Starmie moves before Azurill does since Azurill is paralyzed and has lower Dex as a result.  And just to clarify, the orders I sent haven't changed due to the switch Shiva pulled.

Kinda hard to be rude if you're apathetic.

This has been a very, very, very delicate time for Nathan.  And Heart has tipped things ever so slightly in the wrong direction while Nathan was already rather on edge, and things are going to quickly landslide out of control pretty soon if the trend continues.

At least Ventus doesn't despise/feel chastised by your spectating, Spirit, so take heart in that! Though, with the way things are going right now, I honestly feel like their is not going to be much to celebrate in the coming rounds...

If it wasn't for OOC reasons and the combat being enjoyable (for me and Ven) (And his own reasoning), my character would probably have forfeited/called the match to an end, and deal with the malestorm of bad juju that is taking up residency in Nathan's skull. Callam's and Kirlia's own reactions are not making him feeling any better at persisting in this 'cathartic' exercise as well, but let's see how things go before I/Ven makes a decision on how to ultimately handle this.

I will confirm OOC that yes, this IS going to help Nathan in the long run.  Not right away, but it will help.  

I've not been happy with some of the dice rolls (but when am I not unhappy with them, right?), but I have been finding the battle mostly enjoyable.

Good to know it'll help Nathan in the long run. Since in-game currently, it's doing no good to us others and Nathan himselfbit seems; Heart can prepare for being chewed out by the later (let's hope Shiva will be around to prevent worst, but since she'll need to reenergize after battle, depends when Nathan approaches Heart), she gave in to another overreaction that Nathan triggered (the third one so far...) and experienced quite a mood swing, and Ven has the task to not only do most to win the battle but also has to keep himself together and started to believe this match was a mistake. 

On the good run, I found it nice to see how he and my chara were able to bring joy back into the battle together to an extend and would be lying if I'd say this battle didn't became exciting.

I feel this doesn't matter much for the actions I gave the blue mouse, but nothing againt a reroll.

I just hope Nathan don't try to kill Heart (I know he wouldn't go so far, but since he "close" his feelings you can expect anything). Also I want to clarify that Heart have all his Pokemon out to cheer up everyone but if Nathan do something who could risk Heart life, they probably going to attack Nathan and since Nathan Pokemon is will be exhausted after the battle, that would not be a pretty result. Of course Heart is good in fight too a little (4 in strength and 2 in fight is there to prove).

According to the core book, 2 in a skill or attribute is merely average for a human.  Nathan's got 3 in all of those 2 categories (except Insight) and 2 in lots of specialties.  He's a bit like the group's swiss army knife when it comes to battle.  Gonna take a bit more than those two stats to impress Nathan.

Also, you do only have yourself to blame for the upcoming interaction between Nathan and Heart, seeing as you ignored your own advice and decided to spectate the battle anyways.  And then decided to reveal you were spectating even though you knew Nathan wasn't likely to be happy with that.  (Cheering on his opponents doesn't help any either)

Nathan's not going to literally kill (he's not THAT far gone yet), but he's certainly very, very displeased with the newcomer...

'Very very displeased with the Newcomer'... Sound like conflict incoming. *sigh* Shiva is there for you people to prevent it growing out of hands. Heart did nothing too bad in the battle, though still she'll have words for him (mainly to please not sneak on them etc., nothing harsh) and Nathan himself...well, due to soft-forcing her through the battle AND being unfriendly to Heart, she'll end up being displeased with him anyway. Though, forgiveness is a trait she lives out. (it's not endless, though)
