[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
(03-04-2018, 11:10 AM)PhantomUnderYourDesk Wrote: But the wooden gate the Nuzleaf let down seperates anyone from Shiva and her foes, making any interception impossible and trying to reason her will...well, pretty certainly not work. That Duddigon will be dealt with, one way or the other,  whether it will pay with its blood or not is yet uncertain. All the Furrets will be safe afterwards and can rejoice over no draconic predator pestering them more. ^^

Like I said, Nathan will probably be running into the aftermath Sad

If he can get there in time though to prevent death, though...he has something he could say to Shiva which might help.  Maybe.  I hope...

Oh, and since it's a wooden gate...an Inferno should eliminate that obstacle fairly quickly.

Safe for now or not, Nathan still wants to get Furret and her egg out of there entirely.  He's developing a...healthy respect for how dangerous the caves are...despite very few of the actual causes of that being a part of the cave's actual dangers...

Shiva will have time to recall the corpse into a Pokeball if she so chooses before anyone else gets there. It's her Encounter so she gets final say. There will probably be some evidence though.

I'm all for slaying the Druggdgen and having her go to Ven to butcher it later for themselves/their Pokémon to feast on, and the Dragon's skin/claws/Fangs could be crafted into Special Items with Shiva's help and Ven's book on Crafting with Pokémon parts! Sure, its a bit distasteful in this setting, especially to Nathan, what with his all loving/accepting attitude to even murderous/dangerous Pokémon that by all rights no one should feel bad killing if they tried to kill them/their Pokemon, but since Shiva and Ventus aren't natives that would be adverse to killing Pokémon and making products out of their corpses, they wouldn't have to many conniptions over it!

Even people from a culture that kills animals don't normally feel comfortable sinking their hands into a bloody corpse.

Ventus is from the underworld, so he has done this in the past, but no way has Shiva ever done so.

Druddigon is not edible, but its skin can be made into stuff if you've a mind to.

Iron, would that be indeed possible? I really enjoy this idea and it puts the dragon into good use as it wouldn't be killed simply because Shiva can!
EDIT: Oh, already answered.

Hmm, I only saw this post of yours now. This certainly is somewhat tempting, but I have no real idea what I'd like to have traded for that Druddigon and she already has these Nuzleaf, even if ony one of the pair so far. Probably no Pokemon as Shiva's busy enough with those she already has, money she currently has enough, the only thing that comes to my mind is some worthy Held Item or something that Shiva directly could put into good use + gives her a mechanical effect, like these boots made from Baashaun wool that give her +1 dice on Stealth Rolls. Possible?

Fair enough, but Ventus does come from an Opelucid that has a culture/tradtions around hunting and killing wild Pokémon for meat/other stuff, so its not just his time from the underworld that gave him the experience to 're-purpose' a Pokémon's corpse. Being a part of it DID help hone his skills, made butchering Pokémon even more of a non-issue, and expanded/opened up possibilities in regards to Pokémon Crafting, so horray for that?

Can Apsis at least eat the Druddigon? She hasn't had much in the way of substenance for awhile, and all those toxins inside her could breakdown and process its gritty flesh for nourishment. Up to you, though!

Nah I can't think of any Pokemon that would eat a Druddigon, not even a Swalot.

Nuzleaf are quite common and not very valuable.

If you want to go the trading route, think of Held Items like Leftovers or special Incense/Hard to Obtain items like the only be bought in Battle Fronteir like place, or maybe even Rare Candies, Evo Items (Sun Stone and Moon Stone spring to mind), and TMs to fill out the movepools of your Pokémon more. The skies are the limit for Rare Pokémon trades, so just think about what you want and try to haggle for it!
