Of course life decides to say 'here, have a cold' right when I finally get around to trying to get back to updating everything on my to-do list.  Sorry guys, updates might still be a bit slow due to a lack of cohesive thinking. :/

Huh....I'm rather surprised that the Meif went after Platina with the Fake Out, considering that Keldeo and Emolga were greater threats to everyone and that Flinching her would've been worth bumbkiss if it and Cubchoo got KOed before they could do anything. I suppose they might've prioritized her due to being the one to make orders + being really notable with her Shininess? Well, no matter, my plan worked out for the better for all of us, beyond Keldeo having to deal with a persistent Debuff for the rest of the Floor. Better than anyone getting Poisoned at least! The fact we got 10 XP for it was pretty sweet too - and we haven't even tried looting the mobs for any goodies yet!

Concerning the Acid Spray 'burns' , could a Medicine Roll be used to try to at least allieviate the pain a bit, especially with the help of a possible analgesic like an Oran? Would Metal Sound also work as a mechanical replacement, as while it can't negate the chemical burn it can at least replace it with a distracting sound?

Also, FYI @Spiritmon : Might want to avoid soul sucking mobs while with Keldeo and Emolga, just to not freak them out and give them a bad idea of everyone. Platina also would be rather disturbed by it without being given warning and explanation first.

Oh frick, that is just awful. Hopefully it's nothing too vile and you can power through it just fine! If you need any help just let us know, alright? Can't do much, but I do know a bit about antibiotics and antivirals that could be relevant, depending on what you caught.

Explanation: uncoordinated groups of wild pokemon select random targets.  I don't want to (intentionally) make the earlier content too hard on you guys if it isn't a major fight.  That, and it saves me a lot of thinking time.

As for the exp, that Chandelure was tough!  They clock in at level 40 in an area with mostly level 20 pokemon!  Gates and Super can be brutal.

You're welcome to attempt a Medicine check if you have an idea for treating physical acid burns.  It might not be as effective as a Wonder Tile or stat buff due to being improvised though.  Metal Sound wouldn't help with the stat debuffs since it's also a debuffing move and isn't addressing the source of the debuff itself (the physically painful and persistent acid burns).

To be clear, I'm flavoring Acid Spray as a very potent substance that erodes at both the target's physical and mental defenses.  A Wonder Tile, positive Sp Def increase, or other methods of guaranteed stat debuff prevention/reversal will 'magically' counteract it, but I'll allow medicinal methods if they can treat the physical burns (which are painful to a mentally distracting degree).

Hmm... 'A positive Sp.Def increase'... How about a positive Attack increase via Swagger at the cost of confusion for Keldeo, would that potentially aid Keldeo pushing through better until we reach the next floor or a Wonder Tile? I'd guess it could to a degree, but unsure whether I'm willing to give it a try due to the, well, inavoidable confusion. Unless any of us has ways to prevent a Status Ailment?

Sure. No problem. I was thinking in grab some soul sucking, but you do have a point. No time for such thing. But I do have 2 requests my friend, since you are the Leader for today expedition:

1 - Can we check the fainted Pokemon and see if they carry some useful items? I will not drain their Auras, you have my word on that, and this could be a good chance to find some useful items.

2 - And for last, can I try to convince Mienfoo to join us? Flinch Moves is a good opportunity, and for now, we do not have a ally with the Fighting-type Pokemon in our side, and Fake Out is a nice Move to use against certain enemies. Not to mentioned he problably have some Figghting-type moves (or at least one). Besides, Fighting would be cool to have to counter Kogeki weakness to Dark-types. Kogeki also in character was surprised about Mienfoo speed, so he want to have such Pokemon as our ally.

Having said that, do you guys mind if I try to persuade Mienfoo to join our side? @Dragonstrike, @PhantomUnderYourDesk and Windos?

1. Certainly. Platina isn't interested much in doing it herself, seeing as she just wants to get the mission done fast, but the rest are free to loot if they can do it quickly enough not to annoy her (FYI: She won't get annoyed)

2. Mienfoo is Fainted, ergo you can't really convince them to do much of anything unless you want to spend one of our Revivers on them. Frankly, I think that's a waste of resources right now to do so when we're on a time crunch and rather underhandily blitzed them from an Ambush (such things do not lend well to gaining the  trust of others). Platina would disagree with that plan online for the reasons I outlined, but if you convinced everyone else she'd begrudginly allow the chance - she wouldn't help out, though, preferring to keep watch just in case any wild mons migrate towards the room.

To be clear, though, I don't have a problem with Mienfoo's recruitment in theory, but in practice.....well, I just believe it wouldn't pan out well. Best case scenario I can think of is that we end up press ganging the fighter into Team OS and/or scare it into submission, and at that point we're probably starting down a path that'll lead everyone to being more like Team Artificer than good ol' Marcus. I could be wrong, however, and it is a known thing that High Instinct/Powerful Pokemon attract respect and admiration from others, so it's not out of the questions. Platina actually has the best chance on that front on convincing Pokemon through sheer Instinctive Charisma , but given that Meinfoo actually focused on her over more dangerous threats they probably don't like her too much.
