[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
@Dragonstrike : Umm, not to rush you mate, but what's your starting bid on this encounter's Ninjack? Or have you decided to opt out on this?

I am kinda curious about the next set of encounters. If I recall me and Nathan have three encounters slots right? I remember someone telling that (Windos or Iron telling me that I think).

Isn't it irony how defeating a swarm on Ninjask was supposed to maybe resolve a few things, but now it ended in potential more conflict... Agree to disagree?

Well, it's true to Nathan's character to at least try. Hopefully they can reach some kind of agreement or make some progress. Maybe Nathan has a plan.

Well, they did Lethal Damage to Ventus' Pokémon, when the Pokémon could have driven off or Fainted Apsis with non-Lethal/restrained Lethal moves en mass, so that more of less puts them in the shit list for DEATH AND RETRIBUTION. If Apsis is allowed to eat the Pokémon without Nathan calling Ven/Apsis out on them, then things can more or less remain as it is: stable but negative, instead of quite negative.

Their is a reason I went straight for bidding, instead of arguing for Ven's case or making a post in the game thread indicating he wants to do that: At this point, Ven believe its a complete waste of time to rationalize/convince Nathan the validity of killing threatening wild Pokémon, even if he does agree now that its not ALWAYS necessary to do depending on circumstances. If I recall correctly, Ven actually said the next time 'hangup' came up, he'd just straight up kill the offending wildmon instead of talking it out, so if bidding happens and I win it, that's exactly is what going to happen (Well, he'll just let Apsis eat them, but you get the point!).

It seems that conflicts can lead to interesting choices and developments, but at some point it gets too much. Still I feel that due to the drastically different mindset/background of everyone in the party, disagreements that may lead to arguments between our charas will always further occur. Shiva has adapted to the niche of bringing some calmess to the group and mediate if things are heated, but even she wasn't safe from conflict with both Ventus and Nathan.

I can relate to that, honestly.

Well, in defence to for the Ninjask we kinda invaded his territory so they only trying to protect his territory like any animal. Ventus must be glady there is no Ibama in this because it would be a dificult situation to explain. Its like the situation: If a thief enter in your house and everything, you will try to talk with him or something or are you going to blew his face? You will protect your "territory" so...I think KILL or DEVOURER the Ninjask its a bit....drastic.

Wild Pokemon seldom have the same concept of "holding back" that a trainer has. That's a learned skill. To a wild Pokemon's mind, there's little difference between fainting a foe Pokemon and killing it. This probably leads to lots of conflicts between the mind of Ventus, Sociologist, and Ventus, adventurer.
