Noibat describes to Ventus that Nathan has some kind of Butterfree-shaped charm on his person!

Ventus already knew this, of course, having given it to him in the first place.

Nathan's startled by the bat's sudden frisking, falling over in surprise!  Kirlia is winding up a quick Confusion in response!

Fortunately, Ventus was quick to stop the intrusive actions before they got to out of hand.  Kirlia calms down, but is wary of Ventus's new companion.  Nathan gets up and dusts himself off.

"Well, that's not how I expected to be greeted, that's for sure...

"Do anything else while I was talking with some bugs?  Those chats went rather well, by the way.  Well, as well as they could have gone, that is."

Noticing Kirlia sudden animosity towards him, Lucifer tilted their head at them, before smiling and waving at them! He didn't mean to cause any trouble while gold searching, honest! Then, taking a closer look at the Psychic type for goodies, he discovered they were clutching a rather large purple pearl! Tilting his head, he gave a screech to Kirla, inquiring about the orb in its possession. While it may not be gold, its still valuable and interesting!

"I fought a couple of trainer to gain some funds to pay of my fine. Those battle went...poorly, so to speak, and I don't feel like talking about them now. *Sigh* I just wish I Reshirim would grant me some windfall in this matter. I may have dug my own grave in this matter, but I want to make amends now," Ventus responds, choosing to ignore Nathan's comments on that monsterous insect. If he choose to be kind to it, that is his own business, not his.

[size=small]How about a theme? Or rather... A small Horror Show!


Oh... Wishmur. A somewhat...pityful creature in her eyes to be honest. But the evolution line is good, that's true.
... Maybe it was just the fact that these creatures can be loud as hell, which went drastically against Shiva's taste.

Seeing that her new fox was rather eager to do something... "Ah... Alright then, lil' Fennekin. We'll show 'em. Boost up, please!" How neat. She was able to clearly seperate speaking to her Pokemon in battle and to the Trainer in battle. Both had a completely different feeling behind that, which showed in ther voice.


Orders for this round: Boost up with Howl. Even if the moon's not shining currently.
Effect: Raises Strenght by 1.
Accuracy Roll: 2 Dexterity + 1 Fight + 0 Intimidate = 3 D6dice
Additional notes: None for now.

"Alright then...well, at least Noibat here seems to like you a lot better than that Scyther.  The trade was probably for the best if its new trainer thinks they can handle it...

"Anyways, we should probably find Shiva and Valder and get going pretty soon here.  Any idea where they might be?"

"Well, fine! Then go and get your own herbs instead annoying me with it." It was hard to get through the aftermath of the Uproar. A pain for the ears... Lil' Fennekin wasn't very fond it either. After all, he was living at a calm and peaceful spot before and likely was no used to any noises apart from chittering of nearyb Bug types.

Wait a moment... Fennekin had useful ability, has he...? Powering up Fire moves when in pinch... Ohhh. Sounds good. Very good. "Fennekin... Pay it back with fire, please." Nothing more than cold wrath in her voice.



Orders for this round: Ember-Spam! Until Whismur is down or Pain Penalization drops to -3.
Effect: Damage. Burning things up. Let's see what my magical fox is capable of.
Secondary Effect: Bug-Types around may shy away from the fire.
Pain Penalization: 1 so far.
Accuracy Roll: 2 Dexterity + 1 Fight + 2 Channel = 5 D6dice
Damage Roll: 3 Strenght (2 on default, +1 due to Howl-Boost) + 2 Power of move + 1 STAB + 1 due to ability = 7 D6dice
Additional notes: Blaze-ability has been triggered. Also 1 chancedice to inflict Burn 1 on the opponent. 7 dice on a Damage roll feels good!

At Kirlia's hostile reaction to his question, his eyes drooped as he began crooning in dismay. He didn't want the pearl; he was just curious, honestly!

Ventus was quick to pick up on his devil's distress, and gave Nathan a raised eyebrow at his Pokémon's  behavior, before responding to his inquiry. "Shiva is probably exploring the woods, given her interest in that fell place, while Valder was in the middle of a battle with a Miltary man. He seemed to be doing rather well for himself, but I do believe he bit off more than he could chew in that instance. He'll report to me eventually, as I told him we were leaving town today, so let us search for Shiva right now. I want to show her Lucifer, after all!"

Nathan just catches Ventus's raised eyebrow.  'That's odd...what was that for?'

Then he notices Noibat looking rather down.  And then FINALLY notices what Kirlia's feeling.  'Oh.'  

Nathan's a little disappointed in Kirlia's behavior.

Kirlia obviously picks up on this.  Does he care?

No, not really.

Nathan would have to talk to him about that later.

"Yeah, let's go find Shiva..."  Nathan sounds just a little distracted...

Ugh. More Uproar. But the fire inflicted had quite an impact. Oh, now she began to look forward to Flamethrower... And Mystical Fire.

While lil' fox was clearly in pain, he somewhat did not show that. In fact, the opposite case seems to be it... That feeling of determination coming from the fox...

Not much more than a cold wshiper this time. What a nice contrast to the fire. "Fennekin... I trust in your power. One final Ember, please."


Orders for this round: One final ablazed Ember.
Effect: Damage. Burning things up.

Another thing, in case I win, is it possible that Fennekin learns Psybeam directly after the battle using the XP he gets? I assume it will be at least 1, so it's enough to learn the move.
