True, since Heart wants to meet me and Ventus at the Shelter and do one more action he hinted, do we still have time to pick up that Herdier for the Pokepsychologist? I'd be fine if Shiva does that alone on her next shift which will be on the next in-game Day and we move on to the next matchups of Little Cup - after another paperwork shift Ven has fulfilled his agreement with the Director = can have Kingdra, while Shiva has only worked two days so far incl. today. I'd rather save my Willpoints for battles instead on using them for working doubleshift as I'm constantly relatively low on them anyway.

That's one of the pokemon Mallorn wanted (along with Dragonite and Keldeo). If Shiva is going to foist it off to someone, there's a perfect way to do it right there.

Or she could foist it off to Ventus, since he's the resident Dragon lover/Specialist Researcher , and knows more than a thing or two about poisons and such due to plant lore from mum + College! Still, Poke is Poke, so its not too bad of an idea to sell it off anyway.

That's one of the pokemon Mallorn wanted (along with Dragonite and Keldeo).  If Shiva is going to foist it off to someone, there's a perfect way to do it right there.

Or she could foist it off to Ventus, since he's the resident Dragon lover/Specialist Researcher , and knows more than a thing or two about poisons and such due to plant lore from mum + College! Still, Poke is Poke, so its not too bad of an idea to sell it off anyway.

Here's the dilemma, though:

On one hand, it's a poison type with a lot of profit potential.

On the other, it's an incredibly rare poison type (in Creshire.  It's much more common in Alola and Kalos if you know where to fish for them) that Shiva just spent a couple weeks hatching (even though I thought it was pretty obvious that it was going to hatch into a poison type. Purple is a pretty dang poisonous color in the pokemon world).

HeheheheeheHAHAHAHAHA! I finally got Kingdra for Ventus, and with them a powerful draconic ally to be reconned with! Of course, the hard work has only begun for the research, as he now has to prove himself worthy of their Loyalty and Happiness, or suffer their wrath! Oh, I can't wait to interact with them in depth!

EDIT: Well, I just learned that Twister is a Spread Move AND has decent chance to Flitch. With Dragon Breath (Egg) , Muddy Water (Also Egg) , Ice Beam ™ , and Bubble, Kingdra could also make for a decent canidate for the Necklace of Serenity! Mwahahaha!

Ehm, nope, I don't really feel like foisting off lil' Skrelp to some of the group, it also has 3 Loyalty to me and I have enough money currently so there's actually no need to instant-sell it. Poison Touch is worrying for Shiva, but with the gloves on during interacting with it it should be...fine, I guess. Science? Will contact Professor Mallorn or rather request towards Ventus to please join when he calls him himself due to that Wumple (besides, happy that you keep on working there with me, Windos! Hmm~), if he wants to keep it, he can if giving reasons why.

At worst, Shiva could simply send that Skrelp home to her father to take care of it for a while (if that'd be possible at all, GM's discretion) shall it proof troublesome in any way, but to her it's actually no issue to keep freshly hatched Pokemon on the PC. He's not very fond of poisonous Pokemon himself since that Nidoking-Incident, but will handle it with utmost care and carefulness. If raised properly from the start on, it'll be alright.

That Unown got me more thinking though, as it's certain that we WILL head down into the Skull Ruins sooner or later, I enjoy the thought of Shiva having another good reason to go in there, apart from treasures and to investigate that golem - escorting a small '!' to the Layer more of its species roam.

Ick.  That sounds nasty.  Three spread moves with decent/amazing chances to mass cripple everything...

More scared of Serene Grace Ice Fang than Ice Beam/Dragon Breath, though, since that's an 8 D6 chance of losing your next action at minimum...

The evil laugh is a tad unnecessary though, imo.  Well, mostly for the part about simply obtaining Kingdra, anyways...

Also, don't forget that Twister can also hit airborne (Fly, Bounce, Sky Drop) pokemon as well in the games (and it increases in power when it does, too, just like Gust and Thunder. Poor Sky Uppercut got shafted).  It's got a lot of neat effects despite being a really weak move.

Awesome.  Shiva's exceeding my expectations then.  I love seeing obvious character growth.

Should note that Mallorn specifically wants a Skrelp for his business operations, so it's not really for science.  Not really a mystery in-character either, as Nathan and Vincent would be able to tell anyone.

As for the Old Unown script that Heart copied down, Ventus decided to take a gander at it for a bit himself, both to memorize it and to see if he could glean anything from it (Ven may not have any Lore Specialty Points, but he is rather Insightful + Knowledgable, and I believe he's had a gander at the Old Unown + The partial translation a couple of times to decipher a few letters....)

Not really sure Ventus has nearly enough experience with the script to decipher some letters, particularly without any points in lore.  Instances of it that Ventus has seen were:
- very briefly glancing at Nathan's journal (Ventus only did this once so far, and not for very long).  At the time, Nathan was busy writing out what he'd identified at the time, and it was far from complete (and it still is)
 - Hidden Power on some wall rubble (Nathan's translated this)
 - The text from the mural in Mt. Sentry (Nathan will translate it once he's seen it)

Every other instance of the text showing up so far, only Nathan's seen it as far as the player characters go (nobody's asked to see what Nathan's recorded, after all).
