Oh! Does that count for me to? I thought it was only for those who had talked with the professor. Well. Valder still doesn't enjoy catching normal pokemon if he's just gonna give 'em away. thx though, I didn't realize that.

*Shrugs* Well, at least I helped you out in some manner. If you are looking for a specific water type in mind, you can just ask Iron and see if he can't magic one up for you later down the line. He did so with Larry and Shiva, so why not you?

@Dragonstrike, you might be interested to bring that sad Azurill to me if Ralts fails to cheer it up. After all, Shiva has proven herself to be a calm and sweet soul, maybe she can get through it, and she has a liking for Fairy Types anyway. Maybe Azurill might feel better to open up to her.

So, Larry hasn't shown up at all today. Guess that means he's autoing Butterfree?

I would assume so, mate. When that auto battle will happen, however, is anyone's guess. Maybe Iron's doing a game IRL?

I've been crunching some numbers in the meantime while we wait. Figuring out what moves I want to spend exp on, and when to evolve my stone evolutions. Staryu might see a quick evolution since it gets access to some nice moves for 0 exp as a Starmie, and learns passable ones quickly as a Staryu (and some ones with niche use later, but...TMs can help cover most of those, potentially), while Kirlia...is a bit of a conundrum, since Gallade has a VERY different movepool due to its typing. Swiftfire is pretty straightforward, Vespiqueen and Combee are as well...and Porygon is fairly straightforward too, particularly since the levels it learns moves doesn't really change when it evolves (though evolving it could be tricky...).

Valder can have money for catching a new species too, but the amount isn't even enough to cover the cost of a Pokeball. Just a bit of a bonus. Rarer Pokemon are occasionally worth more.

I have no plans yet for evolving Porygon. It could be complicated. Most of the big manufacturing is in Stair City though.

I'll catch up on the game thread now and move onward if necessary.

My own battle plans for my team are as follows:

Togepi: Teach it Ancient Power, Encore, and Wish while before Evolving into Togekiss, before snatching all its 0 XP. Air Slash and Sky Attack are particularly amazing, but Extreme Speed is always a boon! Honestly, my Togepi's learnset is good enough without TMs, but they would be nice to have as well!

Arbok: Get it Coil, Acid Spray, Mud Bomb, and call it a day. Gunk Shot does more damage, but Acid Spray debuffs, doesn't Poison (Which can be great in certain situations!), and can be spammed without too many accuracy dice being removed. Mud Bomb debuffs accuracy and combos well with Glare, is a Ground type move, and is pretty powerful on its own. Coil is just great in general, really, and it mitigates the bad accuracy of Arboks Fang moves and the aforementioned Mud Bomb.

Shroomish: Get Spore (eventually), then Evolve and pick up Mach Punch, Force Palm, and Leech Seed. After that, try to get a TM for Focus Punch, and he's golden! Main problem is getting the 50 XP I need to get the darn move, and having to work with only Absorb and basic attack commands for the time being. Difficult part is getting there, but once I do I shouldn't have too many problems from then on!

That's about it, though, and until I get more Pokémon, I can't really make any final plans for what I want with my main fighters...

Wait there, you plan to evolve the female Combee? You surely can, but it might lead to oroblens with Ventus (given how he reacted in the hive as you people encountered the Queen), as well as maybe with Shiva because she simply doesn't enjoy these species...
