When Ventus told his story, Valder... didn't quite follow. Valder's good at hearing, but not as great at listening. What Valder caught up from the story was that 1) Ventus was/is a researcher. 2) He got to acquaint himself with somethingSect. 3) he got fired and is trying to find the mythical pokemon that he met.

 "Right. Cool" Valder said trying to hide his lack of attention.

 This is nothing personal, Windos.   it's just little Valder trying to be a good person.

Well, as I said to Phantom, he's an empath. Unlike with Shiva, though, he understand perfectly well what has caused those emotions...At least he was kind enough to give a summarized version of his story.

If she react in such a manner, its like a siren going off in his face. One that he's confused by, but very noticeable none of the less!

I couldn't help but to have her react in such a way~ She actually hoped to get the book into her hands to read through it alone in the security of her mystically-upgraded room for nearly the whole night, but the thought that she'll do so with Ven by her side and in his dorm on top of that knocked her out of her stride a little!

Lolz. He's indeed quite oblivious when it comes to romantic things, is he? But his confirmation that he doesn't mind her sleeping over in his dorm surely eased her a little. She might still be nervous between the lines, though, but that's just a normal reaction from her side and has nothing to do with him or feelings she might hold (which she does not - yet?).

Oh, he's not oblivious at all to romance (Remember Sochi, dear?), its just that he doesn't quite equate those feeling yet with Shiva yet. Your character is 19, while his is 26: that's a huge gap of experience between them. When Ventus first Came to Castelia City, he was 10, while your chara was just 3. He habors some feelings for her, but he's very reluctant to ever acknowledge them, given that age gap. That, and its usually the female that introduces the desire to get to know him romantically, in his experience....

Shiva does not hold any romantic feelings for your chara, though. She's fine to be close and dear friends with him and values him quite much for his experience with Pokemon, the knowledge he has and the fact that he did not gave up on himself yet although he has had to go through quite a lot in his so far life! To get her to develop any feelings into a romantic direction, some shenanigans from @Iron would be needed.

Ventus is in love with your chara just yet either, but its slowly but surely getting to that point.... Just keep at being sweet and kind, and soon you'll have a loyal boyfriend that would do anything for you!

Oh, and I might be leaving soon to go out and each at a fancy restaurant, so I might no be able to respond to any of your posts in the Game Thread for a couple of hours or so. Oh well...

after watching a fight break out about a 19 year old and a 26 year old dating it makes me question why even date in the first place, but I think people should follow a standard I have on who I date and whatnot (but im still single) the limit is: must be within a same age or have a year difference from birth as me (example im 17 and a girl I like is 18 I find that ok but im 17 and a 14 year old likes me I wont date her) and the rest are standard I set for her and me such as, same religions, hasn't had a sexual relationship with another guy before, has a neutral stand point in sports (meaning I like the Russian Olympic team and she doesn't have a favorite team so she will like the Russian team over the other teams) and stuff to do with religion
