Oh. If Ventus too desires to visit the shack selling/trading/buying Trading Cards, guess that'll be another group-thing? Cool.
I'm fine if we visit this place all together after the Museum Trip, we could simply meet up at the Exit of the Museum before heading to the shack. Shiva does wait for the others there. (Unlike the others, she's somewhat more interested in the collectible aspect and the cards themselves than [unlike me] the artworks+the collectible aspect.)

I think you missed mentioning the Plume fossil, Archen, and Archeops in the Prehistoric section. Mind fixing that real quick?
Done.

I had some kind of starter set, the one with the holographic Machamp, but I never did much collecting beyond that. If people do much with the TCG's in the Skull Ruins campaign, a lot of it will be abstracted - in other words, dice will be used to represent pretty much anything. More on this if people want to get into it after visiting the Shack.

Depends how the visit of the Shack turns out for me and how expensive and time-cosuming getting into the TCG will be, but it feels like a nice side-occupation.

Bet that Shiva's Almanac would know more?

Reminds me of something the High Rollers (a DnD stream that I like to watch) did during one of their holiday specials. There was a trading card thing, and there were percentile dice involved in 'opening boosters' to determine the general quality of the cards in the deck (which would determine what kind of bonus modifier it had, along with additional modifiers if one of the decks had an inherent advantage against the enemy's due to the kinds of decks they were. Basically a type triangle thing), then the 'duels' would be a roll off with the modifier bonuses, and whoever rolled higher won the duel.
Simple, easy to handle, and it left a lot of room for player creativity.

Sounds great. If you can find me the full rules I might use them. I was going to do a rather similar d6 version, because it might be nice to be able to "catch 'em all".

This is the exact stream that they did it in. Timestamp is when they open the first set of boosters, and I believe the rules are explained soon after when they get to an actual 'duel' (there might have been a little more just beforehand, too. Might have to watch a little more of the video to get all the exact rules, but I think the whole thing was really well done). It's hombrewed stuff obviously, so I don't think the DM explains all the exact probabilities of the boosters in the stream, but all the important mechanical stuff from the player side is explained.

If you guys want to do the training card game , I'd like to say I'm uninterested in it beside obtaining a Keni card for that trainer Ven fought long time ago. I rather stick purely to the combat and roleplaying that exist as is , rather than get involved in something unrelated to that. Sorry, but that is just my preference guys...

I'm not saying I WANT to do it, but that it sounds interesting. Whether Shiva actually battles via cards or evolves into a super-geek by collecting a ton of cards once she gets tired of trying to beat highscore in PokemonTetris on her Almanac depends. Wait and see, I guess?

She rather ponders how many booster she should actually buy, depending how much one of a series that may be to her liking costs. (Ex Crystal Guardians is somewhat my favorite)
You'll probably be gettin' involved in this one way or another though
Uh...Crystal Guardians is a Delta Species set...might want to take that into account. It's one of my favorite sets too, though

It doesn't include solely Deltamon. That's also my favorite, that does by no means mean that it's Shiva's as well. In-chara, she has never heard of Creshire's Trading Cards as said by GM!
