To take Togepi you'd have to surrender a Pokemon to the PC, unless Ventus went with you. He's not so badly hurt that he can't travel, it just hurts him to do so.

Oh, right... Now that I checked once agaon, I saw that I accidently forgot to reduce the proper number from dice from Strike... My bad. Won't happen again. Sorry for that! Multiple stuff don't seem to suit my Chara.

Ah, then we will not take Togepi with us. Sorry for that, Ven! Shiva doesn't want to put the black-spotted egg onto the PC, even if it's just for one night. She just...refuses to do so.
Coming with me is no option either, because as said, she doesn't want to leave poor Nathan sleep in the tent alone while she and Ven enjoy luxury.

He has no problems with that, since he would not know about where you are going in the first place! Raphael is just going to be stuck in its Pokémon for the time being, until Ventus fully recovers and can hide the worst of the damage from his angel's eyes. He has to be a strong father figure to the chick, so appearing badly hurt and weakened is rather counter productive to that goal.
