[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
Well I think its wortly a try. Even thats bring some wrath of Ventus, Heart make a vow to help protect the nature so that Earthpower might help. Besides, some Pokemon with Ground-typing to be add would help a lot like Clauncher with ground-typing. And if I knows something about RPG it is: If the master "allowed" that option in the game, so thats mean we might need in the future. Like inside the Skull Ruins. Also I can finally use the earth and ground puns I have in mind. Also Heart is kind of a independent person, so he follow the path of Earthpower, he will. But he will not force Ventus to follow the same path and he will respect his decision. Unlike Nathan Drake, Heart its not someone who force other people to his decisions but instead he give freedom to choose. If there a person you can rely, its him.

Can we PLEASE stop ragging on Nathan for his social habits and choices? They're not even causing any problems right now.

And I don't even play Uncharted, so both he and I would very much appreciate it if you actually got his last name correct.

Nah is for just mess a little with Nathan. A little gag. Heart do that in purpose to mess a little with him. Besides since both is not hanging very good each other he still in do that for a loooooong time.

Besides is true Nathan choices and social habits is good now. But Heart is not someone who can easily forgot. "The past of someone can damn you" you know? Nathan will have to work a lot to regain Heart respect and a little more to regain any chance of friendship.

I know it's on purpose, both IC and OOC, and neither I nor Nathan appreciate it at all.  The gag is more annoying than funny.

Nathan has his own issues and things he doesn't 'forgive and forget'.  Ignoring him when he's seemingly ignoring everyone else doesn't help, particularly when he's been very, very clearly going through some rather big inner conflict.  Nathan hasn't really done anything wrong here from my point of view, so please don't damn him for that.

Well, what you to Heart do then? Simple go in Nathan and say something like: "Ah lets forget all of this and be friends, despite everything you did and say before and for you sometimes be anti-social and try to boss everyone when the vines come and for you not be to much friendly and for try to be friendly with you and you be a big jerk, but screw that!"

Heart is someone who is very honest with emotions. He is a open book so sorry if Heart simple give up in try be friend with Nathan and simple ignore him. Like they say: "Be friendly with only deserve." And Nathan dont exactly show many reasons to be friends with him. How you expect someone be friend with a person who dont exactly help in mutual help with companionship inside the party and its anti-social? Its a paradox! If you have the answear with you please enlight me.

Also as a side note I dont trying to create conflict here between me and Dragonstrike @Iron I just exposing my point of view in the currently situation.

Nathan's not exactly anti-social.  Yes, he prefers the company of pokemon more than people, but he doesn't outright refuse interactions with others if they approach him.  If Heart had approached Nathan, he would have interacted, and we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Nathan doesn't really dislike anyone in the party enough currently to refuse interacting with them (ie all the current 'conflicts' with him are mostly one sided), but he's very bad at starting those interactions himself.  He's been pleasant enough with Heart so far after he got over the...initial reactions, so take that into account too.

There's a LOT of pressure on him too, so anything pertaining to his 'responsibilities', he's trying to take as seriously as he can manage.  A bit over the top, yes, but an entire region is depending on him.  Of course, that same pressure, along with other factors, has semi-wrecked his confidence.

Nathan is rather...blunt with his (usually) factual statements.  He (usually) doesn't actively try to anger and annoy others, but misinterpretting what he actually means has been a...common problem his entire life (and this entire campaign).

In short: Nathan's not being 'friendly' because Heart isn't atm.  Nathan hasn't really done anything to Heart specifically to warrant this, so he's not trying to fix it.

Besides the fact Nathan give up in the middle of possible battle of life in death back in the cavern? When his pokemon was defeat he could send more pokemon to help the others. The result? Here:

...

...neither Orthros nor Kirlia managed to deal any damage before getting immobilized one way or another...

...so much for moving faster than ever before...

...Nathan doesn't really have the energy to summon the combee, nor give Kirlia any orders...

...and he doesn't have the energy to try digging through his bag right now to get his last Ice Heal...just holds the unconscious Orthros close and does his best to shield Kirlia...

Nathan's quietly withdrawing from the fight to let everyone else finish it off since they seem to have it under control.  The lack of self confidence is going to be VERY apparent now...

Nathan rubs the back of his head, still sorta sullen, not looking at anyone else.

"...keep going then.  What on earth do you need me for, the guy who can't seem to get anything relating to this prophecy done?"

Kirlia looks and feels really sad and tired.  He mimes talking to the rest of the group, though.

Nathan moves to the entrance of the cave, sits on the edge of it, looks out over the scenery while carefully holding Orthros...

Heart missed the point completely.

Kirlia's looking at Shiva and Ventus now...and they're too distracted to help...*sigh*...dang it...SOMEONE needs to talk to Nathan...he KNOWS at least one of them saw his miming...he sits next to Nathan, looking equally dejected.  He can't cheer Nathan up on his own...

He. Simple. Give. Up. We discover that was some sage trying to test us, but if not? In a Pokemon battle its okay give up. Even Heart give up in his battle with Nathan. But in the middle of nowere with a bunch of pokemon prepare to ambush people, its NOT the best situation. It was Nathan atitude who irate Heart so much. I only imagined when they meet Claydoll and Nathan Pokemons be beat and he give up like he did in this battle.

He understand the pressure he passing, but give up like that its the same as: "Kill me! I have pokemon with to still battling and yet I simple give up so Fury Cutter my head because my Kirlia is frozen and my Deltadog is beat!"

Two add in my two cents, Ventus is more than content to simply ignoring or not interacting with Nathan anymore than he needs to, since he's rather sore over Orthros, their interest in Earthpower, and simply is has gotten tired of dealing with them in general (or more accurately, trying to compromise with him or make him culpable for his actions). He's not going to give Nathan hell if he doesn't bother him, and will work/help them as needed, but otherwise keeping himself at arms from them seems to be the best approach.

Yes, he did.  And that had been building since Arrowroot.  Before that, even, but Arrowroot was where it started becoming a problem for him.  There were warning signs.  And Heart only compounded the problem instead of solving it.

Context is important here, Spirit.  That battle was just the last straw before Nathan cracked.  He KNEW an Extreme Speed from Raphael would likely end that battle, that he couldn't really contribute to it any more at all, and that he probably wouldn't get attacked if he didn't fight back.

His contributions to that journey to the cave were minimal in his view, consisting of Lucky Chant and putting together the puzzle pieces everyone else had dug up.  Nothing super meaningful for someone who usually is directly involved in the action himself.

Not 'generally' all actually, several of my Accuracy Rolls use Survival instead of Fight. For example Tropius' Synthesis and Nightshade's Morning Sun and Sunny Day.

Maybe in his personal view and that is fine, but both me and Shiva actually greatly appreciated that Lucky Chant, and putting found pieces of a puzzle together in a correct way is something that doesn't deserve at all to be discounted. I just wanted to say that, now I'll keep quiet again.
