I'm happy to keep Vulpix a Vulpix for loooooong and probably even the end of campaign for the reasons you gave up there Windos, a pure Ice Type feels like a nice addition to Shiva's team.
Also thank you for that future Dusk Stone! <3

Technically, yes, but the only one that has this Item is Ventus, and its is the Necklace of Serenty, which as the name implies confers the ability Serene Grace on its wield at the expense of its regular ability being suppressed. Otherwise, no, unless Iron wants to implement Ability Capscles or other magical artifacts that do similar in the future.

Hail's chip damage is a right bug bear, though, so that's something to 'look' forward to dealing with. Of course, given the way the ability is worded in the Core Book, Hail conjured by Snow Warning goes away when the user is resummoned, so at the very least its not going to end up braining her own Pokémon. Working with others, though....yeah, that'll be an annoyance. At least it can be canceled by other Weather, though only Shiva has access to it right now. Oh one day, I'll obtain you yet Rain Dance.....
An Ice Stone could most likely be got through either Mallorn or Zamboni, as the former is known for working with Evo. Stones and might have some for premimum purchase, and the later is a rock/gemstone collecter (If I recall correctly) that is also the resident Ice type Specialist in the region. Regardless, its not like they'll have need to evolve for awhile, as it can't learn its level up move in that case...
Two, not a wise idea trying to manhandle Ventus around her, as a mischievous and Disobedient Ghost type very much doesn't like it when their trainer is the one being spooked. Especially after being subjected to a roughing herself just scant hours earlier!
Yeah, it's not a great typing defensively, but what it lacks in defense, it more than makes up for in power and coverage. Particularly when you get Blizzard. Or Freeze Dry. (for reference, the ? cost moves for A-Vulpix in the 1.2 version of the book are Freeze Dry, Moonblast, Spite, Agility, and Aurora Veil. Might be worth noting that down, if @ Iron's fine with keeping that @ PhantomUnderYourDesk, as they're all pretty decent moves, even discounting Aurora Veil's inclusion due to it being a Gen 7 move). Aurora Veil would have helped significantly by essentially reducing the weaknesses to just Steel essentially, but what can ya do when that TM only exists in Alola, right?
I'd be more likely to say Mallorn would be the way to get an Ice Stone, since it's only really commonly found in Alola due to it only evolving Alolan species (so far).
Nathan wasn't exactly thinking about that at the time, he was just kinda panicking over the whole Skull Ruins thing. I'm trying to hammer in just how BIG of a deal Nathan makes of those Ruins. Nathan normally wouldn't do anything like this, but...

Eh, excuse me, I said that I'm fine with not evolving Vulpix for now twice already and I know what moves Corebook 1.2 lists, I'd rather play with that small fox instead of the icy fairy Alolan-Ninetails is. The only thing that WOULD interest me is Freeze-Dry, but that is a rare move that has to be chain-bred so I'd rather save XP for regular level-up moves and happily use Ice Shard instead.

So, for comparison and funsies...
Shiva got 13 Perform over 3 Rounds (2 Perform and 10 dice total added to the rolls. Had 7 successes total in the rolls)
And Nathan got 15 Perform over 4 Rounds (also 2 Perform, but with 12 dice total added to the rolls. Also had 7 successes total in the rolls)

Lolz. Perform belongs to the Specialities I'll surely level-up, as I need it for several Support moves of mine, and it feels in-chara for Shiva to have many points in it.
Whoops, I also forgot about how 600$ is earned if the performance was decent - most of it wanders into paying for that room in B&B.

Guys, how many Encounters does everyone have left exactly? Due to all the jumping around and non Encounter piling up, its been hard to keep track of who's done what already.

I think I still have two. I can have three in total if I recall right. One I have use to battle against Shiva. So I still have two: I gonna battle someone to get enough XP to change Koa ability. It give more problems than good things.

Rivalry is very much designed to be high risk, high reward. True, it backfires half the time, but that's nothing a Dragon/Swords Dance and/or a higher Strength attribute can't help remedy. Mold Breaker and Unnerve are low risk at the expense of being far more situational. Up to you how ya want to handle that, though.
Nathan has zilch encounters remaining. Kimono, Emolga, and Training were his three. Any further posts I make for the day while everyone else is going about their remaining business will likely involve Nathan just chillin' and talkin' with his pokemon.
