Perhaps, if Director North is willing to see you along with Ventus, but I don't see any reason why not, unless they and my chara begin discussing illicit info that needs be shielded from sensitive ears (Which shouldn't happen...at least I don't think so). If anything, having our charas together might make it more likely we'll at least put a foot in the door with them, so to speak!

I'd be happy to speak to the Director. Curious what kind of person he/she is! Plus, I feel like the receptionist already very carefully assumes that those two persons that came to the Shelter and are touring through it are actually a couple. (･ω<)☆

Sure, I guess...I thought Heart was going ingredient shopping, though?  That's going to confuse and maybe slightly annoy Nathan if he spots Heart, since he doesn't have any reason to expect to see the collector hanging around...(he won't be angry at Heart if he does, though. There's enough problems with Ventus as it is)

Ventus certainly didn't do anything to dissuade that notion, now did he? Shiva is his better half at this point in time, and is the primary moderating influence on his extreme behaviors besides just yelling him down from his Merciless approach, so having her by his side would help solidify each other's influence in other people! d ^__^ b

Okay @Iron, I've thought about things and would like to share these thoughts with you. ...Actually, it should be relatively feasible that Shiva does get both you-know-what from the Department Store and that Gothitelle from the Shelter. You took the effort to bring up a Pokemon with a background for my chara that I'd really enjoy seeing and growing beside her and even made/are making it some sort of challenge for her whether Shiva will be able to get it to like and obey her, I feel a little bad to throw that away... Plus, I like that you don't make it easy to obtain this Pokemon.

Thing is, the first thing should be affordable by the money Shiva already has, nothing special. As for the fine to adopt this Gothitelle, I'd sell Fletchling (Litwick is a decent hatcher already), Oddish (the important thing about that Pokemon was the book that it held anyway) and Snubbull (I like that 'Mon, but barely time to train it) PLUS the Dragon Scale she has AND some Shield Dust from her special Poochyena to someone of interest. For what remains then, Shiva will work hard at the Shelter every afternoon as long as the group is in Stair City until she can have the Gothitelle and pay for the pink Mystery Egg, and probably voluntarily afterwards. She'll offer this to Director North, alongside explaining why she would like to have that particular Pokemon and subliminally lower the price just a little. I'll leave counting dollars to your discretion. Of course, all this is only possible if Gothitelle would agree to travel with Shiva at all.

There are two questions I'd appreciate to have answered though, please:

1. How much Happiness and Loyalty does an adopted Pokemon start with? Same like an acquired 'Mon?
2. If Gothitelle agrees to travel with faelike/ocassionally gothlike Shiva, she'll replace Helios in my team as soon as he learned Ally Switch (since Gothitelle already learns Telekinesis via Lvl-Up). However, @Nylon, we can still glady trade for evolving Haunter whenever you desire to do so!~ Thing is, would it be possible to tutor Gothitelle in Teleport to still have this useful move always on hand? Would tutoring count as some bonding-time/ 'I know what I am doing, I show you that I'm worthy to be your Master'?

That only shows how much she desires for that astral Unovian Pokemon and puts the 'Mons that I likely won't get to train during this campaign into good use. All for in-chara reasons and to have another strong Psychic Type on hand.

We can work with this. 

1. Their Happiness is going to be 3 if they want to be adopted by you. Their Loyalty will usually be 0 or 1, however.
2. It's not on any of Gothitelle's lists, so you would have to pay for the Surprise or become a level 5 tutor and then get GM permission (I'd approve this one). A Surprise Teleport would be 20XP to unlock plus the XP cost of learning it on a comparable Pokemon, the latter of which you could replace with Move Tutoring rules.
