You did it Nathan! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO! *Dance like there is no tomarrow!*

Now Ventus has a chance to fight against Zamboni! Though before I do that, I have a question to ask : Is it possible to borrow someone elses Pokémon for a battle? I'm not too sure that its a good Idea to use Shroomish here, but I want to have a full team of 3 anyway.

Also, how does multi-action work, exactly? I've been confused about them, but never thought to ask since I've been unable to do them...

It's really simple.  You just subtract dice from your accuracy pool based on how many actions you're taking.  -2 for the first one, -3 for the second, -4 for the third, and so on.

Actions still resolve in the same initiative order, though.  So you make a move, then the opponent, then you do your second, they do theirs...it's pretty key to getting off debuffs efficiently without giving up your damage output (Ventus actually gave Nathan this idea!  He hasn't said anything about it, but that's why he lead with Growl against Sealeo and Rotom.  Nathan and I might have forgotten to check Delibird's potential movepool beforehand, though...thus why I didn't try to dodge the fake out I knew was coming when I did check it)

Encore is kind of weird in this game - it has increased priority, so you basically have to wait a turn to use it. At least that's what I think they're getting at.

That would be game over if Ralts was locked into Growl.

If anything, Ventus is getting his money's worth out of you! Keep up the great work, mate!

Ew.  Yeah, that would have been bad.  Nathan would have probably done what any smart competitive player would have done and sent out a different pokemon immediately.  It wouldn't have been terrible since Encore makes you repeat the whole action sequence as opposed to just the last move you used, but that still wouldn't have been favorable.

And one more question while I'm updating my character sheet to match the other rulebook on the statuses: Are traded pokemon going to experience any bonuses to exp gained like in the games, at the cost of not obeying the trainer all the time if they don't think they're strong enough? (that'd probably be a loyalty check if the user didn't have enough gym badges or proven themselves to the pokemon in question). It's actually relevant right now, and not just because of Princess!

Loyalty is its own mechanic, so basically only a naturally disobedient Pokemon will disobey an order. Their Loyalty score is tied to the ones who invested those points in them, ie, their first owner. Gym badges do help, and it's possible for a Pokemon to have Loyalty it gives to different trainers.

Loyalty has a use outside of battle too, because a more loyal Pokemon will be more likely to risk its life for its trainer. So even a calm and obedient Poliwag, who likes to battle but doesn't have any Loyalty, probably won't stick around when real danger looms.

I don't see any realistic reason traded Pokemon would gain extra XP. I might be willing to entertain arguments on the subject.

Did that answer your questions, or was it just rambling?
