (In this case Normal) and this move only affect this type of pokemon. But I want to hold the power of the last Synchronoise. I dont want to faint Ambipom and want to try to capture him with a Steel Ball when he was nearly 1 HP.
Ambipom Round 1
Loyalty: (6) vs (6)(1)
Nasty Plot 1
(6)(5)(4)(4)(6)(6)
+2 Str for Hypno
Nasty Plot 1
(5)(2)(1)(4)(3)(1)
+2 Str for Ambipom!
The two Pokemon stare each other down.
Synchronoise 2
(6)(1)(3)(4)(5)(5)
(3)(5)(1)(4)(6) Ambipom takes 3 dmg 5/8hp -1 pain
Ambipom eats a Sitrus Berrry. 8/8hp
Double Hit 2 & 3
(5)(4)(4)(4)
(1)(1)(1)(5) Hit one time.
6* Str + 2 power +1 stab -4 vit = 5d6
(6)(1)(3)(6)(5) Hypno takes 3 dmg 6/9hp -1 pain
Synchronoise 3
(4)(1)(1)(4)
(3)(1)(6)(4)(6) Ambipom takes 3 dmg 5/8hp -1 pain
Synchronoise 4 No reason to hold back thanks to the Sitrus berry
(6)(3)(2)
(3)(5)(5)(2)(5) Ambipom takes 3 dmg 2/8hp -2 pain.
Heart uses the Steel Ball.
Seals: (6)(1)
Will: 7 will -2 pain = 5d6 = (5)(2)(4)(2)(3)
Ambipom escapes. Being a steel ball, it doesn't break.
Dex + Athletics -2 for Heart and for Hypno: (2)(1), (5)(4)
Heart falls out of the tree and takes two dice of damage! (1)(2) Luckily, he lands on some of the trees leaves and in a bit of mud. So he takes no damage but now he's muddy.
It's hard to make out exactly what's happening in the battle above.
Hypno is still up there, but he'll make a Loyalty check (5) vs (4)(1). Ok, Hypno will continue to fight even though he's out of Recall distance.

Heart thanks Arceus was gadly for not broke a bone or something. But even so he will need to find some way to get there. "I wish I have brough Rose with me. Her monkey acrobatics would be useful to get there." Heart thinks for a second about what to do. Then he takes two pokeballs and summon Typhon and Natu. Heart then yell to Hypno. "Alphonse! Use your Hypnosis to make Ambipom fall sleep! We must make him stop moving!"
Then Heart look to his two pokemon. "Typhon and Natu. In case Ambipom, Alphonse or both of them fall from the branch of the tree I count with you flying and Levitate abilities to catch them. We must avoid any sort of damage happen to them. Then I going to recall Hypno and capture Ambipom."
Hypnosis! Accuracy: Dex (4) + Fight (4) + Allure (0) = 8d6
Effect: Make the target sleep.
Since those Pokemon aren't doing anything too complicated, we'll just use an Insight check with no penalties.
(4)(6)(6)
(3)(6)(3)
They can handle that.
Ambipom Round 2
Hypnosis
(6)(1)(2)(3)
Ambipom fell asleep!
Steel Ball: (4)(5)
Will: (5)(1)(6)(1)
Ambipom was caught!
Happiness: 1, Loyalty: 1, Disobedience: 1
Ability: Pickup (Cost to change to Technician: 20XP)
Baton Pass, Tickle, Fury Swipes, Swift, Double Hit, Nasty Plot, Last Resort
Note on Last Resort: Activates after using three other moves, and locks you into just those three moves + Last Resort for the remainder of the scene.
With the monkey pokemon capture, Heart then could focus in the situation about Hypno. He was still in the top of that tree. Heart then talk with Typhon and Natu. "Could you two please can take out Alphonse from that tree? Since you can fly Natu and you can Levitate Typhon I believe you two can take out Alphonse from that tree."
Mechanic: Take Alphonse out of the top of the tree.
Yep, they quite easily get Hypno down safely. He looks at Heart.

Gym Leader Tanuki vs Shiva Round 2
Raphael, having taken a direct leap into the air in direction opponent's bird Pokemon, eases his focus for a small moment to grant Tanuki a thankful and joyful chirp alongside a ^o^ -face to her. Such a nice woman new Master has chosen as a foe, he generously blesses her by letting a sensible wave of joy rain on her as he flew over her head.
Shiva herself couldn't help but to smile in thanks, slightly only though as she chooses to remain concentrated on the two flying Pokemon. Despite Raphael's eager Pidgeot is a tad bit more used to race across the open sky, giving her a feeling that if she want to even the match again she has to take out Pidgeot FAST and PRECISELY. The determination from the Togekiss was very real and tangible for her though, it seemed to her that after having succeeded in the Gym Battle yesterday Raphael has either accepted her as a (temporar) Master and gotten over his father leaving him with her or he's directly responding to the silent encouragement Shiva has given him while still within his Ball... That Expert Belt full of experience and strength he wears as a headband may play a role as well.
There was only one way to find out, so she called out to the archangel with a firm voice. "Raphael? Yes, I know. I can feel your confidence. Ven has trained you well, are you feeling a little underpowered under my care? Whatever it is... You're having FULL permission to channel all you that you've got. Concentrate your energy and spirit, see your foe going down before your very eye before you STRIKE." (35xp are spent on Raphael, he got just enough from participating against Chuckles)
"Oh, and, eh.... Thanks for that compliment, Tanuki! He obviously wasn't allowed in Little Cup though." :C
---------------
Accuracy Roll Nasty Plot 1: 3 Dext + 3 Survival + 0 Alert because Shiva's always a bit spaced out - 4 Actions = 2d6, but with a spent Will Point this move will not fail.
Effect: Grants Raphael +2 Strength.
Secondary Effect: His feather coat floffs up a little. We're taking Tanuki's words of 'pushing one's Pokemon' right into action!
Accuracy Roll Air Slash 2: 3 Dext + 3*Fight (Suprise, suprise) + 4 Channel - 5 Actions = 5d6
Accuracy Roll Air Slash 3: 3 Dext + 3*Fight + 4 Channel - 6 Actions = 4d6
Accuracy Roll Air Slash 4: 3 Dext + 3*Fight + 4 Channel - 7 Actions = 3d6
Damage Roll: 5*Strength + 3 power of the move + 1 STAB = 9d6! Neutral damage.
Additional notes: Has 5*CD to flinch Pidgeot due to Serene Grace.

Gym Leader Tanuki vs Shiva Round 3
"This is a very worthy opponent, Pidgeot! Truly, give it your all!"
Pidgeot preens in the air and fluffs herself up as large as possible, competing with Raphael!
Brave Bird 1
(6)(5)(4)(6)(2)(3)(6) Critical hit!
3 Str +STAB + 5 power +2 crit + 1 Sharp Beak -4 vit = 8d6
(4)(6)(4)(6)(1)(1) (5)(3) Raphael takes 4 dmg 5/9hp -1 pain
(6)(5)(3)(5) Pidgeot takes 3 dmg
5/8hp -1 pain?
Nasty Plot 1

Brave Bird 2
(2)(6)(3)(4)(2)(5)
(3)(2)(4)(1)(2)(4) Raphael takes 2 dmg 3/9hp -2 pain
(5)(6) Pidgeot takes 2 dmg 3/8hp -2 pain??
Raphael makes Pidgeot really pay for such a bold attack. He rolls with her and slams her into walls or tubes, made a little meaner due to Nasty Plot and Shiva's will to win. Then he flows into an Air Slash, bringing Pidgeot within an inch of fainting and pinning her against a crevice so she can't attack.
Air Slash 2
(3)(1)(6)
(2)(2)(4)(2)(2)(5) Pidgeot takes 2 dmg 1/8hp
Flinch: (6)(1)(3)(1)(3)
Pidgeot flinches 3!
Air Slash 3
(6)(2)
(2)(5)(5)(3)(3)(1) Pidgeot faints.
"Ohhh, so beautifully triumphant!" Tanuki deploys a Flash Ball against the ground, capturing a 3D monument of the scene: Pidgeot spiraling to the ground and a shining Raphael sending blasts of air after her. The playplace in the background is a little incongruous, but Raphael's light makes it seem enigmatic instead of silly.
"I could tell right away your Togekiss has Serene Grace, and I really wanted Pidgeot to get in some work while she still could! Nasty Plot, though, really punished me so quickly for my aggressiveness! Well, we each have two and a half Pokemon left!"

What a comeback! Raphael has taken her encouragement very well, so well that Shiva can't help but to be very very carefully proud of herself that she allured such a will to defeat the foe in her Pokemon. In fact, she could really feel how the archangel gave his best, how he wanted to see Pidgeot down for himself and for Master, how he wanted to FIGHT AND BATTLE AND DEFEAT OPPONENTS! That was quite new to her, but she much enjoyed that quirk of Raphael as she gave him an earned 'Well done' glance, with a raised fist and everything. :>
"THAT's how a real Fairy fights, Raphael! You ready to continue?" He remained in the air, circled from one side of the battleground to the other, letting out high-pitched chirps and coos that could hardly mean anything but...."Yes? So, keep it up then! You're doing very well, please don't let your guard down now." He stays out.
Shiva also feels mildly praised over Tanuki taking a memento over the defeating of her beautiful Pidgeot. "She fought very well, yet so....reckless, whoahw. Is that within a Pidgeot's nature or did you train it to be like that? Oh, and from the looks of it.... Keen Eye Ability, correct~?" *telling smile*
(Is it actually possible to somehow get a copy of the picture a FlashBall takes just for enjoyment?)

Where in the Great Divide? I'm actually headed out that way, so we can meet up somewhere and not waste any more time than necessary.

"Keen Eye indeed! It's one of my favorite abilities, besides Pickup. She needed a lot of training to learn to actually use Brave Bird, though she was born with the move in her genes. I can make you a copy of what the Flash Ball picked up, but it will only be 2D."
