My guess is we either need Pokémon with the abilities Healer and Poison Touch (Healing Hands, Deadly Hands), or we need to get a good luck at the deer Pokémon and teach it 'Healing Hands, Deadly Hands', and bring it into the lower ruins.

There's not really alarge number of deerlike pokemon in the pokedex.  There's only two I an think of off the top of my head:

The Deerling line (obvious)

And Arceus.  Who's also said to have 1,000 arms in its pokedex entries.  This isn't going to be common factual knowledge, though, and just legends for the most part.  Nobody in living memory has actually met Arceus, after all.

Ventus might know about it, but even College education can only go so far. He's very well verse in the legendary Pokémon of his region, due to his classes in Pokémon Lore and Mythology, but I'm not too sure what he knows about Legends in other regions...

Nathan knows the legends since he's a self taught history buff.  Arceus would be his best guess for that text's reference, particularly since the king was known for the legendaries he's commanded.  Why Arceus might be referenced specifically, though, he'd be almost as clueless as everyone else.

Ah, right. Let's take care of the Ruins as soon as we are there actually, alright? Besides, the Forune Teller mentioned them as well. In no good tone...

I think we can jump on to the next in-game day then.

Agreed. And I'll start it off with that discussion of where the group's going next!

Ventus is ready to go, whenever the rest of the group is!

Ventus and I worked up a rule where the elemental damage increasing held items (hard stone, mystic water) add +1 to the training rolls that involve it for moves of their type. You have to think of some way to utilize it, but that's pretty easy to do.

And with all that settled, it seems the consensus is to head off down Route 02 and towards Corsage Port. Nathan and Larry both have reasons to travel there, and nobody else seems to have any particular preferences about where they go. (no preferences from Shiva and Ventus, and Valder's being paid to come along for the ride, and he probably doesn't have any particular preferences either. Unless Nylon wants to say something about it)

Awesome.  More dice never hurts, right?

I have a question about that, actually. Do we keep the XP we earn from these Specific Move Training Session (SMTS) as a part of our Pokémon's regular XP pool, or do we separate the XP into a different pool for the move we are specifically trainer (Like a XP Pool for Ancient Power, in my case.)

You're SUPPOSED to keep it separate (technically it lowers the move cost by 1) but that's honestly not worth keeping track of. Just put it as normal XP for the Pokemon.
