[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
10280 - 10536 steps To be exactly. Even with Flame Body it will take a lot of time. But its better than nothing. Who knows? Perhaps with luck it might come something interesting I dont know. And its helps a Pokemon with Iron Head help another pokemon to learn? Its possible?

Also, you by chance have Beliadon, Frosthra, Navighast or Fafninter to trade? I close to complete my Pokedex to get the Shiny Charm. I will trade back.

This is not really the thread to discuss this, but I have Navighast and Fafniter if you're in need for their Dex Entry. Send a PM if you desire to trade now.

Yeah, breeding them is a pain in the games.  The only pokemon with longer hatch times than Beldum and equivalent bred pokemon are, predictably, most legendary and mythical pokemon, which ventures into the realm of cheats and hacks.

Those Move Tutoring rules I copy-pastaed in the Celadon Meta Thread have all the info you need regarding Move Tutoring.  I told you to take notes, no?

Well, yes, I have a Navighast, but that's it as far as those 4 specific mons go.  Those are all level up evolutions as well, though.  A little time and elbow grease is all you really need to complete the dex at that point.

No problem. I just need the Navighast for dex reasons. I will give it back.

Now I make the notes.

I think Phantom's already offered to cover that one along with Fafninter for ya.  Though, as she said yeah, this isn't really the place to be discussing this topic, so...

No need to worry anymore Dragon, Phantom help me with the trade. Anyway, putting that topic aside what you guys it would cool to make dinner in game? Some pasta with spaghetti? Or something simple as sandwitch?

Any vegetarian dish without any supsicious plants would do from my side. Something for our Pokemon to eat as well would rejoice Shiva.

Take Down also isn't the only move in an untutored Beldum's arsenal.  It just happens to be its most powerful one.  There's also Strikes and Knockdowns for dealing damage if you REALLY don't like recoil.

As far as teaching Iron Head and Zen Headbutt goes...well, Metang and Metagross learn Zen Headbutt by level, so that's probably going to take that off the table for the most part.  As for Iron Head...well, you have an Aron with the move, no?  Should be plenty of material for getting help from another member of the group with teaching the move if you don't want to spend points on Move Tutoring yourself.  Probably would be Ventus, since he doesn't actually have any problems with Steel types.

Of course, Beldum have one of the looooonnnngggest hatch times in the games, so it's probably going to be awhile before you have to worry about raising a Beldum.
@Spiritmon
Well, Ventus would be willing to Tutor Iron Head to Beldum, especially since it would be good practice for his budding interest in the field! It'll be awhile before we get to that point, though, so I wouldn't get too eager about it just yet! If its possible, however, another person could get a Flame Body/Magma Armor Pokémon and/or one of those Non-Almanac Fast Incubators to speed up Egg hatching time. I plan on getting a F.I. myself to make hatching Eggs faster for Ven, and may get a Pokémon with those abilities to further accelerate the hatch times! Going to seriously put a cramp on party space, though, but fortunately I have PLENTY of powerful Pokémon to play around with to make up for that hurdle.

Ven would be fine with anything, really, as he isn't picky like me IRL. He would enjoy a dish with actual meat in it, though, since its been literal ages since he's had any, and he quite enjoys the taste! Of course, given Cheshire's extremely high respect for Pokémon and most of the group's sensibilities, my character's not going to eat any meat unless he does some hunting/cooking in private/finds a specialty shop in Stair that serves it (its a big city, so it should get lots of traffic from tourist that want a taste of home....) .

May reasoning for liking meat is linked to his origins as an Opelucidian, who's close ties and veneration of Dragons could have lead them/some of the city's population to emulate their beloved types dietary traits as well as providing for them....
