New poll up in the game thread. It'd be cool if the party could present a unified front on this and start evolving into a party of friends who have each other's backs, but of course I'm aware that will not happen overnight. Great chance for character growth, whichever you decide! Or don't be afraid to think out of the box.

I'm fundamentally lazy since my RPG focus is primarily theater of the mind so I generally use my Heroforge account to do up the basic 3D character design and then tweak further refinements from there.

Route One's been tense, and there's plenty of rivalries forming/formed as it stands, but nothing that should impede professional cooperation - at least from Vincent's perspective.

Nathan might not want to talk with Ventus much right now, but he's at least not completely cold. He's pretty sure everyone is tired of walking and route 01 by now and just want to get to Ginger Town. Plus, he needs to find a good opportunity for his horse to have some fun, as promised. There wasn't a whole lot going on that Swiftfire might have enjoyed back there since Ventus took out the Carnivine rather...ruthlessly.

Oh my. Will that actually work? That would be an interesting interpretation of 'Horse Power'.
Ventus is a sweet, kind, and caring guy...except when he's not. When something triggers his carefully conceled bottoms, or if his in a battle situation, Ventus is definitely the most pragmatic and ruthless guy you'll find besides Vincent. Considering he's more than willing to use his Pokémon to attack people if they pose a sufficient threat to him, or are acting in a manner that poses a risk to themselves and others... well. 'Sometime, you have to be cruel in order to show kindness to other,' is a rarely stated, but ardently believed in, statement that Ventus stands by.

I believe with what happened because of some flowers, Ven might only talk with Shiva for a while... Might develop into friendship.
She also has a somehow bad feeling about accepting the ride. Not...bad actually, but she's actually not sure whether it's good idea. Not sure about splitting up either, since she (and me) actually thought that the party should stick together. Guess I'll wait how the others decide.

I'd like to point out that you poisoned that Carnivine. And it sunk into the mud while unconscious. Died within a few hours from either the poison or suffocation. I wouldn't call that 'being cruel to be kind.' That's just flat out cruel. What did that poor plant ever do to you?
