[Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows
Dun dun dun.  The Vilucard doesn't have the noblest of intentions and no honor.  Who could have thought?

It was possible to talk your way past, just rather difficult.  There were certain types of phrases and trigger words I was looking for that would trigger the ambush and subsequent fight.  The big thing that set it off was Kogeki talking about fighting the darkness and despair.

Plus, I think you'd much rather take a hit from Nohface than the super powerful vampire Vilucard.

Oh, and the native image insertion seems to be working again!  Yay!

Ah no problem. At least it worth a try anyway instead of the usual fight and whatever.

So I down to 2 HP. Any chance anyone could spare a healing before the no face KO me?

Also that thing about be familiar...Need to check that myself.

Oh yes, and one more thing.  I need to make sure I make a note of this: Nohface is one of Smogon's CAP creations, and the credit for creating this wonderful pokemon goes to their CAP community.  You can find this pokemon and many more over on their forums, which can be found at this link! (They have an actual website for CAP projects, but it needs some serious updating, so I figured I'd just direct link to the forums instead)

Ohhh, Nohface is an interesting 'Mon! And quite an eerie and cute one for my taste. After a good amount of searching for more info about it I finally found the threads with its Type, moves etc. to plan my actions in the battle against it, sharing them them here behind a spoiler tag in case any of us wants to battle blindly.

The CAP project has made a lot of creative pokemon, and I'm definitely excited to show some of them off in a different medium than competitive pokemon.

Also note that neither of those threads actually lists a finalized movepool for Nohface at the time of writing.  The finalized movepool listed there is that of Nohface's evolution, and there's some significant differences between the two pokemon.

I couldn't find a fully finalized movepool for Nohface, so there may be some creative liberties taken within the boundaries of what is present currently.

A pretty cool and interesting concept indeed of Pokemon! Lick might be a problem since I down to 2 HP. Either Hoopa or Kee could spare a healing item since they are ahead of everyone else unless NohFace use Bullet Punch to finish off Kogeki.

Based in the damage dealt, and my defense who is 1, NohFace probably have 3 in strength. So yeah, if use and get 2 or higher in dice damage, he will obliterate me. Unless a Revive Seed be used, so that's something we can do.

And he appear to be Ghost type like Kogeki, so my Ghost and Dark moves might be useful.

Huh, indeed it's the movepool of the evolution and not Nohface itself. Didn't realize that the first time, so thanks for pointing it out! I couldn't find a finalized movepool either, so creative liberties are totally fine. Makes me wonder whether Nohface does or doesn't have those few Steel Type'd moves.

Preferably not me who'll provide the healing to Kogeki unless there's really no other option, given how I'd rather attack with an SE-attack from Ziggy Kee now that he's gotten the chance to act before Nohface. Do you possibly have an Oran Berry or similar at hand to heal yourself? That, or Karen could take the task of healing you with Life Dew, but 1. it doesn't provide instant healing and 2. Karen's not in our control so we cannot tell her what to do or not do.

I'll need to review over my supplies again to see what Pyra has/doesn't have (The pacing of the campaign has made me forgottful about keeping track of this stuff, ehehehe....), but if nothing else Kogeki can use Quick Attack to disengage from the Fight and let Pyra and Co handle it for him. I imagine Pyra would be quite willing to come to his defense most vigorously in that case, and wouldn't that make for a scene!

I'll be making a proper post later tonight about her overall reactions to Count Sinister and Fox Gank (Got dinner plans with my class mates, and bunches of work to do), so assume my orders to be this Dragonstrike if you're going to be rolling them out soonish: 2 Actions - Bulk Up (2 + 2 + 1 - 2 = 3D6 Dice ) OR Providing Cover for Kogeki (If he get's aggroed again, unless Kee or someone else covers for him), and then Bite (2+3+1-4= 2D6 Base Dice, 5 or *6D6 + 1 Base Damage). Unless anyone has plans that require Pyra do something?

Also, don't forget Intimidate!

I'll give this one to you guys for free since I've been researching it for obvious reasons, and it's easy enough to determine with the linked resources.

As far as Steel type moves go, the general consensus between all the possible movepools seems to be that the only Steel type moves Nohface might have access to are its evolution's previously established Egg moves and Iron Tail.

@PhantomUnderYourDesk I do have one Oran Berry, but I kinda scared because NohFace will attack first, so he could choose go after me first since I the easiest target. We already know NohFace have Lick so it will always be guaranteed to cause 1 damage. And he probably have 3 of strength. So next attack he will K.O. me.

You by chance have any Revive Seed left or anyone in the group have such thing? I prefer to avoid get levels of Primal.

Also Dragonstrike, it is possible for Kogeki run away from the battle for now?
