Heart awake and couldn't find some peace after hearing the discussion of these two. "If you two don't mind, I going to check it out around us. Trying to find any kind of clue about where our little visitor came. Since I have better Stealth skills in the ground I should be the one to take a look." That's and because Heart still thinking about what Shiva say and as much she is her friend, Heart would prefer to avoid her for a while. 

Wow. Shiva intimidation was more effective than it appears. "Don't worry about me, see you guys soon." Heart say all of this without his usual smile. If someone could noticed, he is not very happy today. To avoid anything Heart decided to forward in his job.

Heart was startled when Shiva yell to him and even intimidated. He stay silence for quite a bit then say with a silent almost not audible voice. "They try to capture and raptate you while we was in the Little Cup...and was ready to attack people no matter what...sorry if my impression with them its not the best but...I only worry about our well being. Even for a friend." Heart stay silent a bit after reply. He looks a bit hurt after what Shiva say but decided to hide away. "I going to take the watch now. Sleep well everyone..." And then Heart excuse their friends and find some place to stay awake and the watch.

He simple nod his head about Nathan words in agreement. Heart did accept Azu and Dizzy to stay watch with him. Better be prepare then sorry. He still feel a bit sad after what happened between him and Shiva. But he decided to stay alert to any problem. No need to make them more anger they already is...

The empath evenly returned her platentive stare with a still displeased one of his own, before tiredly shaking his hand and opening his arm slightly, signally a comforting hug was available to her, if she wished. Regardless, he accompanied her back into the tent once it was clear Heart was going to shoulder the second watch instead of himself tonight, guiding her back to her section of the tent before returning to his to try and fitfully catch so sleep. Most likely was not going to happen, given how wired he was from the collector's snoring and now being on hyperAlert, but an effort made was better then none in most cases, so he tried none the less....

With her honed senses and the attention she was bringing up to Heart currently, Shiva had not much of a problem to understand what he was silently mumbling to himself. Carefully and neutraly, she kept her gaze on him for a little longer after he turned silent again, rethinking his words and remembering the time where the Scimitars were after her for some reason.

It were unpleasant memories. Memories she'd rather now stir up again, especially since in the end they didn't succeed to catch her thanks to Nathan defeating them before their plan could work. Shiva succeeded to somewhat digest the matter by now that it's not keeping her awake at night, but...would they attempt to lay their hands on her once more, would they 'take revenge'? Shiva wasn't sure... But she'll be prepared IF they do, vengence will be hers. There was no room to be scared by them when she's able to defend herself to some degree.

It wasn't hard for her either to pick up that Heart was somewhat hurt, and she couldn't blame him for that.

Having nothing against that, she eventually summoned Azumarill and asked her to keep watch alongside Heart, when the fae rabbit purposefully walked over to the PUNisher Shiva shoot him an understanding look.

Ventus however was met with a somewhat sad and troubled expression for several reasons, she thankfully accepted his comforting hug and escort to bed, being moved that he has her back despite his obvious displeasure.




Onward to Day 58 then.


Tiredness, physical and emotional exhaustion, stress and a feeling of being done with everything quickly guided Shiva into the meadows of her dream realm, where she managed to regain some of her chipper and energy in order to feel much better in the morning. Or 'morning', because daytime was relative down this mountain.

Once awoke, she doesn't leave her place/the tent at first. She was feeling much better, true, but was she really 'fine'? Maybe she was on the first glance, but beneath the surface, she was so in a turmoil like she hasn't been for quite a while. The longer the group was staying here, the longer their quest took, the more apparent it became and will become to her that she cannot hide the fact that she has developed depressive traits and the lack of daylight and feeling of isolation from the world at the surface was paying a toll on her, neither that she's missing Nightshade as her beloved sunbringer. To deal with that before it'll hinder her, this morning she took two pills/capsules of Vitamin D/ St. John's Wort each, which the pharmacist set as the limit for her. Having done so, she withdrew some notes she made to keep track of the date and how many days have passed meanwhile so look over them and realice that in 4 days, Chresire will celebrate Valentine's Day for Pokemon.... Sighing a little, she packed these notes away and checked on the two whithered Nanab Berries she kept... It won't take long anymore until they'll be.....'ripe'. Staring at them for a little in a pondering expression, she drew 2 normal Nanab Berries and placed them into a different container in order to let them rot. If Tropius expressed being fine to keep unpleasant items for a little if necessary, he'll probably won't complain about holding a poisonous rotten berry, will he...?

Now then.... Eventually fully dressed and her Ranger's Cloak pleasantly keeping her warm, Shiva exited the tent. To be specific, she exited it in a manner that was somewhat screaming 'Do not come too close with a bad intention if you don't want to experience toxic fairy dust in your lungs ' and her expression almost painfully neutral and averted to the ground, it looked so weird on her... The coldness of the cavern wonderfully reflected her and almost gave the impression that she was leaving a trail of ice crystals behind her as she walked. Though there was still some grace in her walk, suggesting that she'll be friendly to those that she knows and cares for. Yena was siding her, the Training Kong firmly held between his teeth.
For 6xp, Shiva's Intimidate Speciality raises by 1 to now have 2 points. Anyone who wants to mess with her now or approaches her carelessly because she's cute should maybe think twice before doing so.


Calmly, she took a seat at Ventus' side as if it was the most normal thing to do, carefully and softly touching his hand as a good-morning greeting for the oddball of Sociologist. It was obvious to her that he seemed 'different', meant business, but to her relieve has not gone unfettered yet(?). He earned an appreciating look from her, before acccepted Azumarill back from Heart and she spoke up in a serious tone, the softness in her voice seemed to be still asleep. "Good morning. Everyone's doing better? Fine... So, have you people thought about what we shall do now, and how to continue, and of course how to deal with you-know-what?"

Shiva does have an opinion and thoughts about that, but it'd be off-chara if she'd share them right away so she lets the others speak at first. The whole discussion-time, Poochyena stays by her side, keeping watch of them all and biting on his Kong and some stones that lay around. (Not in the means of a Training Session however.)

That opening earned Nathan a concealed wondering and curious glance, so she let him head back into tent without objecting as she and Yena were following him with their gaze. "Let us know what you find out afterwards, please", she made heard before he was out of sight.

Facing the cavern walls for a little in a ponderous expression, Shiva eventually turned to those that were still present: Ventus, Valder and of course Mr. Finder. An impercibly sigh followed before she spoke up towards them in a tone that will, to her assumption, get them to share their thoughts about what might be the best handling of the situation according to the current level of information. "Alright then. Do you two have any suggestions or ideas what would be an acceptable and not too risky course of actions? I'm having an idea, but neither do I.....know whether it's a good one nor would I like to suggest anything before you spoke. But....are we in terms that one of our priorities is keeping you, Mr. Finder, safe and well and WITH US? Without you and Slurpuff, our chances to reach the Librar....Antheneum rather quickly decrease to zero."

Before Heart decided to scout the area in case Scimitars..."Well, I gonna go forward to scout the area in case there any sight of danger. I have stealth skills I been training for a while when I was training with Viktor."

Raising Stealth to 1 Point using 12 XP. Heart need to be very much furtive in case he see something.

"Gonna go now. If I see something, gonna send Patrat. We see soon." Than Heart go forward and hide in shadows. That 3 of stealth is something useful.

"...ransom only works if they care enough about the pokemon to make extra effort to get it back.  They've threatened to steal my pokemon before, so I can't be certain they'd care about the loss of one pokemon.  I need to ask Solosis some questions, and then we'll probably have Mr. Finder use it to track the Scimitars.  Whether we engage them before we reach Atheneum is another matter."

Nathan's still rather annoyed that he's being bothered about this right now, even if it does make sense for Ventus to be asking these questions.

Ventus turns away from Nathan and closes his eyes, letting out a thoughtful *Hmmm* as he briefly analyzed their plan of action, before shrugging their shoulders non-commitally.

"I meant ransom more along the lines of keeping them hostage, but point taken. Your plan sounds agreeable too, and my suggestion is that we begin pursuit of the Scimitar ASAP to prevent them from becoming a great threat down the line, if it matters. We'll have to make such a decision or not as a group, though, but I rather make my opinion known now than later on."

If the boy's annoyance with his non-chalent quiet discussion and grim mood bother the sociologist any, it wasn't readily apparent.

When his fae fancy exited the tent in the morning and gave off an unmistakable aura of Intimidation and frigidness , however, Ven head almost snapped towards them with a look of mild surprise gracing his feature, before he quickly stamped it down back to its former severe neutrality. 'It seems that my dearest mood has taken a plummet like mine own and everyone else's after last night, or so it seems. Still, I feel their's plenty of warm in her left she's willing to share with us and herself, so this new demeanor of her won't be a grand issue......I pray to Reshirim it won't be, at any rate,' he thought, letting his most blessed of girlfriends get comfortable by his side and returning her hand touching with a gentle carass of his own, letting her speak her own piece without any interruption on his part.

The boy's swift and mildly infuriated exit from the group came as no surprise to the empath, as he felt they would prefer to be away from the rest of the group while interrogating Solosis after last night's events rudely awakened him to the fact that very few shared his merciful nature. He wasn't even disappointed in them for doing that, as by now avoiding people when pressured/unhappy with them was considered second nature to them by the empath. 'If he doesn't learn to better cope in the face of adversity from both within and without, real or perceived, he's going to find himself very miserable on the remainder of our journey very soon. Oh well, how he grows and develops is up to him in the end......'

Attentively, she listened to him making his thoughts hurt, the way he phrased things underlined once more what image she got from the usually soft and caring Ventus this morning. The whole time, her expression remained unreadable, but after he finished speaking it became harder for her to keep that up. She sighed a little while looking down to the ground, eventually reached to her side to give her special butterwolfly (who was currently busy trying to break a medium-sized stone with his bite) a few strokes on the back of his head, then went back to face Ventus. "I somewhat foreseen that THIS will be your prefered choice of actions, Ven. To say that I'm.....somewhat against that though would be a lie. You people are the stronger battlers, so naturally that you're probabaly not afraid of approaching 'them' on our own while I.......am not that brave.... Still, I can understand where this decison comes from. But people, we don't know many of 'them' there are, and fighting outnumbered is something I'd rather not like us attempting in our fury and anger. Even if we defeat them NOW... What then? What if they have more spies ahead, what will they do once we defeated them, what if they'll come back afterwards? "

A quiet and calm voice within Shiva told her that they (the group) will have several days in advance in that case, and it eased her nerves by a little. Still, what if...

Another imprecible sigh escaped her, as Yena looked up to her while tilting his head. "But if all of us end up being for that way of dealing with ''em'... Risky.... I've been, well, thinking of heading forward and collapsing the cavern in a controlled manner to end them trailing us or at least massively delay ''em', but......."

Let's see... Heart does find another patch of goo, dripping from another hole in the ceiling. There's a tunnel up there, running parallel to yours and ending quite abruptly at the hole.

Silence as Nathan lets that sink in.  He's starting by trying to gauge how much Solosis might care about/appreciate that fact.  Ralts is there to provide emotional readings of the 'subject' to Nathan, as usual.
