Heart use a revive and a potion to bring back Atlas back. "Not yet sir. We not done yet. The battle is far from over." Heart stand proud, ready to take out Golurk.

Golurk doesn't want to fight a freshly revived Pokemon while he's still wounded. It already feels it has won. You could try offering to heal Golurk somewhat, maybe.

Heart send Gustav. "Gustav can patch some of your wounds with a Heal Pulse. At least enough for you and Atlas be in equal terms of power. How that sounds?"

Touching the Shield to the trapdoor does nothing. Your intuition picks up that this could be a way into the palace proper, which even Lurantis did not know how to access.

This only makes her more interested, much more, and her desire of opening this trapdoor raises by 200%. But... She feels that the last Artifact, that helm, has priority over finding this Throne Room full of the most amazing things. If the group focuses on finding the helm now, can they still return here to work on opening this trapdoor together or is that not feasible? Shiva does not want to leave this trapdoor behind if it's a now-or-never thing as she cannot know whether there'll be more entrances along the way.

Lunapup is overjoyed to find gentle Ratsy to play with! This actually gets him to move from his doorway a bit as the two roll around together.

Awwwww!~♡ That's such an adorable view that can't help but to make Shiva smile, she's glad that she's able to let this Lunadoggo forget his loneliness for just a little. Hopefully he'll keep this as a pleasant memory that he likes to think off after she has left again!

Taking the opportunity, Shiva discreetly peeks into the interior of the 'doghouse', trying to get a look at further treasures that are stored there. She mindfully avoids gazing at the Eye painted there. Is there anything that sparks her interest, anything that'd she feels could be useful or just neat in her hands? The various Megastones she's not so interested in. However, there is ONE thing that she tries to spot among all the loot Lunapup has horded and is guarding and is related to those: A particular stone in roughly the same size, held in a vibrant palette and featuring a wavy symbol within.



If she does not spot it herself, she'll gently ask Lunapup whether he got such a colorful stone among his treasures.

You don't see such a colorful stone, just the more simple tricolor stones. Everything Lunapup has is either a held item or a historical artifact.

As you apply a Potion to Golett, taking him up to 4hp, Golurk decides it's had enough. He sets the handle of the lantern in Golett's exhausted hand before leaving for good this time. It shows no other sign of affection, being an inherently cold Pokemon, but somewhere in that big spirit it must have thought Golett's bravery was cute.

The flame inside the lantern, Heart notices with his Earthpower sense, always points a certain direction along the palace walls.

The encounter was worth 14XP, Heart gets 7.

Awww, damnit. But it was worth the question - this means Shiva's search for one of the Key Stones King Sarimanok got down here continues. Maybe they are buried down that Throne Room...?

Very well then, while Lunapup and Ratsy are enjoying one another's company, she rummages within her stuff searching for something in particuar. Once she has found it, she smiles in a pleased manner and gently gets the doggo's attention by whisling, reaching out to him, calling him, whatever works without startling him. "So, adorable dog of the moon...." She adresses him, "I said I'm interested in your treasures, but I DON't want to steal a single one. Instead, let's trade!~ I've got two things to offer you, look:"

• "First up it's this sand -" She lets is rill from one hand of hers to another "- It's not just any sand though. Do you see how rough it is, how the single grains are clearly visible? Every single one of them contains a tiny bit of a special power, and all together it powers up your moves using the energy of the earth itself. It should help you defeating your treasures from foes a little more!~" She lets Lunapup sniff on the sand if he likes, and sprinkles a bit over him. (It's the second of three Soft Sand Giant Trapinch dropped.)
  

• "Furthermore, look, here's something I brought from uuuppp the surface! It's called a 'kong' and it's a widely-known dog toy. Chew on it how much you like, it just won't break, it helped my big black wolf evolve into his current form.~" (It's the kong Shiva bought for 600$ once, the Feraligatr-resistant granting +1 dice on Training Sessions)
  
  
• "Would you also like to have this fluffy mass of cotton, lil' one? Look how soft and cuddly it is, it's cotton my Cottonee shed!~" (Shiva still got some from before Cottonee evolved.)
  

Upon having offered all of that, Shiva displays a gentle smile, her body language all displays curiosity. "So, what would you let me have for these nice things, what treasures of yours are you fine to part with? None of these round stones please, keep them. ....What's with this dried mushroom there, that one in pleasant colors?" (She'd like to have at least that dried mushroom, anythingelse is completely left for Lunapup to decide.)

Lunapup brings you the mushroom, a Light Clay, and a chewed up figurine of Chimecho worth as much as a Nugget (5k).

You do recognize the mushroom. It's called a Balm Mushroom, and you have here three units of it. This is very rare and can only grow in the absence of light "where blood has been shed." So it has a witchy reputation, despite being entirely harmless. Really, it can grow anywhere wholly dark and with high iron content and nutrient-rich soil. It was a prized edible back when it was more widely known, because it will make all dice in your Cooking roll come up (6). No one alive today knows what it tastes like anymore.

Whaaaa, so many neat things!~ Shiva happily accepts them and begins to investigate them throughoutly and with lots of interest. As she does, so, sparkles light up in her eyes behind the glasses like they always do when she has found something she really really enjoys. She'd pet and cuddle Lunapup all affectionately if she wouldn't know already that he's afraid of humans!~ So instead, she just gives him a smile brimming with delight. "Thank you, lovely moondoggo, THANK YOU! I appreciate these Items, I really do, I'll make sure to put them into good use! <3 I....I hope you will do too with the treasures you got from me, awwww!~~~" Shiva has never seen a Balm/Solace Mushroom before, only thanks to her interest for witchy stuff she recognized it in the first place.

She packs the things away, but doesn't leave yet - by far not yet! She'd like to let Ratsy and Lunapup play with one another as long as possible, as best until the moment she has to return to the others again before they worry. SHE is actually enjoying this special moondog's presence. "Hey, Lunapup...." She adresses him after a while, "....What's actually up with that fur of yours? It's so pretty, it's shining like the moon itself!!~ Was it like that always or, I don't know....did it became like this from living down here? But moonlight doesn't reach this deep...?"

With a sigh and a kind smile, Shiva also drops some more fateful words. "...I doubt you like to come with me, do you? Nono, I'm just asking for your opinion, dear one, not for you to come with me. Sure, you could all day with Ratsy and further small Pokemon of mine, but... There are lots of humans up there as well as big Pokemon. Not all of 'em propose a threat - BUT, if you're clearly afraid of them, I rather not force them upon you. ...Do you understand that?" She's pretty curious how Lunapup reacts to this - it's not per se meant to trigger an Acquirering Roll, but if you feel like rolling one, do!~

I was about to ask whether Shiva could see those Megastones, before I remembered that she got a look at them already as Lunapup granted her a gaze into his doghouse. The only stone she'd look out for would be one featuring a swirl in the same dark-green and brown color of a certain psychic fighter. That, and Nathan's thing to track Megastones would have blinked I guess?

Yeah, if Nathan wanders close enough during this Encounter, his thing would blink mostly in purple.

You do see one stone that matches the color of a Gallade, one that is white and black and purple, and one that is purple, black, and red.


Lunapup claims its fur has always been this way, but it has no intention of ever accompanying a human to the surface where humans rule.
