[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
The effect of the attack will definitely still work. I think what I'll do for ghosts (who can phase, after all) is to reduce cover by one classification category.

If we were aware of this change, then we would have planned accordingly. Not very fun to spring this on us, mate.

It's ghosts. You could have figured it out; this is a compromise ruling. If they wanted, they could simply come down through the floor and up directly into Grid.

Either way, by the core rules, cover never evades attack effects, only damage dice. In some situations I may decide that doesn't make sense, but with Knock Off I think it makes plenty of sense to lose the item even when taking no damage.

edit: oh, forgot to move the damage dice onto Apsis.

Fair enough. At least Grid doesn't get hurt by this sudden change, so there is at least that. Hope Chuckles reimburses Nathan of his lost berry at the end of the match.....

It can probably be fished out or replaced. He's a dour gentleman, but a gentleman nonetheless. (and you always get your item back in the games)

In my mind, there forms an image of Ventus and Fennekin getting into a fight over the last cinnamon stick when Shiva isn't looking, and she is forced to stop the fight by dragging her fox away and ends up sharing the cinnamon stick between Fennekin and herself because she began to wonder how they taste after seeing Ven's reaction to them. Lolz.

Does that mean Cottonee's Growth would give +2 Strength due to the battle taking place under the Bellossom's summoned sun? I've planned to have the fluffball battle anyway before even knowing of the ship, but now this makes it more interesting.

I don't think that ability is in this game.

Ah, I was just wondering if Growth would increase Cottonee's Strength by 2 under the sun instead of the default by 1, because it does that in the handheld games in Gen.5.

And every generation after 5 as well. It's what made Growth relevant on Sun Teams in the first place.

Just in case you are waiting on me to see if I am making any order changes, I am not going to take the opportunity to. Right now, just trying to weaken both Ghosts seem like the best course of action.
