It's more "exciting" to say a game is dead, rather than explaining how the original devs retired and some new ones took over. More dramatic headlines = more clicks = more ad revenue.

I never cared for Pokemon Go. Always thought it was a bit rubbish from the beginning , given its mobile nature. Phone games like that may work in Japan, but I don't take them seriously outside of them (even thought the mobile gaming market is ever expanding...).

Finally someone who seems to share my point of view in PokemonGo. Thank you, Windos.
Well okay then, the thought behind this "game" isn't that bad, at all, but there are many reasons I don't actually like it, or am not interested in playing.

Pokemon GO could have been good, but it suffered from a rushed release.

I would totally play Pokemon GO if I owned a smartphone. But I don't, so I don't.

When I see people confused on Youtube comments I always tell them the game's still kicking and point them to the subreddit.

Only Pokemon GO could convince me to walk 13km in a City I wasn't from at 2:30am.

And it was marvelous.

Fine then, I won't blame you for that, if you thought I actually would XD
*serious mode on* That was honest. I don't damn people liking and playing it with passion, it's simply that I MYSELF don't want to for reasons. Plus, I'd be too lazy to run around in the city. Plus, I don't feel like interacting with people about Go. *serious mode off*

Not everyone is a social butterfly (Like me, despite my ehm, presence here on the forums). I didn't like the idea of going out into the world and exploring, and the nature of a game leave little to desire for me. A Pokémon game is somewhat of a social experience, yes with all the trading and battling, but Go sacrifces the solo, personal experience for the Global one. That, and the game I heard was bugger than a bug ridding a dune buggy over a sandy knoll. I prefer being at home gaming, not walking around like a star dazed bloke.
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
