I have one thing coming up that will give Nathan a chance to patch things up re: Kirlia's evolution. It also involves the Absol, in a way. But it's not a panacea, so there might still be issues.

The Almanac secret can't safely be revealed for a while yet, but my semi-metagame hint is this: talk to Valder.

Like all social games, it's important to be able to keep real life and character life separate. And balanced. Sometimes you might have to sacrifice a bit of what your char "would want" for what will make the game smooth. Or keep a lid on your personal reactions to what a character is doing.

Like all social games, it's important to be able to keep real life and character life separate. And balanced. Sometimes you might have to sacrifice a bit of what your char "would want" for what will make the game smooth. Or keep a lid on your personal reactions to what a character is doing.

Maybe unconsciously that's why I decided in the end to hint that my chara's secret has to do with bringing down The Almanac to prevent untimate chaos within the group. Never going to mention a thing of it all to the Daycare owners, though.

I hope something in my own rows evolves soon as well. ^^ Fennekin now has a stick which will later be the magic wand Braixen and Delphox carry, I took efforts to build a good relationship with Azurill and Helios and Cottonee is just waiting to reach Elanor.

Well, there goes my hope to have Ventus around a little longer and teach Helios some basic relaxation method... :C Hopefully some other day. Or rather, once the issue has been resolved. But not before I managed that job offer.

Ok, I can bull on that. If it can conduct research in other dimensions and are the equivalent of a super computer, they SHOULD be able to do this. GM fiat still rules, but I find it very hard to believe that a Porygon could not do this!

A super computer still doesn't have the ability to talk.

Porygon can certainly deliver an email, but he doesn't have the kind of intelligence necessary to talk or compose in language.

I'm fine with character keeping secrets, I just don't like it when the secrets cause in game and out of game discord. For me, the game becomes just a slog if an issue is keep interrupting the flow of the story. No one would have really chased after a Shiva secrecy mission with such vengefulness if you didn't tie it into Ralts evo. Ever since then, nothing but more and more problems have arisen from this than any hood...

All the secrets that my own character has that are remaining are do far completely irrelevant with the current game or story, so dragging those out without good reason is just dumb. Shiva' secrets, though, impact everyone in the party whether they know it or not, making keeping it just plain dumb if its possible for us to help or offer advice. Or at least stay out of it; if you know what up, you can better avoid causing bloody problems.

A super computer should have the capability of learning or at least simulate its own understanding into human language. If there is any Pokémon that can be on par with humans, it's a Porygon, to name one example. It should also be able to record voice messages and replay them to Nathan, or act as a sort of relay!

Really don't buy this, but GM call is GM call. His say is final on all matters.
