I love Heal Pulse as it'd be a great addition for my frequent Double Battles, but I'm too lazy actually to tutor it to Nightshade.
Thats remind me, we should test a little the double with teams of trainers. Since we might fight against the Scimitars someday in the campaigh, perhaps it would be a good idea to train the sinergy of our pokemons between trainers. Just a idea of mine. Per example, a double move with Light Screeen from Kyuu and Heal Pulse from Gustav. Or even more After you from Lucifer and Phantom Force from Viktor. Or other other: Inferno from Switfire and Bubble Beam from Azumarill. Just a few combinations come to mind. And working together as a team it help our group grown in strengh against nasty enemies and prepare us for the inevitable battle against Claydoll in the future.

He's a nasty Dark Type and according to GM's input he feels superior of a partial Psychic Type Orthros is, plus he got defeated by the Deltamon against the very odds! This may not have hurt his pride too much it seems, but it certainly hit whatever amount of pride Shiva carrys within herself. Plus, she wouldn't want to bring any of her Pokemon close to Orthros on free will, but let's just leave it at that and not stress issues that have already been discussed enough, alright?
Orthros doesn't really care about the type thing. A friend of Nathan's is a friend of his.
But on that note, Orthros and Kyuu definitely need to hang out a little more at some point. Also just sayin'.

Ortrhos might not care, but Shiva does. And Espurr's my Pokemon, I decide whether I shall let him hang out with the dog or not.

Double Battles have become something Shiva is pretty good at already. C:
Blue mouse's not yet an Azumarill though!

Edit Reason: Welp, that new post changed things.....somewhat.
)
Welp, Valder's screwed due to that mega Electro Ball hit, and Haunter will be eaten alive by either Calam or Grid no matter what. If this isn't proof why nobody OOC should ever challenge Nathan to a fight without heavily stacking the odds against him and gimping his Pokémon at every opportunity, then I don't know what is. And this is without Stat Boosting/Debuffing besides laying down Sticky Web......
Might be best to give up now and not draw this out any longer, @ Nylon , but that is just my suggestion~
In other news, I'm not going to be posting tonight due to studying for an exam tomorrow and writing my lab, so things will be moving along at a snail's pace for just a little longer!
EDIT: Apparently I spoke too soon, but Calam will still give Valder and his Pokémon hell, so the odds are still not in his favor unless Nathan decides to play non-optimally or something

Nope, not planning to use Calam, tyvm. Quick Feet (purposely didn't choose Intimidate) Mightyena-Ditto was my Dark type of choice for this battle.
I could have actually been evading from the get go, so I've been playing non-optimally for most of this battle. And the dice could still say 'Nope!' and make me lose a pokemon due to reeeaaallly bad luck.
Valder could concede, yes. But has he 100% lost this? No, definitely not yet. Besides, we're at a b-day party. Giving up in the middle of that wouldn't be very sporting now, would it?
And I'd appreciate it if you didn't encourage this mentality you've taken for everyone else. I'll have you know that I was the one who asked Nylon for the battle, and he accepted.

Didn't know either of those things, but I just assume by default that everyone's playing to win a given Encounter, so I apologize for that.
No, but as I said the odds are not looking favorable for him in my opinion, since Nathan has more Dice/DEX to go ham with Multiple attacks and/or brush off Pain for the most part, and all his Pokémon are powerful even with a type disadvantage.
I'll try not to complain about PVPing Nathan too much, but I won't stop talking about it if I think it would be more productive/fun for whoever is fighting the boy to not do so.

Heart face Nathan team and was quite tough. He was able to beat Kirlia (now a Ralts) without him have the chance to do anything. And Orthros too with Gustav if I remember very well. Unfezant was tough in that battle too. When got the chance, Heart might want to challenge Nathan again. He a lot stronger than last time with Clawitzer and Infernape.

Well, this might be interesting. Its Nathan going to return to the lobby after the battle? Is there something Heart want to give to him. And before you ask, no, he not going to begin a fight or anything. Just something it might catch the attention of him for a while. If you permitted of course. He not going to give direct to him, but though Viktor.

Hey, don't forget that you wanted to challenge Shiva at some point before that, and that I agreed to it!~ I feel this match-up has good potential to be interesting if kept friendly and for training purposes.

I agree. I gonna challenge Nathan way much after in the future, after I fight against Shiva. Heart need to get a bit stronger when face Nathan. And he kinda still work a bit with his fire pokemon (Orthros and Charmeleon). And I agree, the battle between Heart and Shiva shall be very interesting, and will kept friendly. Perhaps Braixen will unlock his powers and transform into a Full Powerfull Sorcerer Delphox during our battle like Rose became Infernape? This would something interesting to see.

And I am looking forward to that eventual rematch, I'll have you know. Don't expect Nathan's best friend to fall so easily the next time, though!
Yes, Nathan will be returning to the lobby after the battle and having a short talk with Valder, and yes, you may initiate something if you wish when Nathan returns. However, I'll also say that Ralts typically dislike conflict, no matter the source, by their very nature, so keep that in mind.

Neither of them really need any 'work' for the most part. As far as Heart's strength versus Nathan's...Ventus and Heart both have comparable combat ability to Nathan as far as stats go, actually (again, Calam exempted). Same strength, similar dice pools...Ventus has an edge bulk wise, and Nathan has an edge specialty wise (and just barely initiative wise). After those slight differences are accounted for, it falls to the strategy the trainers use.
