Before I do that, I want an Insight + Knowledge Roll on what it is first, @ Iron. If I fail it, Ven's going to keep it until its identified, as he doesn't want to hand off unknown things without at least having an idea of what they could do.

Now I'm feeling a to some degree relieved that I didn't choose that Encounter as I felt tempted to. Besides, it's 2am here, so my Encounter will definitels stretch to tomorrow as I cannot stay up the whole night, Iron (as much as I'd be down for it, but I have errands this Saturday).

Wait, hang on! @ Iron, @ Spiritmon, you forgot Mega Launcher gives Water Pulse (and other Pulse/Aura moves) +2 damage/healing dice,. Need to roll another 2 damage dice for that Water Pulse since it should have been 8 D6 before defense was applied. Rock Wrecker will still hit and KO for sure, but every little bit of damage helps, right?

You forgot on detail , Iron : Gustav is part Ground type from the Eremit's blessing , so ttheey would resist the Rock Wrecker and be left with 1 HP , presuming Clawitzer,s Max HP is 7.

THAT is definitely correct. And yes, Clawitzer would have 7 Max HP (4 base, 3 Vitality).
So yeah, just barely avoids the KO, and MIGHT fire off a second Water Pulse. Chip damage, away!
