Sorry for the delay in replying, been preoccupied with university stuff and I didn't have internet at home the whole of yesterday because of some damage to the fibre infrastructure near our place. Could have posted from my phone but I hate doing that because the formatting always ends up getting screwed. Before I post, I would like to just discuss something with you guys. I've already spoken to dragon about it, and he seems to be fine with it, so I'll likely go ahead with it, but I don't want to just drop it on you guys like an a-bomb. I was thinking that I'm gonna have Daxter leave the team. Seems like it's the most natural thing for him to do. He'd likely go and form his own team because he's kinda sick of continuously arguing with both Pyra and Kogeki, and Dragon said that Karen would likely follow him so that he can fill up his quota of three Pokemon to start a team. The third mon would be the Litwick, Klink or Rolycoly (we can discuss that, I kinda want the rolycoly seeing as Daxter went out of his way to get it into the team). Would any of you be vehemently opposed to that? Just feels like it'd make sense rp-wise and I wanted to bring it up here before posting in the main thread because it'd be a good time to ask the Machamp if Daxter could get a different property to the rest of the team.

Unsure what to think of Daxter's plans of leaving, very unsure. Am having very mixed feelings, as well as mild flashbacks of characters leaving and being out of a group that I'm actually quite fond of.

Uh... Basically, outta-chara I'd just want and wish for the group to stay together how they now are and work on getting along with each other, aka neither you nor Pyra leaves. BUT, given how much issues have been there so far between us in-chara, I can somewhat understand Dax's train of thought - if he desires to leave, then that's fine. Kee himself just wishes to be a famous and successful adventurer of Delphox's Guild, with the others or by himself, so the aquatic salamander leaving possibly alongside Karen won't have that much of effect in the long-term on him. What I DON'T enjoy is if Daxter's department has a major impact on us as the group itself, see Pyra, aka I'd rather having Daxter stay if his departure would cause too much issues/has a strong negative effect on any other character that is likely to hinder them in the long-term.

On the topic of running multiple dungeons at once, I was planning to do that eventually, I just hadn't quite built up to it enough for it to be a focus in Chapter 1.  I've got a few things in the works in the background, and if we're going to see it all, it's likely there will have to be some simultaneous dungeon delving at some point.  Plus, I was thinking the game might be more engaging if more players have a say in the actual adventure part of adventuring.

No major updates from me today since I'm busy setting up a new Switch and preparing for Halloween, but I'm thinking I'll be looking at responding to the currently posted questions and actions tomorrow to get things moving again.

Essentially, yes, though I wanted a bit of a slow build up to being able to do that since an Adventuring team capable of doing so with every core member would need a very large number of recruits.  Once you guys have at least 8 recruits (2 for each non-gm player character), you'd be able to split up into a squad each and tackle different dungeons simultaneously.  You have 4 already if we count Karen.  If you want to split into parties of more than three pokemon, you'd need to wait until you have more recruits to split the players up or have multiple PCs in the same squad.  Chapter 3 is when I'm roughly planning for larger divisions with every PC getting to lead their own squad being fairly easy to do.  I'm planning for a bit of guided splitting up in Chapter 2 to ease everybody (including myself) into it.

And yes, the difficulty of the dungeons will go up as the game progresses.  Chapter 1 wasn't supposed to be particularly hard, lol.

Hmm that way we can kill two rabbits with one strike: Daxter and Karen could still be in Team Omega Seekers, but each group could do separate missions on Dungeons without the danger of, you know, have conflicts of fights and arguments. And Pyra would have no problem in stay in the group without joining Team Artificer.

Huh, I like that plan. We just need to find more Pokemon to be willing to join us.

Also happy halloween everyone! Unfortanely here in Brazil we do not have Halloween. We know what is, but the maximum of Halloween thing we have is a few spooky movies here and there based in the "theme".

You're introducing split groups gameplay into your groups? I'm worried that it still will be a massive timesink to burden, but if you're confidant you can handle it all I'm okay with the idea. Hopefully in practice it'll hold up, though!

One good thing I can say about multiple groups is like Spirit said, it lessens the likelihood of party members butting heads with each other. We just have to shuffle them to different squads and avoid talking about sensitive topics, and we're all good! I am still planning on 'toning down' Pyra after this MD, but this just makes things better for the group in the long run if they can get some time away from her WITHOUT splintering off.

Not initially.  But it came to mind eventually, so I decided to run with the idea.

This....isn't a great thing, mate. At all. For three principle reasons:

1. You're character is 'infected' with Shadow Energy. Chances are it'll start to slowly corrupt them over time unless you are ever vigilant against it, and more so if you frequently try to use it.
2. Having Shadow Energy marks you as a target for Pyra's aggressions against The Darkness, which will be a rather horrible affair for both you AND her if she can't just KO you to get rid of the taint or find other 'nice' means of removing it.
3. You have a Primal Score of 1 now, which may or may not have dumped your Logic State by a point. If not, then the next time you go Primal you'll lose 1 Logic, likely with further consequences concerning your Shadow Taint. You will have also effectively lost 50 XP from that point of Logic going *Poof!*, which is frustrating and demoralizing to deal with, and the reduction only gets worse the more you go Primal, up until they go completely Feral and Shadow from the State.

Really wish I was paying more attention to what you were doing, as I'd have Pyra smack Kogeki silly for THINKING it was a good idea trying to Aura Suck a recently 'Cleansed' Shadow Pokemon/Minion of The Darkness in retrospect (if I could). Oh well, it is what it is, and we all have to live with it now.
