K, with the entrance closed, we'll be in total darkness and trapped in the base for now. ._. However, it's less suspicious on the outside if the entrance is not open.

It automatically closes after a short time anyways, so it's better to just get it over with and not raise any alarms by leaving it open a tad to long.  And if we REALLY need light, Nathan has Swiftfire and Starmie.

A bright Illuminate is far more likely to do that than a dim flame, though.

Ventus is not too happy within (To him) Nathan's rash/bold/uninformed button, but since he can't really do much about it now, all they can do is press forward....Ven also has to adjust his way of conveying information to others, since his body language is heavily restricted in the darkness.

Shiva is rather close to you, so if you'd gesture enough or emit very strong feelings, she might understand you.

Well, Ventus is probably going to ask for it back after everyone is done explore/pillaging the Water Scimitar Base, but he's giving it to you just in case everyone needs to get out and that it doesn't feel like she is completely abandoning him. That, and its a rather prudent/pragamatic move as well, since giving the Drive to a Teleport user is rather nice indeed....

That's why I had him gropp around in the dark looking for it first. I would use handwavium and say he recognizes the noise a Drive makes when dropped and then remember the delievery system that is employed with the statue, but its up to Iron, really.

Also, summoning large light source in a dark place draws a lot of attention, and Ven would complain about that as well, so ...
