Well , Nathan get the coords of it last location and a general description , Ventus and him could use thier Flying types to sweep whole swaths of where it could probably . I honesty want to try an find it before battle / catch it at this point , regardless the amount of effort it takes .

Ehm, seeing that it's getting later and later here at my place, @Iron, feel free to continue my playful (hooray!) battle with Seaking by having Yena use one Bite per Round with 4dice in Accuracy with that -1Pain and 7dice in Damage. No fainting of Seaking if possible, and stop and wait for my input when Yena reaches 2hp or lower.

If Ventus ends up getting the opportunity to face and possibly catch the Ligno, Shiva will also tag along. Windos told me he'd appreciate her support on this, and nothing speaks against attempting to catch this creature in her view (once getting to know/see what it actually is).

A quick question Iron. What is the type of this Ligno? Rock/Normal? Normal/Rock?

A Gust attack was normal effective on him.

Still could be Rock/Grass or Rock/Bug, which would suck because that renders it immune to Spore/Sleep moves, but that will not be known until further tested.

Also, I just realized something that about Nathan's getting Ditto, which grates on me and takes the joy out of him getting it: It might force me to have Ventus leave the group, if he plans on doing with Ditto and breeds MORE Delta Houndour. The only reason he's tolerating just Nathan's dog is because he's bound by a promise and NEEDS to work with him, but he's going to STRONGLY AND MOST VIGOROUSLY OBJECT to breeding more of what he considers abominations that don't deserve to exist in the waking world, much less exist to begin with. Even if they keep it to themselves, Ven's going to be keeping CLOSE watch/tabs on Orthros, so eventually he'll find out about Ditto and put two and two together, and conflict WILL ensue.

If you save breeding until after the campaign is finished, then that will be less of a problem, but Ven plans on living in Cheshire and continue his work as a researcher, and would start his own campaign to demonize Delta Houndours once he got word of Nathan's plans to do everything in his power to ruin such an effort, or in his eyes protect the public by warning them about them. That, your character honestly stands to gain much from selling the thing off to get TMs/Rare Items/Lots of Poke to spend that would help on the current quest, rather than keep Ditto and box them for the rest of the campaign.

That's my piece on the matter. I'll wait and see what comes of this before I make final decisions.

Heart might perhaps objects too about the idea to breed delta houndors if he find out about the ability of the species in travel between the awake world and the dream world. And even join Ventus to stop Nathan in EVEN try that. Because like Heart say: Any Pokemon is dangerous, but some is more dangerous then others. A whole group of Delta Houndoom? Nope. Heart it maybe a Pokemon Rare Collector with fascination with rare pokemon, but dangerous pokemon who can ENTER and HUNT in the dreams? To much to his taste of adventure. He have adventure but he is not reckless.

Yeah. Filled Cheshire with a bunch of Pokemon who invaded the dream of people, kill them AND cause fear, chaos and genocide. Its already bad a Legendary Pokemon like Darkrai who can control the fears and nightmares of people. Now, a bunch of Pokemon Delta who cause damage insite and outside of the dream world? I dont know who is more evil. The Almanac to give birth to this type of Pokemon, or Nathan who is might even consider the plan in breed the Delta Houndoom. Its even worse then the time the plan of Arial (in Celadon City) in copy the form and DNA of Mew using a Duplicat.

Nathan is far from being reckless.  He has a plan in place.

Whatever the plan is, if it involves breeding Delta Houndour in ANY way at ANY point in time, then Ventus will unilaterally object to it without fail or exception, and I'll most likely be forced to replace him with my backup character in my campaign since he's powerless to do anything about it beyond just outright abandoning Nathan for his actions and 'raising' awareness about what they are trying to do.

Ixnay on directly comparing the two campaignsnay, especially since the circumstance surrounding those two actions are VASTLY different.

The Houndour didn't also cause Genocide, but they did practically drain the energy/what little happiness their was out of Corsage during their reign, and could have potentially done worse/SPREAD to other town if left unchecked for any longer.
