They NEED to save Star City and maybe the world, and they dont have much time to make Nathan feel better everytime he loose a battle. Nathan, Ventus and Shiva its not the only ones worry about Star City, but Heart too for all Pokemon and people there, and the inocent lives who was in danger. Thats why he say that words to Nathan to see if he can act or antyhing, because if not...he will go foward not waiting for Nathan. The only one who can help Nathan its Nathan itself.

This isn't just because Nathan lost a battle, Spirit.

No, but Heart and Ventus' sentiment about his moment of weakness still stands: now is NOT the time to succumb to it, but power through and get the Vine and the various matters connected to it sorted out, THEN have time for self reflection/being miserable. Head in the game first, then sorted out Nathan's insecurities/bad feelings second!

Rage mostly leads to actions one would later regret or to shutting down, plus Nathan doesn't seem like a person who can take scolding very well, remember how Shiva broke him back in Arrowroot. But, maybe that eremit (I'm calling him like this now until a name comes up) now noticed having guests, lol.

Oh, I happily agree with that.

"OW!  Gah, that hurt, you dummy..."

Nathan rubs the back of his head, still sorta sullen, not looking at anyone else.

"...keep going then.  What on earth do you need me for, the guy who can't seem to get anything relating to this prophecy done?"

Kirlia looks and feels really sad and tired.  He mimes talking to the rest of the group, though.

Thats it. Time to go foward and complete that mission. Heart already give up in trying to cheer up Nathan.

Nathan responded in kind, that's all.  Name calling is a rather...bitter topic for Nathan.

And as Phantom said, Nathan doesn't really do very well with scolding and aggression.

Jeez, people, stop arguing about that, let Nathan do his part in his own tempo.

Which is rather convenient quality to have when it comes to characters gets called out for any mistakes, dodgy decisions, or bad attitude/behavior, me thinks, since it hinders such critisim and blaming from being effective AND discourages others from doing so. Was this a intentionally decision, Dragonstrike? Because if so, its working out rather well as it forces our characters to find different ways to motivate Nathan/get him learn and stop being so hard on himself, etc. .

Agreed. Ventus personally doesn't see or understand WHY Nathan is being so moopy and depressed even though he's the bloody empath of the group, since their Insight, assistance, and general support is what got them that far to begin with, and instead of celebrating or accepting this fact he instead goes the into the opposite direction. As such, my character is just going to leave them alone and ignore them unless given reason not to, as he knows trying to speak with them now would be a pointless, painful thing for the both of them...

Windos, lets drop the fact okay? If Nathan want to act like that lets just follow the main mission and save Star City. We already do everything we could. Nathan issues only depends in himself now. If he want to fall to a deep of self pit, its beyond us now old friend.

Well, here's an idea: follow Kirlia's advice.  He's trying to tell you guys what you need to do to help Nathan here.
