[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
So, I was doing some research about delta pokemon (and when I say "research" I mean play a lot of Insurgence to have good reference) I meet this:

Its call "Armored Leavanny" or something. "Armor" its some type of item held by a pokemon to increase both defence and Sp. Defence...and changes the physic of the pokemon like a true armor. Cool concept I guess. Its even have a Armored Zekrom.

Yeah, I remember reading some stuff on the Insurgence wiki about that awhile back.  It's something they did in Zeta/Omicron too. Sort of.  Only Mewtwo got it in those games (cuz Team Rocket plot stuff).  It didn't do anything particularly funky, though, iirc

I don't remember if the armor thing works with Mewtwo in Insurgence, but I do remember it has some fairly strange effects on the pokemon compatible with it.  Not something we're probably going to encounter in Creshire, though, so I wouldn't be too concerned about it here.

Well, I remember the Mewtwo armor exist in Insurgence. And one another point it the Delta in Insurgence, ones I look is....pretty awesome. The Delta Halts evolution line is pretty cool. Eletric/Ice. Heart might problably show a image of that evolution line to Nathan and his Kirlia. Perhaps Kirlia would be surprise/annoying to see a Ice/Eletric counsin XD

*Nathan, not Reiner

Don't go mixing universes here, now.  Reiner's breaking enough fourth walls as it is in the Celadon campaign.

There's also Psychic/Fire (or maybe Fire/Fairy or pure Fire?) Ralts, Kirlia, and Gardevoir in Holon (courtesy of the TCG)!  If you think the normal Ralts line is passionate, well, those Fire type ones probably turn it up to 11!

Oh, and there's also instances of Psychic/Steel Gardevoir in Holon as well.

Sorry, I mix the names sometimes ^^" playing two Roleplays this might cause that (like a certain Corsola Pokemon). I didnt know about Psychic/Fire and Psychic/Steel. This pretty neat.

I'm very certain that both is not possible, dear. Like, Shiva doesn't even know enough about Rain Dance yet to tutor this move.

However, if you're going to call Professor Mallorn tonight, it'd be cool if you'd let Shiva join! Good chance to show and ask him about Poochyena.

.....Cripes, Shiva is one scary woman we she's motivated enough. I'd completely forgotten about Rotom overstepping Gothitelle's boundries, otherwise I would have had Ventus bring that up as another point of caution/dissaution against taking Rotom. I'm working right now, so right now envision that Ventus is just too stunned by his dear friend no longer acting so dear and remembering that tiny little fact a moment too late, while Lucifer has decided to flee into the confines of Ven's sweater. There is safe haven in that tweed, I tell ya!

Oh, and yes, even more tension between party members of the group! Lovely. I thought we had our fill, what with the interplay with Ven and Nathan, Orthros period, Pinsir lurking around somewhere, but now we have Rotom to add to the list of Grievances We Will Inflict Upon Ourselves, or G.W.W.I.U.O for short. On the bright side, at least my character or Nathan's isn't kicking up shit storms this time!

EDIT: And Nathan is actually being pretty reasonable about this, with short but sufficient rebutal. Huh.

I feel like Shiva's ice is rather uncalled for here.  Yes, Rotom crossed the line.  But any other pokemon that did so would have likely gotten the same treatment, and I doubt Rotom is eager to annoy Gothitelle again.  Magic Room is fairly harmless, but Psyshock definitely isn't.  Particularly after a Heal Block...

A quick word from Ventus or Director North about that should hopefully loosen the tension a little...

I'm afraid to say, but I agree with you completely. Nathan didn't and couldn't have known about Rotom's past exploits, and he was just having a semi casual discussion of obtaining it for himself with some fair advice and warning from Ventus, so I honestly don't see much reason for that level of backlash unleash Shiva is REALLY sensitive/defensive about the wellbeing of her Gothitelle. Which, considering her fascination and slight reveration with her, is certainly within reason for them to act that way, but its still a shock to the system, and a mostly unjustifiable one at that. Looks like Ven will have to run damage controll when he finally snaps out of his shock induced state....

How bad is Heal Block, really? Sure, it prevents healing, but it wears off after 4 Rounds and doesn't make wounds any worse, unless the DM decides to make it that way or creatively interpreting 'Forcing Wounds to Stay Open' (Paraphrazing here)....

Well, considering it keeps wounds from closing, I imagine it also prevents pain from fading (Psychic attacks don't exactly create open wounds).  And if Heal Block is in effect, nobody can interfere to heal the afflicted pokemon until it wears off, which would give Gothitelle plenty of time to do as she pleases to the offending pokemon as long as nobody KOed or recalled her...and if Gothitelle is feeling particularly malicious, she could keep using it every time it wears off to torture the poor, pained pokemon.  Semi-permanent pain would be...unpleasant, to say the least.

That's just the way I'm looking at it, though.
