It takes a really perfect fossil specimen and some pretty impressive technology to bring them back. We do think, generally, their original appearances were vastly different. Some may not even have been Rock type in the past. Oh, I know you are interested in history - Aerodactyl bones can be found within the Skull Ruins. The King considered them an analogue to Charizard."

"I'll plan on paying her a visit tomorrow, then.  If you get in contact with Larry again, you should probably tell him about Prof. Laurelin.  That Omanyte we left with him is...kinda strange.  Not a Delta or anything, but it's still really weird..."

"...well, I assume you probably want to take a look at my Pokedex before I head out again?"

"Yes, though I have some idea of what's on it. It all gets reported to my PC. But things like Delta species can fall through the cracks. It doesn't know how to tag such a thing. So you don't have to show me all the Pidgey and Sentret you caught, but show me anything with rare moves, unusual typing, or hidden surprises that my equipment might not have detected. Or anything else you think is worth showing! Maybe I can work on a software upgrade."

"Well, for starters...there's the Shiny Unfezant I caught. Has Rivalry for his ability...and also knows Mimic. He likes to try and blend in with the magenta flowers of the plains since he's the same colors as them."

"Then there's...Ligno. This is a...weird one. They live in the Hog Potato Swamp. And they produce Ditto as if they were fruit over the course of months or even years, apparently. Caught my Ditto after dislodging it from a Ligno's branch. They're kinda dangerous, really strong willed, incredibly rare...and super duper slow. The locals look for them for the Ditto, but they leave the Ligno itself well alone once they've gotten the pink blob they were looking for."

"...speaking of Ditto, mine seems to be...kinda odd. When I first encountered it and Ligno...it immediately transformed into a Magnemite...except there were no Magnemite in plain sight at all...and it couldn't possibly have Transformed from memory because it had only just been 'born', you could say...and just two days ago, I tried using it in battle...but I sent out a Mightyena instead of the Ditto I was expecting...again, not sure how that happened, because I certainly haven't seen any actual Mightyena, of any variety, so far...I'm not really sure what's going on with it that's causing it to Transform into species it hasn't seen yet..."

"Oh yeah, we also kinda saw a Primal Altaria. Or rather, the South Wind in the form of a Primal Altaria. She gave us some down to warm the eggs we were carrying. My Castform over there, Forthright, is holding the fluff she gave me."

"...those are the more unique ones I've seen recently that are worth mentioning, I suppose. Though I will say Riff and Raff using a Water Absorb Wingull was also kinda weird..."

"...well, and I guess there's also Solomon, my Slowking, technically speaking. His crown is really...unique. And he can read Elder Unown. I've been working on translating the text with his help. It's been...interesting, to say the least. He's not much different from other Slowking otherwise, though."

"...and there's also Shiva's Pancham and Comite in addition to her Poochyena, I suppose...and Ventus's Quetzoral...Pancham with Bullet Punch and Tandorian pokemon that aren't being given out as game prizes like Tracton are kinda rare too...Sheldon from the Tandor region was actually visiting Dagny and was showcasing some of his home region's Steel types as well. And I got a look at his pokedex too, which was filled to the brim with various Psychic and Steel pokemon from Tandor..."

"...so, uh...yeah. Seen at least a few interesting pokemon, I guess."

"Oh, this is wonderful! Every Slowking is 'weird,' so to speak. Shiny Pokemon, especially with weird abilities, are hard to capture in a Pokedex automatically. Primal...Transform...Tandor...wow! And a whole new species, which we've heard only legends about! That will deserve a new entry for sure."

He pumps you for information on all your weird Pokemon. He seems really happy.

"Keep updating me every now and then when you find weird Pokemon. This is great! Great work, boss!"

Anything else?

Ah yes, then Nathan probably ends up mentioning the Shiny Nincada that Larry caught early on as well, if shinies are a big deal.  And that they caught a glimpse of a shiny zubat, but didn't catch it.  Not as weird as Masq, but still noteworthy.

"Yeah, I'll keep ya updated.  Should also note that the Sentry Shrine depicts a Mega Altaria as the Southern Wind.  The Elder Unown text on it translates to THE FOUR WINDS, for reference.  Couldn't tell if it was a Primal Mega, but it's probably worth a look since you'll probably be passing by it."

Well, that's probably everything.

Well then...Nathan looks to Furret and Forthright once back outside.  "Well, we've done some stuff I and the bees wanted to do.  Any places you two would like to visit or things you'd like to do now that we're all reenergized?"

(Excelent!)

"Great work you two." Say Heart when he pick the pokeballs of Starly and Vullaby. "That was a good capture." Then he send the two pokeballs to the PC. "I think that was a good test for the strengh of you two. Its been a while since your last battle Koa, so even a might young dragon need to exercise your claws. And Typhon, you did great in this battle. The control of you energy was impressive. Even in the end." Heart then decided to take a look in the two to see any different from them.

Mechanics: Check Koa and Typhon conditions to see if they are someway close to evolve to their next forms.
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.

"If you're reading Elder Unown, I should probably be referring you to someone, but I'm not sure who. Swing by Telperion with your findings."

Furret is looking around at the other Furret scattered throughout the city. Forthright doesn't seem to have any ideas, she's just being a cheerful baby.

Typhon is getting close to learning to produce his own electricity. You notice that it's actually helping him to be in a low-tech city. There's less sources of power around, so he would certainly benefit by using his own.

Axew evolves by proving his strength. That will probably happen quite suddenly, since he's obviously quite strong already. He just needs a chance to prove it.

('Most' Pokemon... that makes me wonder which ones are somewhat immune to the soothing chime?)

Shiva does thankfully accept the runestone back, and while taking it from Lilith's hand, she does something she has not yet dared doing before - hold the hand of her Unovian Psychic Type in her own for a few seconds longer then necessary - it's a soft, friendly and caring grip. She still doesn't think she's worth this, but there's clearly a semi-hidden desire to get closer to this Pokemon, Shiva's just somewhat timid about that.

Eventually though, Shiva lets go and safely packs the runestone away, as promised. Then impercibly sighs while casting a faint smile, takes off her glasses, rubs her eyes in some incoming tiredness, then puts it on again, casts a dreamy view up to the branches of the ancient trees again, then faces Gothy again. "Oh you... If it wasn't you, I would have likely missed these precious trees, or found 'em way later. So you deserve a small 'Thank you', I guess.... But, well... Is there anything I could do to not prevent you from wandering, I guess that's in your nature as you can read the future in the stars, but instead to let me know when something catches your interest so we could...head there......together? A-are you interested in displaying some of your psychic powers in a battle, or rather not? Usually Pokemon grow stronger by winning battles."

Heart nod his head in satisfaction. "Apparentely, coming to a city with low tech is helping you to produce your own energy source Typhon. The training in Mt. Sentry help us to understand the basis about energy field. Tomorrow we shall begin the training without energy field. You will now train the energy production. But for today lets relax. We are very close to our next step my little friend."

Then Heart look to Koa. "And about you Koa...you become strong. Very strong. You are not anymore the same inexperient little dragon I have meet. You grow up as a strong young dragon. You are more strong then our battle against each other." Then Heart open a smile. "I think you are ready to prove your strengh. In our first battle against each other, I have win. And as much friends we are now, I think you have a few things to settle with me my friend. How about a little spar? You and me. We both grow strong, so it would be a good chance to fight against each other and see what might happen. What you say Koa? You accept my challenge?"

Mechanic: Challenge Koa for a spar to give the dragon a chance to prove he become stronger! Since I still have one encounter left this is a excelent chance to help the dragon to evolve.

Lol.  It's on the list of places left to visit, so definitely something to consider.

Hmmm...

"Want to see what the other Furret are up to, huh?  Alright, lead the way, friend.  Ralts and I will follow your lead on this one."
