[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins

Well, I'm glad to hear you think I've made Nathan a fairly interesting character!  I have all of that info written down in my character sheet, btw, so I can resummarize if necessary (and as you are well aware, I put a LOT more info there, too.  If you think my info for Reiner's character sheet is detailed, well...).  The very, very basics from the start of the campaign are also still on page one of this Meta Thread along with the other starting character intros soon after, so there's that too (and it's a straight copy pasta from the character sheet as well).  Shame Nathan ends up at odds with Ventus so often, though.  I've been trying to cut back on that, but Ventus makes it quite difficult to do :/

I'm not entirely certain how long the current situation will last.  Ventus screwed up REALLY badly this time, even if neither of them knew just HOW badly at first.  The stubborn overprotective tendencies were bad enough, but when Mesprit became indirectly involved...hoo wee...at the very least, though, Nathan's not in a yelling mood, particularly after being stunned out of the majority of the anger and annoyance he'd been feeling the previous night...

Darn it, quit teasing me with your other character sheet! You very well know I love reading those in my spare time, what with all those lovely details and careful attention put into everything, so toying with my feelings like that...

One of the main reason they get into fights is that neither of our character will EVER concede on their point, unless their get into a fight, someone else intervenes (Most often Shiva), or something else happens that distracts them. Ventus is also, despite his extremely affable and friendly demeanor, a fairly brutal and unmerciful (Not to mention pragmatic) in most matters dealing with Wild Pokémon/various dangerous things, which rubs Nate's hero complex and Cheshirian value the wrong way quite a lot. That, and his constant paranioa/worry about his friend/strange things is as much of a hinderance to relations as a boon, so that just adds more fuel to the fire...

Essentially, Ventus is lovely guy to know and be aquanted with, and is about the one of the best friends a person can have (Those connections and cunning mind are powerful!), but he's a REALLY hard person to get along with the more you learn about him, unless you can form + KEEP an emotional attachment, and his amoral/Unfettered tendeacies only serves to push others away unless they are of a like mind...

Well, if things don't change within a couple of days, my character will just adapt to his status as Persona Non Grata and hang out with Heart/Shiva more instead of bugging them. My character knows when his company is not appreciated, and is perfectly fine (If deeply hurt) if Nathan avoid them for a long time coming. Such is the way that Ven works: Try his best to atone, and move on if it doesn't work out at all. Adapt, change, endure.

And lets dont forget Nathan is too a treasure hunter and have his own series of games. He is Nathan Drake:

I kinda like how disobedient Koa soft-encourages my Cottonee to act out her Fairy Type against the dragon in a mischievous and playful manner, I fear this might only increase as soon as I retrained her to indeed have Prankster Abilty as well as after her evolution.

And to get worse Koa have Rivalry Ability. I can feel a future rivality in the future?

Not sure how relevant that comparison is.  Nathan is a history buff, though, which is very odd for a Creshire native.

Also, I believe I mentioned his last name is Warren.  

Oh, and another detail is that he's ALWAYS wearing at least a light jacket (typically unzipped) whenever he's out and about, no matter the weather and temperature.  And Trillium is close to the base of an active volcano.  The extra pockets are handy, and he's got quite a high heat tolerance.

Nope, my Cottonee is female and I've read from your posts that your Axew is male, so no triggering of Rivalry, sadly. It'll be exactly the other way round, the dragon is a little relucant to fight against the fluffball. Sweet.

Rivalry is mostly for when your opponent is the same gender, though.

Nevermind, such things happen~ With Strength auto-lowered by 1 against Axew, both Cottonee and Azurill would feel like the Dragon Slayers they are. Muahahahahaha! (Sorry for this, Windos)

Hmmm...would Golda and Wir be fine with having Ventus along as well? From how they phrased things, it sounds to me like they're only inviting Nathan in addition to Shiva.

Shiva will surely ask him as well knowing that meeting a young Absol would be an interesting thing for a Pokemon Sociologist, but it loosely depends on what Nathan answers when she brings up the offer to either of them.

I think Phantom is the true punisher in this roleplay. And not in joking part XD
