In the morning of the next in-game day sounds like a good thing, same with Shiva brining Kirlia using Lucky Chant towards Nathan. She'll up and awake uncommonly early the next day for a purpose.

As for his interactions around Braixen, he'll avoid causing trouble with them/avoid so long as they do the same, but if they direct any aggression towards him he'll have Apsis Pokeball in hand and ready to sick her on him if he tries to act upon those feelings. He won't since he's loyal to Shiva, but Ventus doesn't trust that will hold out should push come to shove...

I feel Braixen wouldn't be too much afraid of Apsis as he's a future Psychic Type and can ward her off with his enlighted basswood stick? At least technically, but it does not matter too much, as 1. Shiva will prevent any conflict between her fox and his snake by recalling Braixen into safety and rest before things get heated, 2. it's comprehensible that Ventus wants to protect himself from her fox, so not blaming for keeping Apsis's Pokeball ready. Ready, preferably no summoning of her.

Inferno is harder to use than Hypnosis is, though.  If I'm going to use it, it's going to be for a GOOD reason, not just because I can.  (And Swiftfire doesn't know any other fire moves with more than 2 power so far, so don't worry about her overpowering things too much unless I give the order to use the also Lethal Megahorn, which is currently her strongest attack)

Stage of evolution also isn't everything.  Yeah, fully evolved pokemon have more HP and often learn a few moves for 0 exp, but Nathan's operated on using a lot of unevolved pokemon for most of the adventure so far and done just fine.

Well, I know its not everything, but indeed helps a lot to survive strong attacks.

Yes, yes it does (but Fire Blast and Flare Blitz hit harder though.  Inferno is 4 Power, Fire Blast and Flare Blitz are 5.  Again, the main draw with Inferno is the guaranteed Burn 1/3).  Why do you think I'm stockpiling Will points? If I NEED Inferno or Hypnosis to land, then that's my failsafe!

And Nathan's not going to use Inferno against the group...probably.  If he DOES, though, there's one thing you can do to counteract it (and Hypnosis) really easily: evade.  It has -5 Accuracy, so even with my huge dice pools, I'd be working with -7/8/9/10 accuracy, depending on when I use the move and how many actions I take.

Moves with huge accuracy penalties are really difficult to land if conditional evasion is a thing that's used, tbh.

Notes: I dont really know how it work with pokemon with double weakness. And Rock Tomb reduce the foe Dex.

Really simple, thankfully.  The move does an extra +2 damage to the target.  Which hurts.  A lot.

Darn. Oh well, Shiva and Ventus will get to that point eventually, so I'll just patiently bid my time until then, hehehe.......
