Yeah, that was my reaction to, following Lilith nearly being made into collared greens by that Thunderbolt. Yeowch, that Raichu is brutal, with or without a Crit and Screech debuff!

Another thing you notice as you go through the massive Violet Tent: Nothing legitimately "magical" seems to exist unless it be something connected to Pokemon. All the believable supernatural items utilize Pokemon in some way, while all the magic purporting to be caused by humans is really just beautiful chicanery.

Pokemon are magic on their own it seems, very cool.

You know, the inside of the Violet Tent doesn't disappoint me at all, me and Shiva quite enjoy this place. Positively suprised that they even sell Eggs, will take a look at them as well as what Pokemon they sell next! Also, Iron, can Pokemon only be 'sold' here or can they (*Druddigoncough*) also be 'traded'? And is it possible to sell Pokemon on one's own as well - or, asking a little differently, could Shiva sell both Nuzleaf here for either cash or items from Violet Tent equal to their value? How much cash would she roughly get for these, is there a PC nearby just in case?

Also, you haven't come back yet to how much these Enigma Berry Candy actually cost - unlike to what the others hinted, am I actually interested in letting the dice decide whether Shiva gets some more Will and her Pokemon + or - 10XP, as well as maybe even one Enigma Berry on its own for a Rare Encounter.

Ven would strongly disagree that Pokémon are magical by and large, and just claim scientific reasons for their powers/abilities! If he's fairly intolerate/paranoid/suspicious/hateful about magic/arcane stuff, then claiming Pokémon are such stuff would irritate him to no end!

I actually like it myself, but if Ventus saw it he'd be quite tempted to see if he could get away with arson or who knows what else in attempts to purge the earth of such wicked, vile, fiendish practices (in his eyes!)! As it stand, Ven's going nowhere near that place even if Shiva tries to drag him there and their are nice goodies there like Silver Powder/Miracle Seeds and nice TMs! That place is just too horrifying/abominable for my character, similar to how Nathan can't stand the Dpt. Store due to Almanac's presense there!

Err, honey bunny, call me a wet blanket if you'd like, but I'd say you shouldn't buy those chancy items beside maybe the Enigma Berry, as that's just asking the dice to screw you over in creative and cruel ways. If you want the candy, you can always buy it and use it as bait for Pokémon you may or may not want to catch, as if the roll is successful they get free XP upon catch per candy, and if it blows you can just trade them away and not deal with the debt!

Well, it might help...maybe.

BTW, Nathan actually knows one more thing that might help with finding it, but I keep forgetting to bring it up.  Whoops.

I'm feeling confident it helps as this person, neatly called Mr. Finder, says he finds things and the Fortune Hunter often asks for his help, that's enough proof for Shiva personally. We'd have to share the cost for his hirering, I won't take them alone.

Ven will definitely chip in to cover the costs if it means the Secret Librarby/Other Important things get found sooner rather than later, though he'll do it by proxy (IE: Shiva) rather than ever approach his place of business!

Now you know how I felt when battling Valder.  Except arguably, Nathan had a much worse time of it when he wasn't dodging Valder's more inaccurate attacks.

High strength characters with high power moves are scary.  And they only get scarier when they have the accuracy to back up their attacks.

Side note: that battle could have gone MUCH differently potentially if Iron had remembered that Numel take +2 damage from Water attacks (Hanael would take only +1 after she evolves though, since her ability will change from Simple to Solid Rock, making Water her only real weakness as a result).

Haha, yes, it's indeed amusing how Shiva practically loves this place while Ventus hates it, but loves her. And the other way round.
There's so many potential for our two charas to hate and avoid one another due to their difference like night and day in such a matter, but I'm incredibly glad that we outplayed things without disaster and interacted with one another totally fine and dear. <3

Depends on the cost of the Enigma Berry Candy, but buying them and use them as a bait for wild Pokemon instead sounds like an idea as well! Though Mystery Berries for a free Willpoint are still a thing I'd like to buy, there's not much to loose apart from a bit of cash, which Shiva has more than enough currently (Spoiler, ~6000$). She's lacking Willpoints though.

Nope, she'd openly and unashamed tell Ven that she has booked them what could be called a date, add in that there they have an opportunity to sleep with one another if he'd be down with it, and dragg him there regardless whether he likes it or not.
Lolz, nope, nothing NSFW will happen and of course she'll discretly ask whether he'd be up for dinner with her at a place she has found.

...though I'm fairly certain you already had some sort of appreciation for high strength builds, based on how ya built Clair's battle...fast, strong, AND bulky.  Blegh.  I am SO glad her Gyarados got Horn Drilled...
