Ventus gave the young lass a faint, almost imperceptible smile at her compliment about the tape and the Revive- 'Duck tape and WD40...solves just about every problem in the world! I thank whoever made these items, for they are quite useful indeed!'- but it was gone at the mention of the Knife. Placing a gentle but firm hand of their should, he silently shook his head at her remark, before he murmur a few words : "No. Worst comes to worse, I will be doing the killing. I can live with blood on my hands, but I don't desire you ever share that fate with me. Its not like I am unused to death, so I can...handle it better. Keep it for self defense, but please don't do something you will regret..."

The researcher only gave a firm, quick nod at Shiva's request/demand. He already planned on NOT messing with anything unless he's reasonably certain on said device will do, he has warned the group about said contraption , and come up with several contingencies and backups just in case they have to mess with it to progress. 'I'm glad to see that Shiva shares my sentiments when it comes to being properly cautious about ANYTHING here in this dark, blasphemous wizard lair. Regardless of Nathan....boldness and current apathy, between the two of us and Valder acting as muscle in case things go south, we should be able to survive this treacherous place yet,' Ventus thought to himself, admiring his dear friend's surprising amount of Will Power, before her next words caught his attention once more.

"Hmm....I suppose you are right, and it would prevent the wizard from IDing us later if we leave before he awakens. The darkness and the relative isolation of his post should keep him here for the time being, so I am 'content' with just leaving him here as he is. I'm ready to move out when you, Shiva, but what is your opinon on this matter, Nathan?"

'Unused to death'...Those words... Of course Ven was used to this and knew how to handle threathening situations.

His hand on her shoulder emitted safety and protection, and she greatly valued his touch and concerns. His headshake was barely visible to her in the faint light she was carrying, but his words already said everything. She whispered back to him in dangerously low and serious tone, it was uncommon to hear her in such a tone. But the situation called for it, and her will to survive and succeed on this mission were awoken... "Alright... I'll keep that knife for now with me. If worst comes to worst, you'll get it to ensure our safety because you're the better wielder. However, please don't even dare doing something that could get you or all of us in trouble with law, alright? "

Shiva then brought both Kyuu and the small stove a little closer to her, both to protect herself and express the will to move on. Before that could happen though, she looked over to first Nathan, then to Valder, silently awaiting their thoughts on the matters.

Somewhere deep, deep down, Nathan's incredibly annoyed.  Kirlia can only just barely sense it.

Just as flat sounding as before, "If you're all done with lingering here for too long, conversing with each other, and ignoring me, I suggest we move on before this guard wakes up.

"Kirlia be ready to use Confusion should we encounter any hostilities.  And if you sense any people or pokemon besides us as we proceed, do let us know before we run into them."

"Sorry about that, Nathan, but I figured that you really didn't desire to converse with us right now, after our...lecturing you. I'll try not to exclude you from our conversation in the future, so please forgive me... You do speak the truth, though, so let move along and see what else this underground house of horrors holds. Using Kirlia as a sensor as well is also excellent idea, so....Raphael and Lucifer?" Ventus calmly and politely said to the emotionally repressed trainer, before getting the attention of his own Pokémon that were watching over the sleeping guard for any unwanted activity. "If you would, can you help assist Kirlia by keeping your own senses trained for anything dangerous as well, and alert us prompty. More safeguards is better than less, you know."

"Nathan, there is no need to speak in such a tone with us. We need to speak with one another about things since we're down here together. If I or we would...ignore you, we would not have asked you on your thoughts what to do now."

She did not respond in an icy or just the same flat tone. No, she took efforts to sound calming to him.

Nathan doesn't respond to either comment. Or really react in any noticeable way at all. He just stands there with a neutral expression on his face, waiting for when they move on.

It's still very dark, so I need to know how you'll be moving on. Groping blindly, retracing your steps, etc.

Realizing that it moving around in the darkened correndor was going to be more difficult than he first thought, he turned to Shiva and gestured for her to lead the way, since she has a low light source to see somewhat more than the rest of them! He also places a hand on Raphael, and uses the highlty developed empathetic bond between them to extend his archangel's senses to aid navigation and detection in the darkness! He also sends quietly orders Lucifer to scout ahead and return if he encounters/sees anything 'dangerous' (He also show them paper/picture of the traps and empathically state that this is 'dangerous') , and to stay out of sight if at all possible!

'there's no lights down here... I wonder why. Not that I care'. Valder gets Ghastly's pokeball out and sends him out.
 "Ghastly, seems like you'll be helping us out some more. Ventus, if you want Ghastly to do something he's ready". Valder looks at Ghastly, "We're working for him, so he has the right for our cooperation, okay?"

 Valder didn't react to the negativity, he didn't really understand the depth of it, nor did he feel obliged to, he follows Ventus.

( I'll be going offline in some minutes, Ghastly is out and can be auto'd. If a fight is up I'd prefer if Theo is the one to go. He's raring to battle : )

Shiva carefully leads the way forward with her low light source. No one senses any traps.

She discovers two doors. One is hanging open (it's to the side of the corridor), the other seems locked (it's at the end of the hallway).

Through the open door, Shiva can see a small room lined with shelves. The shelves are covered with cans and bottles.
