Hmm...'A positive Sp.Def increase'... How about a positive Attack increase via Swagger at the cost of confusion for Keldeo, would that potentially aid Keldeo pushing through better until we reach the next floor or a Wonder Tile? I'd guess it could to a degree, but unsure whether I'm willing to give it a try due to the, well, inavoidable confusion. Unless any of us has ways to prevent a Status Ailment?

Not entirely.  As the move affects Attack, it won't have a straightforward effect on a Sp Def debuff.  There's potentially an argument here that the social and mental aspects of Swagger might help take his mind off the acid burns, but it's going to be a hard roll to pass since you'd be attempting to use Swagger in an unorthodox way.  And pass or fail, Keldeo would be under all the normal effects of Swagger, so keep that in mind too.

To show a bit of my thought process on this kind of stuff:

Generally, using a move or a typical PMD item is a more 'pokemon-like' solution to a problem, and they generally do exactly what's stated on the tin.

Finding creative ways to use things in unintended manners or improvise solutions is more 'human-like'.  It may be more or less effective than the more straightforward 'pokemon-like' methods depending on various conditions.

You're free to attempt to speak to them if you wish, though as Windos mentioned, they are rather unconscious at the moment.

Wel...You two have good points. And we really save our resources for save to the future. And its not worth use a revive item just with the possibility of recruitment end up in failure about Mienfoo refuse to join.

I just going to search the fainted Pokemon and follow the path forward.

Hmm, makes sense that Swagger would not help Keldeo, and I rather not risk a confused water horse if the roll fails. I'll keep the thought process of what's more Pokemon-like and what's more human-like in mind, as well as a note of stocking up on more remedies (Berries etc.)for situations like these.

I do have sort of an idea for a Medicine check that I'd like Kee to attempt though, for the sole reason that it's very in-chara for him to try helping Keldeo feel better - but beforehand a question, what Stats does the Medicine Roll use again, and would it get any Bonus or similar if it involves a move Kee knows?

A Medicine roll is gonna be Smart+Knowledge+Medicine(+Logic)

If you can justify a move's effects as helping with a physical acid burn, that can be used as the basis for the check.  For a Medicine check, the basis is very important since that determines if the check is possible at all.

You don't necessarily have to use a move though.  If there's an item or something in your surroundings that you think could reasonably help, then you are welcome to pitch the idea (I can think of one thing in your surroundings that may help a little, as well as an item that might if used in an unorthodox manner), and it may make the check easier.

If you don't have any ideas that might work, I could also do a flat roll to see if your character can think of something on their own (it is a knowledge based roll, after all), but that will have no adjustments to its difficulty.
