Nathan did say he's willing to talk about anything she might have questions about. That includes the topic of his depression and how he's been dealing with it, even if it is an uncomfortable topic.

I believe she is indeed capable to fiure out the 'why', but since the bridge between them is just in rebuilding and former wounds inflicted by the secret-mission-issues+why Ralts evolved have to heal up a little first aaand it's a uncomfortably topic that she struggle to openly talk about, it's a little unlikely that it'll be her who would come and ask questions.

There are ways however for her to get better! Lke leaving Corsage and a pharmacy.

Well, we still haven't told Shiva in-character what the gym leader is like nor what type he uses...I doubt it'd be encouraging, though.

She already does not want to right them , but informing them even more about them will just solidfy her refusal to enter the Gym . Of course , she has not told us about her fear of Chuckles , so yeah ...

@Dragonstrike , I basically just had my character tell everyone what Calder said to him verbative . Not sure if you missed that , mate .

*Hints* I already know a little about Corsage's Gym Leader (but not name or prefered Type) because he is mentioned and depicted in the Guidebook Professor Mallorn gifted me. That convinced Shiva enough not to get closer to him then necessary... He's a local hero, how should she stand a change against such a person?

Umm did we ever tell Shiva and Nathan of the two factons of scimitar ? I'm not sure myself , so I don't want to cause a continuity snarl .

I don't know what you mean by 'two factons' especially, so I assume you haven't?

Water and Earth Scimitars ? I think I told Nathan , but I will have to go back and check on this myself...

I don't know either... In-game I personally know that there are Scimitars, those from Route 1 seem to command the earth, that I own a book concerning Earth Lore and that Ventus found a door underwater there at the Healer's place near Wineberry...

Alright , I found it on pages 177 - 180 of the Game Thread . They do indeed know about that , as well as thier type preferences in Pokemon. Reading through that , it's kinda haunting how true my character words turned out to be ..

iirc, Shiva told Nathan why she didn't want to fight Corsage's gym leader already, and he told her what little he knew at the time as well.

It's not quite word for word.  Ventus hasn't said anything about what Valder had said about Water Scimitars and a repair job with red metal yet.

Good to know where that is.  Personally, I could have said Nathan at least knows, since I both remember Valder telling the group about the Scimitars and noted that information down on my character sheet immediately.  Got all sorts of interesting tidbits in there that are good to keep track of.
