Well, do Shiva and Ventus want in on the conversation?  Ventus has already accepted his help, after all.  Nathan will gladly talk with him alone if the others would rather not be in such a tense situation.

Unlike Ventus, though, Nathan's not going to play any games.  He won't turn this mercenary's help away if it's being offerred, but he'll make it very clear he has 0 trust for him right now.

Oh, I don't doubt Nathan will be direct in his misgiving for the guy. As long as he can work with the guy and doesn't sabotage his business relation with Valder, Ventus can work with that. He's has been and continues to be subjected to that sort of mistrust, after all...

Oh, any conversation that Valder in, Ventus want to be in as well. He want to know all the details, at all times.

Good Idea, by the way @PhantomUnderYourDesk ! Oh, and sorry for not being clear, but I mean Ventus' money. He's not going to force other to pay for the upkeep of a mercenary!

@Dragonstrike As I said, I think I'd rather ask Nurse Joy where the Daycare in Ginger is, and visit it to get more information about the job offer. After that though, I'll return to the Center (or any other place you determine) to meet up again and see what you and Ventus found out about Valder. Deal?

Indeed! If he's paying the man and giving him supplies, he want to keep tabs on the guy at all times. Can't let an investment go to waste...

I don't mind if you go off and do that, Phantom. I've done that several times to do encounters by myself, so why not you? Shiva can be filled in later, if she wishes. He doesn't have to much advice on Breeding, though. He took classes on the matter, but he didn't get is degree in that field!

He has a half Steel Type, one that could be a threat to us, and if he will be traveling with us, she wishes to be up to date with information. Just give me a place to meet up again, and I'll be there to be filled with what you people found out!

Just did. After that private talk thing with Valder has been reviewed, I'll decide what to do with the rest of my day. Oh, and we're totally forgetting about Larry here, but I'm sure @Iron takes good care of him~
